Where is the old Sybase/Powerbuilder newsgroup archive these days?

It appears Google can't even find it anymore. Every link to Sybase Forums Archive is fruitless.
If it's been moved to this "website" it is not blatantly obvious to me where it is. It would be a real shame if all that good info were lost to the public.

I don't use Google groups that often. I actually have sybase.public.powerbuilder.general as one of my groups.
Its too bad a Google doesn't bring them up in the result for a regular search. I did a Google search on a known entry in the old webforms newsgroup using the words "powerbuilder" and the title of the known entry but didn't get a hit in the Google group.

Created new library, where is the old one??

I created a new library, using the create a new library command. It worked, opened a brand new empty library. Where is the old library? Did it get deleted totally or is it somewhere in the computer?

Tried this, got a number of choices, including the name of the new library. But other choices were: Applications, Developer, Library. System, System Folder...
Have I missed something?

Where has the old mail archive?

I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Maverics. I had email archived On my Mac but seem to have lost the mailboxes having updated to Maverics, how can I get them back?

I tried that but I couldn't find the mail boxes, perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place, where does the system put them?

Where did the old left click shortcut go - to 'make link'?

Aloha, Please tell me if there is a way to make a link like there was prior to installing the 10.4.11 update.
Before i installed that update i was able to press control & click and the pop up menu would give me the quick option 'make link' from the link text i typed. Now, since i have installed the update, it is gone and some of my links don't automatically become links; in email they seem to but on, for example, myspace they do not.
Please tell me if there is a shortcut to get to that sweet, quick and easy old 'make link' option.

Where's the old driver? I don't want e-print!!

Need to re-install my printer driver, as my laptop had to be rebuilt.
BUT I can only now find the e-print driver for HP Photosmart 5510 - where is the usual driver??
The e-print isn't working very well for printing, and also can't seem to use it to scan documents -
I'm a bit annoyed!! Have had to download the e-print, struggling with it not working and even working out how to contact hp has been very difficult involving me logging into this forum...??
Where is the usual driver is the only thing I want to know. Simple really.

Hi Paula,
Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
I am afraid that there is no "old driver". Once a new driver is released, the old software is removed. While you may not be the only one to bemoan the fact, it is still the case.
ePrint is separate from the Full Feature Software. You do not have to use ePrint at all -- in fact, one has to register the printer with HP Connected to connect the printer to the Internet; it is a separate and deliberate act and not one associated with the everyday use of the printer.
You did not mention your Operating System -- therein might lie the issue; are you using an unsupported Operating System? For example, are you using Mac Yosemite?
Several recent Windows and Mac Operating Systems do provide the Full Feature Software for this printer:

General Instructions to Install the Printer Software
Reminder:
In most cases, the Solution Center has been replaced by the Printer Assistant.

Enter your Printer Model information
Select your Printer from the “Results” list

Click NEXT and Scroll down
Look for category Driver - Product Installation Software
Select the Basic Driver, e-print, or Full Feature Software

Be sure to look for Updates as needed for your installation. If available, you may download the Print and Scan Doctor and / or other programs from Category – Utilities.
If you have ‘Admin’ control, you may highlight the package and “double-click” to install it, else Right-Click, Select run as Administrator and install.

If using a USB connection: Download and install the driver software before connecting a USB cable.

Where are the old Firefox releases?

As i have problems getting Pencil up and running with FF4 so i wnt to remove it and install FF3 again. FF4 is of no value for me at the moment when old plugins and extensions are not working anymore.
But the website is not presenting a link to the old versions? At least i can not find it...

Please do the following.
Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.17] and download it to the desktop.
Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to '''Mozilla Firefox '''and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box).
Then reboot and delete the folder called '''Mozilla Firefox''' at this location: ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox''
Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier.
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.
After you complete the installation, go to the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page and update those where necessary.

Where did the option for Delete or Archive go?

I have iPhone4, iOS 4.0.2
For my Gmail Exchange Push account, the on/off switch for "Archive Messages" is gone. This is what the switch looks like:

I have already deleted and re-added my Gmail Exchange account, and power cycled my phone. Nothing worked.

The Archive option appears with SMTP for me, but I want Exchange Push.

Where is the old iTunes?

I hate the new iTunes why can't I just have the old iTunes this is getting like Windows or Microsoft to useless to use it was user friendly then what happened

You can download the old iTunes here:

You will need to remove the new version first.
Launch Terminal from the Utilities folder within Applications
Type the following commands:
cd /Applications/
This brings you into the Applications directory, the next command deletes iTunes itself:
sudo rm -rf iTunes.app/
Enter the Administrator password to confirm
You will need to restore your previous library itl file.
Navigate to the iTunes folder in Music and find the iTunes Library.itl file and rename it iTunes Library OLD . Then open the Previous iTunes Libraries folder and find the one from before the update (should have a date in the name) and rename it iTunes Library (remove the date) then move it to the main iTunes folder.

Strange. On my iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 it is exactly where i said it was. Sounds/Ringtones/Classic. There's a long list there of 25 different sounds, and one of them is "Old Phone"

How do I print a mirror image? Where did the old functionality go?

Within the last several months I was able to print a mirror image of my document to my HP DeskJet F4180 in high resolution. I don't know if it is the new HP drivers, or my new Snow Leopard OS but now I can' figure out how to do it again. I can grab a screen shot in and flip it in Preview but it ends up printing in low resolution.
I have printed mirror images in the past from my PDF applciations and I think from Office 2008 (PowerPoint). I find no documents saved on my hard drive that come up saved as a reverse image so I suspect that I was using a printer feature not an application feature to print mirror images.
Where did this functionality go?

Where is the old firefox homepage? The one with all the tabs above the search bar which says Youtube, IMDB etc?! I cannot find it s I have reinstalled my OS so everything is gone.

There are onclick event tied to the URL that changes the link when you left or right-click. 
So on first hover you see something different than after you have clicked a link with the mouse. 
You can check that yourself by closing the right-click context menu and then hover the link another time. 
It is possible to remove the onclick with a Scriptish/GreaseMonkey script or with a bookmarklet (do a Google search). 
Firefox will always show the URL as present in the href attribute and not what the onclick will make of it as this is only known after running the JavaScript code in the onclick.
It is best not to mess with the JavaScript setting in Firefox as this is a very basic enable/disable and will cripple a lot of web pages when you disable JavaScript. 
There are extension like NoScript that can block all scripts by default, but that requires to whitelist all websites where you want scripts to run. 
This may slow down Firefox when this list gets larger and also you need to be aware that pages may not work properly. 
This is the same with all extensions that block content.

Where's the old stuff hidden?

Would some kind person please point me to instructions on a completely clean install of v1. I have add/removed beta4, deleted folders under Program Files and Application data, but when I install v1 it finds the folders and previews I had under the beta.

You may have removed the application, but the library and pointer to it lived on. One quick way to do this is to start a new library. Hold down option key on launch, and/or set Prefs to ask you re Library. Then you can delete your old library or import parts of it at will.
