Where is the palette?

I have just looked at the video at Apple for the Guitar Amp Pro plug in for Logic Pro. The demonstrator brings a palette up of stored sounds. I can't seem to find it. Any ideas?
Cheers,
TT...NBD

Just looked at the video, and it seems to be something constructed in the environment for the purposes of the demo video. AFIAK, it isn't a 'stock' option that you're missing - the presets are all under popdown beneath the bypass button.

  • Where is the Layers palette with DIV custom names?

    Hello!
    Where is the Layers palette with DIV custom names and Z orders? Wy in last update we don't have one?
    I think in Ideas area many people request this feature.
    Thanks

    The default location for the Layers panel is in the lower right of the Editor (while in Full Edit mode).
    If you don't see it, it may have been hidden or minimized. Try going to the Window menu at the top and select Layers from the list. This should unhide or maximize the panel.

  • Where is the data palette view?

    Hi,
    We are using the Ellipse come along with Weblogic Portal 10.3.2 for a new project development.
    We are unable to find the data palette view which is the very useful feature provided by previous Workshop.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14981-01/wli/docs1031/jpdtutorial/tutWLIProcessDesignView.html
    Data palette displays the all the variables the JSP page can use and devleopers just need to drag the variable into JSP instead now to type manfully like ${pageContext.request.requestURI}
    Anyone can advise on it?

    I should also add that you will need to make sure the JSP is opened with the "Web Page Editor". There are multiple editors that can be used to edit a page (Eclipse has a "JSP Editor" and a "Text Editor" associated to JSP files as well). The Palette view in the "Web Page Editor" contains the "Data Palette" you are looking for. It will display page variables and managed beans (for JSF) that you will be able to drag and drop. OEPE also has content assist support that should help with writing EL expressions as in your example.

  • Where is the DDE Palette and how can I change the icons in the user vi-libraries?

    I am using a german version of LV6.02. I can't find the DDE vi's in the function palette, even though the dde.llb exists alongside the other communication vi-libraries (HiQ, ActiveX). I tried copying dde.llb into user.lib, but the icon doesn't appear (yes, I did restart LV).
    The second part of my question: is it possible to edit the icon (symbol) and the name of a user vi-library? The menu EDIT>EDIT FUNCTION AND CONTROL PALETTES does not appear in the LV version I am using.

    In order to edit a palette in LabVIEW 6, click on the options button that is on the top row of either the Functions or Tools palette. You can use this to either edit the icon, name or add the DDE functions. I suspect that the DDE functions were removed from the palette because DDE is pretty much obsolete technology. Microsoft wants everyone to use ActiveX instead.

  • DID YOU KNOW?? - ABOUT ADVANCED COMPONENTS IN THE PALETTE??

    <br>
    Hi All,
    DID YOU KNOW??
    The IDE ships with the following Advanced Components in the Palette.
    These advanced components are a set of JavaServer Page markup tags for advanced users. The components have no visual appearance and are useful to developers with experience in JSP and JavaServer Faces technologies.
    * Encoding
    * Faces Action Listener
    * Faces Converter
    * Faces Validator
    * Faces Value Change Listener
    * Faces Verbatim
    * Link
    * Load Bundle
    * Markup
    * Meta
    * Parameter
    * Script
    Lets look at MARKUP component in more detail.
    The MARKUP Component
    You can drag the Markup component Markup component icon from the Palette's Advanced category to the Visual Designer to create a standard HTML tag. The Markup component enables you to insert HTML elements into the JSP page in places that HTML is not permitted.
    When you drop this component on a page in the Visual Designer, you cannot see it on the page until you set the tag property. You can see it in the Outline window and you can select it there to edit its properties in the Properties window.
    Use the tag property to specify the type of HTML element to insert. For instance, to insert an <hr> tag, set the tag property to hr with no angle brackets and select the singleton property .
    To provide compliance with XHTML, if the HTML element you are inserting is a singleton element, you must specify the singleton property, which causes a trailing /> to be generated in the rendered HTML. For example, the <br> element is a singleton element that must be rendered as
    to make it XHTML compliant.
    If you want to specify HTML attributes in addition to id and style for the element you are inserting, use the extraAttributes property.

  • DID YOU KNOW?? - ABOUT DATAPROVIDER COMPONENTS IN THE PALETTE??

    Hi All,
    DID YOU KNOW??
    Practically all applications entail accessing data of some sort, often data stored in a relational database table or some sort of list, such as a vector or an array. Usually you need to read in data from the data source, but many times you have to update that data, too. The Sun Java Studio Creator integrated development environment, as another enhancement to its application model, provides data provider components that simplify accessing data sources, regardless of whether the data source is a relational database table, flat file, web service, vector, array, or some other type of data store.
    A data provider component is a nonvisual abstraction for wrapping sources of data, and it represents a more generic and flexible data binding mechanism. A glance at the Palette indicates that there are many different kinds of data providers available to you. These include data providers for cached RowSets, ResultSets, lists, arrays, maps, table rows, and method results.
    These data providers constitute a layer between a web application's components and its persistence tier, such as a database table, Array object, or Enterprise JavaBean object. This layer enables you to access data in a consistent way, even though data may come from different sources.
    Lets briefly discuss the CachedRowSetDataProvider
    The CachedRowSetDataProvider Component
    A CachedRowSetDataProvider is a wrapper to data held in a CachedRowSet. The primary purpose of a CachedRowSetDataProvider is to facilitate binding to components in the IDE. A CachedRowSet stores the data retrieved from a database. In fact, the only information held by the CachedRowSetDataProvider is a cursor position into the CachedRowSet. Multiple CachedRowSetDataProvider instances can reference the same CachedRowSet, and each instance will have its own cursor position into the CachedRowSet.

  • Where is the "stroke options panel" in Photoshop CS6?

    Where is the "stroke options panel" in Photoshop CS6? It used to be right above the layers palette in older versions of Photoshop but now it's gone. I'v been trying to find it for an hour and a half and it doesn't seem to be in any of the menus.

    If you're looking for the Stroke options of a layer, you can find that by clicking the layer you have a stroke on or wish to have a stroke on, and then clicking the fx icon in the bottom of the layers panel:
    And it will open the Stroke options for that layer.
    Another option is by clicking Edit at the top menu, and then choosing "Stroke..." (make sure you have a layer selected).
    It will then bring up a window with Stroke options on it for that layer:
    I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance!

  • Where is the button for HP Director in Windows 7?

    Where is the button for HP Director in Windows 7?  Trying to find the printer cartridge ink levels.  This is very easy to do on Canon printers.  Hopefully I can accomplish the same thing on an HP in at least a day.  I've been looking for about an hour, so far.
    Very frustrated.

    One ? should suffice, and why the capital letters?  Try to remain calm.  I know Photoshop can be frustrating, but In the grand scheme of things your inability to find a control in an application you're using really doesn't need such emphasis...  Please look up "netiquette" when you have a chance.
    Try hovering your cursor over things and look at the ToolTip help balloons that pop-up.
    You can add a Layer Mask by choosing Layer - Add Layer Mask from the menus.
    If you're seeking the icon on which to click to begin painting on a Layer Mask, this is the one you want:
    If you are talking about making layers visible or invisible, that's the little eyeball icon at the left of each layer in the Layers palette.

  • Where are the jar files added to a project listed?

    Hi Guys and Gals,
    This should be an easy one, and yes, I have searched google and the forums.
    My Master application/project uses task flows from other projects. These projects have been deployed to jar files, which are then added to my Resource Palette under the File System. From there, I may use these task flows in my Master project by clicking on their corresponding .jar file and selecting "Add to Project". However, where in the world are they listed?
    I would think they would be in Project Properties->Libraries and Classpath, but they are not.
    Using JDev 11.1.2.1.0.
    Befuddled,
    Will

    All ADFLibs are put into a lib named ADFLibrary. If you ADFLibs are dependent on other libs or jars you may see a lib 'ADF Dependend Libraries' which contain all secondary jars.

  • How to use the palette or drag and drop functions in netbean?

    Is there anyone who can help me out on using drag and drop function in netbean to design GUI inteface..??
    Is palette is the tool that can be used to drag and drop.??
    thank you in advance.

    I actually really like the GUI builder in netbeans. I used to be a big eclipse user so I am very familiar with coding GUIs by hand, and most of what I do involves GUI's or at least swing.
    At first I hated netbeans, I hated that I couldn't edit the code most. Then I decided to take a deep breath and really examine the issue. What I discovered is that most of the edits I wanted to make but couldn't really weren't the right way to be doing it in the first place, for the rest the code is actually really easy to change you just have to know how.
    Now my palette is huge, probably about 250 objects in it organized into sections that work for me. Basically if I want a object to do something that is not already in the palette I simply write a new object and add it to the palette. I started small like with rounded buttons/progress bars, and as I got comfortable I now have some fairly advanced objects like grids, isometric grids, alpha composits, an animated hourglass countdown timer, and an animated "loading/activity" indicator that is not tied to a progress indicator.
    The main reason I stuck with the netbeans drag and drop GUI builder is it's layout manager is really a very nice layout manager, you couldn't pay me enough to go back to eclipse or codeing GUIs by hand, as I can now do in one day what used to take me several weeks.
    So what I am saying is stick with netbeans and the drag and drop, it sucks at first, but once you get to a point where you are comfortable with it and adding to the palette it will become a great tool.

  • Where Is the MAINMENU Defined in the "Menu Module" Property of MAINFORM

    Hello Ya'll Gurus,
    I am trying to locate both the MainMenu.mmx and it's source MainMenu.mmb files that is being executed in the application run time, but so far with no luck. I am desperately in need of your help, and the pressure is on...
    I have found the following information in our environment and hopefully it will help in resolving my problem:
    The following is the command that runs our application:
    c:\orant\BIN\ifrun60.EXE C:\MMS\Production\mainform.fmx <userid>/<psswd>@mms
    The following are the images of the property palettes for the MainForm and MainMenu forms:
    Image for the mainform.fmb property palette:
    !http://dot.state.ak.us/nreg/jtomasic/MainForm_Property_Palette.GIF!
    Image for the mainmenu.mmb property palette:
    !http://dot.state.ak.us/nreg/jtomasic/MainMenu_Property_Palette.GIF!
    Please help me with the following questions:
    Q1: Since "C:\MMS\Production\mainform.fmx" is included in the command line that runs our application and the "Menu Module" property of the "mainform.fmb" form is "MAINMENU", does it mean the "MAINMENU.mmx" is being executed through mainform.fmx when the application starts running?
    Q2: If the answer to the above (Q1) question is yes, the 'MMS' defined in the Menu Filename is then not being used at all, correct? and where can I find the "MAINMENU" file specified in the "Menu Module" property of the "mainform.fmb" form?
    Q3: The attached Libraries for the MAINFORM include HMMSHELP, MAINLIBR and MENULIBR. Are these libraries loaded to the MAINFORM dynamically or statically? BTW, the MENULIBR.pll is also attached to MAINLIBR.pll and what does that mean?
    Q4: The 'Main Menu" property in the mainmenu.mmb form is defined as "MAIN_MENU" which ties the "MAINMENU" specified in the Menu Module property of the "mainform.fmb" form, correct?
    Thanks in advance for any/all the help on this.

    Q2: If the answer to the above (Q1) question is yes, the 'MMS' defined in the Menu Filename is then not being used at all, correct? and where can I find the "MAINMENU" file specified in the >"Menu Module" property of the "mainform.fmb" form?Looking at the onlinehelp, the property "Menu filename" may be used if the menu is stored in the database. As far as i know this is not possible since forms 6i (but i may be wrong here). If i'm right, the property is no longer important.
    About finding the MAINMENU. I don't know where you find it. If you get no error it seems that it is somewhere on your machine. I would look into the directory C:\MMS\Production first. If its not where, check the FORMS60_PATH-variable and search in the directories listed in that variable.
    Q1: Since "C:\MMS\Production\mainform.fmx" is included in the command line that runs our application and the "Menu Module" property of the "mainform.fmb" form is "MAINMENU", does it >mean the "MAINMENU.mmx" is being executed through mainform.fmx when the application starts running?If i'm right about Q2, the answer is Yes.
    Q3: The attached Libraries for the MAINFORM include HMMSHELP, MAINLIBR and MENULIBR. Are these libraries loaded to the MAINFORM dynamically or statically? BTW, the MENULIBR.pll is >also attached to MAINLIBR.pll and what does that mean?What do you mean with dynamically or statically?
    Q4: The 'Main Menu" property in the mainmenu.mmb form is defined as "MAIN_MENU" which ties the "MAINMENU" specified in the Menu Module property of the "mainform.fmb" form, >correct?I don't understand your question. Forms searches the menu-module which is specified in the property "Menu Module" and "starts showing" the menu which is defined as the "main menu"
