Where is the Preview folder on mac?

Hi!~ I always open preview folder from systems temp on windows7, but in mac I can't find it folder?
event I search on floder not find.
Please tell me the preview temp folder path for mac!~

It's in your user (Home) > Library folder. In recent versions of Mac OS X, this is hidden by default.
In the Finder, hold down the Option key first while choosing Go > Library so you can see it.
Then find it in:
Library > Application Support > Adobe > Acrobat > 11.0 > Stamps

You can make it permanently visible by going to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.

Where is the Local Folder in Mac Mail

i have been banging my head against a wall trying to get my Local Folder mail from my current email handler into Mac Mail and for some reason I don't see this account in Mac Mail. I tried a search in the Help documentation and can't seem to find good info on this.
can someone please help me figure out how I /move/ mail to the local folder and where i should see this folder?

i have been having a bit of an epic battle but i am now realizing that these are now shown to me in Mac Mail after having File > Import > MBox these folders from my previous Mail handler (I /tried/ using postbox)...
anyway, obviously now I can drag other mail to this Local Folder in Mac Mail since it is now there after having imported the info from elsewhere. not sure how one does this when Mail isn't showing a local folder but presumably there is a pulldown to move IMAP mail to Local.
anyway, the big, big, big thing to know here is that you can transfer LOCAL FOLDER mail from a mail handler to Mac Mail by IMPORTING. I was trying to do this with Postbox via GMail and in addition to the upload speeds being very slow, there was not way to know if the operation was completed and it /seemed/ to crash out part way through. doing this in Postbox was like eating a Peanut Butter Sandwich (heavy peanut butter) while standing in quicksand...
glad to be out of that trap.

Where is the extension folder for Adobe Bridge? (Mac)

I am trying to install the output module on Adobe Bridge. I am totally new to Creative Suite and photoshop. I can't find any information on bridge extensions at all. Here's the page I found on installing the output module- http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
I downloaded it but after that is says to copy it into the extension folder. Where is the extension folder? Is it is Bridge? Is it in Finder? Any information on extensions is much appreciated! What exactly are extensions? What is the difference between the extension folder and extension manager?

At first sight I can' see anything wrong about the correct locations you used.
There was no need to delete all workspaces but that also should do no harm I would think.
You once pointed at the bridge6.plist file but it is not clear to me what you did with it. Personally I would quit Bridge and delete this plist file manually and then restart with again holding down option and use reset preferences.
And you did also use the reset to standard workspaces instead of the reset workspace to only reset the selected workspace. I don't know for sure this will make a difference but it is worth a try.
And while you are in the user library to delete the plist file for Bridge also look in the folder caches in this library.
User / library/caches/adobe/Bridge CC and inhere find and delete both the plug in and cache folder, then restart Bridge.
Finally it might be also worth a try to download CS6, it should not be needed to do so but it was one of the earlier solutions that worked. In your ACC menu click on any app that shows blue and this brings you to the CC website. Choose download center and find PS. Click on the icon and this gives you the detailed download page. Inhere you can change CC to CS6.
Download PS6 it and install it (this also installs the CS6 version of Bridge which was not a separate download in CS6). Then try first start CS6 and start the AOM which is installed by default in this version.
Then when having used this once quit CS6 and try CC (or even combine with restarting your Mac).

*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. Deleting the Preview folder? CS3

Hi,
I was cleaning up the computer after finishing part of a very big project, before I continue working on the rest of it.
I noticed that there's a folder where premiere pro automatically saves your projects, it was called something Previews.
It has TONS of folders in there, some of them completely empty, and the whole previews folder is somewhere around 250 gigs. I really need more HDD space to continue working on my project, my question is:
What is in the previews folder, are those items necessary or can I erase them without messing with whatever project save they're associated with?

We have 2 external hard drives hooked up to the comp, both are Seagate, 500 GB.
We read that you can specify the location for those preview files, and we were thinking of using one of the hard drives as the location.
Couple more questions:
Can you use external hard drives for such a task (hooked to the comp with a USB 2.0 connection)?
If we move the preview files we have left from the default adobe folder to the external hard drive, will premiere recognize that they've been moved there?

where are the updates located for Mac App Store app? I don't think /Library/Updates is the only location. Because I'm now having 10+ of Apps reporting updates is needed, but only 1MB＋ files is located in /Library/Updates.

just where is the bookmarks folder in Firefox? i need to get my favorites into Firefox and when i use the import under the files tab i do get them put into the bookmarks but they are under a folder and i want them to be in the firs pull down when i click on the bookmarks button. thanks

The other email will have the password to open the secure pdf. Click the link and follow the on screen instructions to use the redemption code and download the 4+ GB Mountain Lion installer.

Hi. I installed Logic 7 on my Dual 2.3 for the first time today . I have 2 hard drives , one just for audio , so the install went to my system drive. Under applications i can see the Logic Icon which opens the program. Where is the physical folder , i mean where r the EXS24 samples etc.
Sorry its my first week with OSX.....
I shall be upgrading to 7.1 soon , so i will need to delete all this before installing that wont i ??

Hey Faisal,
OSX, sorts all applications right down in the application folder. Asscociated folders and documents are sorted in a folder called Application Support.
So your "Logic folder" is located here: system drive/library/Aplication Support
You actually have another one here also: User(probably your name)/Library/Application Support
This one is for your own saved patches etc.
So the Factory Library to your Exs 24 are located in the first and your own will be located in the second, by default. You don't have to follow this though.
You will not have to delete anything to run the updater, actually, you really shouldn't!
