Where is the Reader in Safari.

I've heard from a friend that there is a Reader in Safari that will print without any graphics in the document. Where would I find it if this is accurate.

Shift + Command + R enables the Reader function.

OK, your are looking for "Add to Reading List" button.
It is available by default but hidden.
Move the mouse pointer to the very left in the Safari address bar, a "+" sign in a circle will appear.
Click it to add an item to Reading list.

I can't find the reader button in the new updated safari for OS7. It made reading newspaper articles so easy. The adds were eliminated and the article text was enlarged. The reader button was in the old address bar in many pages such as the NY Times.

IPad Safari is controlled by the icons at the top of the screen.

Help make the reading list (safari) go away --FOR GOOD (not just unchecking preferences--that is not a solution)

The READING LIST feature on safari is soo freakin annoying. Even after unchecking it in bookmark preferences, everytime I signin someplace, I still see it invisibly recording my information. The reading glasses icon isn't in my bookbar anymore, but I see a small puff go up in the left side of my screen. How can we make this stop? I even confirmed it's true, because AFTER turning it off under preferences, when I went back to turn it on just to check hours later, I was horrified that it still kept collecting information through sites I visited. This feature's invasive and irritating. Is there a way to terminate the reading list for good???

You can turn off Reading List by clicking the reading glasses icon.

Where's the Reader X installer? Plugin not working

Is an installer file available for Reader X? The Firefox plugin doesn't work and I don't understand why adobe is making the Reader installabe from within the browser only?
Is there an .exe or .msi installer?

There is a Reader installer that is a binary executable. It doesn't require a browser to run it. The latest installer for English can be found here:

Where is the cache in Safari? A webpage that I visit regularly does not load this morning. Safari reports a 403 error at that webpage. Isitdownnow.com reports that that webpage is up and recommends, inter alia, emptying the cache in Safari. The Help Center in Safari tells me to pull down the Safari menu to "Empty Safari." There is no such tool in my Safari menu.

Safari menu - Reset Safari has an option to remove website data.
You can also use Safari - Preferences - Advanced to show the Develop menu. Once that's visible, there's an Empty Caches command there.
Also see Safari - Preferences - Privacy to remove cache/cookies etc for some or all sites.

Negative this is for all ios devices.. up at the top of safri you are going to see where it says "Reader" just click on it and you should be good to go.. I would say about 90% of the web pages I have read with reader work. I am on iPhone 3gs and also iPhone 4 and iPod touch 3g and 4g

Reader in safari 5.1 Lion

I've noticed that when I enter the reader on safari 5.1 for Lion, it doesn't remember the font size. I like to read articles on the maximum font size. But when I go into another article it sometimes goes back down to the small size.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? It's getting really annoying since I have to constantly increase the font size. This was not an issue for me on Snow Leopard.

Where is the "google reader" search in Safari?

Whenever I use any google web "app" such as news, gmail, video etc, there is always a search box at the top, except in RSS reader. This only happens in Safari. If I use Chrome, the search bar is there. This means I cannot search within my RSS feeds if I use Safari, my preferred browser. I know the search box used to be there but I can't remember when it went away. Is this an issue with Safari or with google? Any ideas on how I can get the reader search box back into Safari?
BTW, firefox also has the search box. again Safari does not.

If you had the Extension installed, check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. You may have turned Extensions off or inadvertently uninstalled Google Reader ?
