Where is the ringtone I bought in itunes

Bought a ringtone from my iPad. It shows up in my purchases on my laptop, but I can't find the actual ringtone on my phone.

Did you put it on your laptop?
If you bought it on your ipad, you would have to transfer it to the computer: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.

I had to get a new iphone and i couldn't back it up first, So im trying to redownload the music and ringtones i've bought off of itunes. I found under purchased my songs how can i redownload all the ringtones i bought off itunes?

Apps can be re-downloaded for free (instrutions here : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519). Media (musiv, films, tv, tv shows) can only be downloaded once, which is why you are advised to make and maintain backups of your content, especially purchased content. You can try contacting Apple via the Lost or Missing Items under the Music Purchases tab on this page http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/ - but Apple are under no obligation to let you re-download any content (and if they do it may be on a one-off basis, and you might not be able to do so again in the future)

I've bought ringtones and they show up on my iPod but not my phone an I don't have access to a computer, so I how would I get the ringtones I bought on iTunes on my phone?

At the present time, purchased ringtones cannot be redownloaded. You would need to import them to your iTunes library on a computer and sync them to your other devices. You can try contacting iTunes store support and see if they will grant you an exception to this: https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

I too am looking for this mysterious "File Sharing" pane. I have iBooks, GoodReader, Dropbox. It still doesn't appear. Will it only show up if you have updated file sharing apps? Which ones are they?

Where is the downloads status screen in iTunes 11? I use this to manage bandwidth and prioritize downloads.

The download status used to be listed under the purchased content playlists visible only when there were active downloads. It is now an icon just to the right of the search pain again only visible only when there are active downloads. Click on that icon and a new windows opens. Don't blink, you might miss it. At least is is resizable.....
