After installing the safari update for windows, outlook is now not opening email hyperlinks.  I have set safari to be my default browser but outlook won't open it when I click a link.  I get the following message: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Hi mcclausky, you may need to manually remove a policy setting from the registry. You also should scan for malware that might have created this problem.
This article lists scanning and cleaning tools other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].
To check your Windows registry for policy settings that might affect Firefox or other programs, I suggest consulting a Windows forum or Microsoft's forums. For example:

  • Where can I find the Safari DOWNLOAD for my PC?

Where can I find the DOWNLOAD to download Sarfari for my PC?

Is there an official statement from Apple about Safari 6 for Windows...
I've not seem one and everyone here is like you, an end-user, so would have no special knowledge that didn't violate an NDA. Apple tends to be closed-mouth and no one knows the plan until Apple releses the product or posts an announcement.
There are a lot of "Apple latest rumor" sites that make a living speculating on Apple next step, but I would not invest money based on their musings.

  • Where has the mobile emulator for windows gone?

Posts going back a year or so, refer to the mobile emulator for windows. Those links don't seems to work/be there, is there currently a version for developers?

No. Those tools were for old versions of Fennec that are now deprecated and essentially dead. All current development is geared towards the Android platform.

  • Where are the Mac Drivers for Windows 7 installation?

Where can i find the mac drivers for the windows 7 installation?

If you have a Mac with OS X Lion or Mountain Lion, they are available as a download. You can download them from Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) or from the Apple site.
If you have a Mac with Leopard or Snow Leopard, they are included in the Mac OS X disc that came with your Mac or in the Snow Leopard DVD. However, as you are going to run Windows 7, you can find more recent drivers in the Apple site as Boot Camp Support Software, depending on the Windows editions your Mac supports > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5634

  • Where is the .iso file for Windows 8?

I bought the ugprade for windows 8, and ran "Windows8-UpgradeAssistant"
It scanned my computer, all was good to go. I finished downloading something... (I assumed it was windows8)
But once I finished everything, it gave me a shortcut on my desktop called "Install Windows"
When I run that shortcut, it gives me 2 options:
    -Install now
    -Install later from your desktop
This is what I see everytime I run that shortcut file.
Where can I find my .iso file??
(Note, my current computer is not the computer I want to install Win8. I'm upgrading now so that I can get the ISO file and save it for later use when I get my new computer)

"Important: This tool provides valuable information about your computer's compatibility with Windows 8, facilitates the purchase of the Windows 8 download, and then downloads the correct
version (32-bit or 64-bit) based on information about
your computer - all important reasons to run this tool from the PC you're going to clean install Windows 8 on."
... I didn't know this, and I bought windows 8 on my current PC which is 5 years old.
I'm planning to get a new computer next month which will be 64-bit. Is there a way to re-download or am I out of luck?
On the Install Windows 8 screen, choose Install by creating media and
    then click Next.
This step never showed up for me.

  • Where is the iCloud download for iphone

I have looked everywhere to locate the iCloud download but can't find it! Can you please help? It would be for iPhone 5s

You don't download iCloud for iPhone. It is built-in.
    You'll find it in Settings.

  • Where did the Safari Download window go?

I downloaded a file via Safari and the Download Window did not spawn. I clicked on Window and the Download item is gone.
Also, when I took this screenshot and tried to save it as a jpg image, the Save As option in Preview is gone and you must now use Export. Sadly, the Export options does not tell you what size the resulting file is.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Az

    Thank you!
Is there a way to get a separate window that is persistant and wont fade out when I click somewhere else?

  • Where do I find the free download for Windows ME?

I seem to have lost the free Adobe Acrobat? that opens up documents for me to read.  When I went to downloads, there wasn't a version of Windows ME to select from the drop down box.  Could someone please point the way?   Thanks so much!

That's why I put a ? after Acrobat.  I will ask under "Reader".  I there is no "Windows ME" under operating systems to choose.  It is not in the drop down box.  I will look for the "Reader" forum.  Thank you.

  • Where is the mavericks download for mac laptop

I can find the upgrade but not the application although it tells me it is in the App Store. I can't
    find it there.
    Appreciate your help

    Yes. Success. Thanks.
PS Should my Macbook be using the battery when not in use? Eg: It was fully charged last nite, this morning the power is at 78% and I haven't used it.
Also is Flash Player part of this package? It won't stay up when I download it and some applications keep asking for it.

  • HT4135 Location of Safari download for Windows is... is... is... is... is.....

    Is...

Thank you, Captain Kirk! You also had a positive post a few days ago concerning Flash Crash.
Mac is very congenial, that way. Delete, re-dl, problem solved. Windows, not so kind. Dude who does WinZip  app lives close by you (Mammoth) and i just shared grief with him concerning win-Net-permissions: windows, you need a toolchest of 3rd party utilities, and sophistication to get anything done right. For 20 years all I've ever done is re-install failed OS ad infinitum. Mind the Wolverines...
    bye

  • Where is the Safari icon located.

I have found a bunch of custom icons for OSX on line and have started using them. I replaced the trash can empty and full, some of the icons in the finder sidebar etc. through system/library/coreservices. I backed up to original folders and corrected disk permissions afterward. Everything is working fine. But I can't find all of the icons I would like to replace.
Where is the safari icon for example? I looked in dock, finder and coretypes bundle. I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone help?

    Hi Jason,
When it comes to changing icons in the system or in applications, the possibility of creating some system problem jumps. As an alternative, I use CandyBar, which simplifies this process immensely.
