Where is the scheduled sync?

I know it sync and automatically ... but it is not scheduled ... how can I do that?

The sync occurs whenever content changes on either the AppleTV or iTunes (like playing content or getting new content). Thus scheduling doesn't really bring any benefit. However, if you don't have iTunes always running, no sync can occur. In that sense you could "schedule" a sync by having a cron launch iTunes. Is that what you were thinking to accomplish by the schedule?

• Where is the Scheduler log file located?

I'm trying to track down and diagnose this error in my scheduling/bursting:
Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel: EMAIL.  Please check the Log for error details...
But a search of my entire drive does not reveal any file with a .log extension that has been updated recently, nor do I see a reference to the location of said log file anywhere in the documentation.
Where is the log file to which this error message is referring? Running the OBIEE Suite 10.1.3.4.1 under Windows.
Thanks!

Hi Mthompson,
Look at this on how to create the log file.

am sure, you did not create the email/smtp configuration, thats why you see this error.

• Where is the catalog sync feature?

Okay, first, thanks to Adobe for putting soft proofing in. Boy, did we need that one!
But where, oh where, is the thing where my laptop DB checks in with my main image DB back at the studio, refreshing the studio DB with recent edits I've done on the laptop and adding the new photos I've taken?
Serious LR users need this feature, and I for one am very dissapointed that we didn't get it.
Or will we?

As it may not make the final release, and we wouldn't want the request to get lost in beta land, might I suggest adding the request to the Feature Request forum http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family where it can easily be tracked?  Or if you search there, you should find similar requests that you might like to add your vote to.

• Where is the scheduled job?

This scheduled job starts at 22:00 every day on the Linux server.  it creates snapshot on a remote storage via ssh,  and here is what I found in the log about the job on the remote node:
Sun Nov 10 22:00:08 EST [remote_node: rshd_0:debug]: [email protected](linux server ip)[email protected](ip)_37397:IN:ssh2_37397:IN:ssh2 shell:SSH INPUT COMMAND is snap create hourly_11-10-2013_22-00
It seems root cron job is the only cron job under /var/spool/cron on this Linux server. However, I can not find the script which started at 22:00 at all, nor any script with such function. the following is the only line at 22:00pm in /var/cron/log
Nov 10 22:01:01 phoenix crond[24352]: (root) CMD (run-parts /etc/cron.hourly)
However, there is no any scripts with such function in /etc/cron.hourly neither.
Please help me out where this schedule job possibly located on the linux server.
Thank you in advance!

Understand all you are saying here.
I have already talk to NetApp support. They are right that the action on the storage is definitely triggered by this linux server "phoenix". The following message has clearly stated that:
Sun Nov 10 22:00:25 EST [netappname: rshd_4:debug]: [email protected]_37412:IN:ssh2 shell:SSH INPUT COMMAND is snap create vol1 vol1_nightly_11-10-2013_22-00
159.3.99.146 is the ip for the linux server "phoenix".
However, they can not tell me more since it should be found out on the linux.
The problem is that I could not locate the script either by searching crontab jobs or any anacron as you explained.
root is only user who has cron job. I checked everysingle line, not only there are no such scripts, also there are no any jobs will ge kicked at 22:00 as the time when the action is started.
I also searched /etc/cron.hourly. there is only one script, and it does nothing about that action.
so, i don't have a clue about what and where the script possible is...

• Where is the scheduler component

This link on Sun's website shows a composite Scheduler component
http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/reference/fi/2/components.html
as a new component added in Sun Java Studiop Creator 2 but I can't find it anywhere.
Can I download it somewhere???

You'd have to build your own composite scheduler using the calendar and other components.
If there are others missing, quite likely for the same reason, but I'll check into this.
Aside on what is avaliable on the Creator site:

http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/reference/docs/help/components/composite_list.html
there are some threads on the Java forums on composite components, for ex:

• Where's the "Disable sync when" option in the late...

My friend's E71 has the option in his Nokia Messaging (v.9.7.0.2), he could select disable sync when "battery at 15%, 5%, 20% or never", it's a great feature if you wanna keep syncing ur latest emails with NM for all the time no matter how much battery is left, but this option couldn't be found in the latest built-in Nokia Messaging (2.1.0) on my E52, and it seems that it has set default as "disable sync when battery at 15% approx." (because it stops syncing automatically when the battery goes down to 1 bar), which might be inconvenient if some important mails arrived but you just couldn't get'em because of the low battery. In one word, Users should have the right to choose to disable the synchronization at their own discretion.

Don't u guys using E52/E55/E72 face the same problem? =(

• New N73.... but where's the Active Sync?

Any advice? Or should I return the little **bleep**??

Some of the posters above might need to follow these instructions. Once the phone gets in the indefinite 'Connecting' state caused by certificate problems, it might not ever connect again without restoring the device.
This is something being studied. It seems to happen when the prompt about untrusted certificates is not answered within a few minutes.
What you need to do is backup your device to a memory card, restore the device to factory settings, and restore your backup.
Read this entire section before following the steps:
1. Perform the backup – Insert a memory card. Then use Menu>Tools>Memory>Options>Backup… and follow the instructions.
2. Next restore the device to factory state - This can be done by going to the idle state and entering *#7370#. This affects more than Mail for Exchange. All data is wiped from device, but most will be recovered during the next step (but not all). Applications the user has added may not be restored and will have to be reinstalled. This depends on if application author supports the backup feature.
3. Now perform a restore – Insert the same memory card that was used for the backup. Then use Menu-Tools-Memory-Options-Restore…
4. Finally, the Mail for Exchange password must be re entered. It is not backed up for security reasons.
Unfortunately, in difficult cases, performing only step 2, then reinstalling Mail for Exchange may be the only solution.
Find the latest version of Mail for Exchange at: http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.com/activesync

• Text in the scheduling lines of a scheduling agreement.

hi,
is it possible to add text some where in the scheduling lines of a scheduling agreement (like how we can insert header text in the line item)??

yes.I agree with you that in all good processes schedules lines are automatically generated by MRP run.
On the other hand, some times due to incontigencies we are forced to manually add the schedule. At that time,my client wants to capture those incontigency reasons which he wants along with the schedule lines.
Please let me know whether SAP has got some way out for this issue.
Thanks.

I have subscribed to I Tunes Match on my computer where I've been syncing and backing up my I Phone.  Can I access my music before all the artwork is uploaded from my computer?

Hi,
You will no longer be able to sync manually with match. I would suggest that you wait until match has competed its process on your computer and that you are told how many tracks are in the cloud.
If you activate match on your iOS device too soon, you may find that all your tracks are not there. Ps it is not just artwork that is being uploaded, it's music as well.

• Scheduling a workbook where does the report write too?

I want to put some report jobs in the scheduler in the Discoverer desktop how can I tell Discoverer where to write the reports either in PDF or Excel format?
Thanks, So Much

Oracle9i Discoverer Administrator
Administration Guide
Version 9.0.2
January 2002
Part No. A90881-02
Chapter 8 Covers Scheduling Workbooks.
I copied this from PDF Page 151:
Where to store the results of scheduled workbooks?
Discoverer stores the results of scheduled workbooks in database tables. Before an
end user can schedule a workbook, you must decide which database user (schema)
is to own those tables. You have two choices as described in the table below:
The schema running the scheduled workbook:
The advantage of specifying the result set storage in the end user’s schema is that a database limit can be specified on the maximum amount of data an end user can store in the database. If the result set is stored under the end user’s schema, you keep control over the maximum amount of space one individual end user can fill with result sets. If the end user creates a scheduled workbook that fills the space, only that end user’s schema is affected.
A disadvantage is that it increases the maintenance overhead.
Note: Since Oracle Applications users often share the same secure database account, they are advised to create a scheduled workbook results schema to store the results of scheduled workbooks.
Scheduled workbook results schema:
The advantage of specifying the result set storage in a scheduled workbook results schema is that it is generally easier to manage than using multiple database user schemas. Also each end user does not need to set up
additional database privileges to run scheduled workbooks.
The disadvantage is that space quota is shared and so could be exhausted by a single end user.

• Where is the photos button in the new version of iTunes?  Need to sync photos from teh computer but photos buton doesn't exit or is hidden.

Where is the photo button in the new version of iTunes?  I need to sync photos from the computer?

On iTunes 11 you can re-enable the sidebar via View > Show Sidebar. To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you've enabled the sidebar), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you haven't enabled the sidebar, then from you library click 'iPad' at the top right of the screen and you should get a series of buttons along the top of the screen, including one for Photos

What I am saying is ..........
The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship  with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount  usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier
This is how O2 function and according to Gemma  this is how Vodafone work
