Where is the serial number located on the box??

So I purchased Adobe premiere elements 12 on GroupOn. Its came sealed in the mail. opened it up, thought everything was there. loaded the disc, it asked for the serial number......and I can't find it anywhere?!

You’ve posted your comment in the Adobe Creative Cloud forum. Adobe Creative Cloud doesn’t use serial numbers. Does this page help with determining what to do with the number you have:

I understand that you have also used the download link & serial number from Adobe - CS2 Downloads, if still the CS2 is not working, then please refer to the system requirement for e.g System requirements | Photoshop
The issue can be that the present operating system might not be compatible with the CS2.

Do you want your Mac's serial number? What model Mac? Click on the Apple in the top menu & select About This Mac. Then select More Info. The Serial number should be in the window that opens.

I purchased and downloaded Pages from the App Store on my Mac. Now it says that my 30-day trial is up, and that I need to enter my serial number. It said that I recieved an email with the serial number, but I checked my email and I searched through everything and there's no such email. What do I do? Where would my serial number be?

The iWork apps purchased & installed from the Mac App Store or from the retail DVD don't need a serial number. The problem is that now you need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

Where is my serial number on the Photoshop Elements 6. Not on box. Only a bar code sticker = which I tried and did not work either. Not inside on disk. not on inside cover of disk case. I purchased the product on Dec 31, 2007 at Staples. I installed on January 3, 2008. Now I can not reinstal without the serial number. I am very frustrated. I have been waiting for an answer for three days now. I tried everything on your web page help site. Still no serial number. Help.

If you had already installed PSE and registered it, you should be able to find your serial number by going to the main page of adobe.com, clicking on My Adobe (up at the top right side of the page last time I checked, but it moves around), then working your way down through the links there.

Two months ago I had to bend over backwords to find CS2 for Photoshop (The free one they offered years ago) And recently I upgraded my computer only to go through much hassle of acquiring the serial number. I participated and registered online with adobe. I have the copy of it on my Work Laptop. I have since then upgraded to a PC in January. With no issues I registered it on my PC. But due to a system restart, I needed CS2 again Mid-March. Having once found my serial number on adobe.com I installed it previously with much success. Now it seems the serial number I used before has gone missing. Leading me to think the serial number was temporary Or its as "Ned" claims and the server went buh-bye and I a left without any Photoshop tools on my PC. What are existing users supposed to do with CS2 if they get a new device now?? Because essentially that's whats happening to me.

I have the MegaWorks 550 and there is a white sticker on the bottom of my subwoofer next to the speaker cone. It should say "Cambridge SoundWorks" on it with the serial number on the next line and a bar code on the bottom line.

Where on the box is the serial number?

Several years ago, I had bought Final Cut Pro 5 studio bundle (Livetype, Motion, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro 4)
Final Cut Pro works fine on the old computer. It has worked from day one.
Recently, I've transferred (via firewire) all the files from the old G4 to a new Mac Pro that I've bought.
Now it wants a serial number. The issue is, I can't find any information about where you can find the serial number. I still have the black case with the handles (it has the bar code, a series of numbers and letters above the bar code, some small numbers) but it doesn't have anything that says "Serial number" on it. I've looked at my installation disks, and tried the numbers written on the CD, I've looked in the "getting started" guide and all of the final Cut Pro user guides, but can't find anything that says "Serial number" on it.
As an option, would the serial number be the number that shows up during the final cut pro "welcome" window (the one with the credits?)
Where (and which number) can I find that info in the available packaging?
Is there a way to find the serial number in the working version on my old computer, so that I might transfer the number over to the new computer? Obviously, I can't start up the program on the new computer until I find the serial number.
Come to think of it, I believe I remember that the serial number was hard to find when I first installed the program on the old computer as well.

You're absolutely right John, until it stops working. I never did a clean install until about a year ago. And I had done migrations and upgrades since my first 450mhz G4 and FCP1 (thru a dualgigG4 and my current sual2.5gigG5) . But things did finally get really weird and I bit the bullet and did the full clean install of OS and apps.
It's sometimes really hard to troubleshoot problems, and a clean wipe and install (and then cloning your stable OS/application combo) sometimes limits the areas you have to explore.
That said, Create a file with all your serial numbers (and do screen grabs of all your splash screens). Suddenly you're looking for the one serial number you can't find. NOT FUN. When I did my complete clean install, I couldn't find my fcp4.5 serial number which I needed to install an upgrade. Luckily I still had it installed on one partition and was able to grab it off the splash screen).
Oh, to give credit where credit is due. Jerry Hoffman's been singing this song for years. Do a clean install. I fought it for years, but I finally bought into the program.
