Where is the Server Behaviors, Bindings, Databases in dream weaver cc

Hi can anyone tell me how to get the Server Behaviors, Bindings, Databases in dream weaver cc
thanks

Free is outdated.  You assume all risk for it not working on upgraded servers.  Download the .ZXP Extension and install with Extension Manager CC

  • Server Behavior, Bindings and Components Panels [subject edited by moderator]

How do I get Server Behavior, Bindings and Components Panels and Database feature this is the most retarded program ever! I installed the extension manager, then it wanted the panel installed, which won't installed because of photoshop version. How in the hell do I get Server Behavior, Bindings and Components Panels and Database feature!!!

The Deprecated Server Behaviors were removed for good reason.  The code is woefully outdated and the old MySql connections won't work on servers with PHP 5.5 or higher.
    Which operating system?
    Which version of PS?
    Which version of DW?
    Which version of Extension Manager?
Replace Deprecated Server Behaviors with a modern commercial extension -- MySQLi (improved) or PDO:

  • Where is the server configuration data stored?

Where is the server configuration data stored?
    <P>
The data is stored an ASCII file named server.conf
. This file is stored in
the config directory on the same server-root as the iCS 2.0 binaries. The
    format of the server.conf
file is described in detail in the Administration
    Guide.

UME user data is stored in one or more data sources. Each type of data source has its own persistence adapter. The persistence manager consults the persistence adapters when creating, reading, writing, and searching user management data. Persistence adapters for the following types of repositories are available: 1. Database: See the Product Availability Matrix on SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com/pam60) for details on which databases are supported. 2. u2022 Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory: See the Product Availability Matrix on SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com/pam60) for details on which directories are supported. 3. SAP Systems based on Web Application Server 6.20 You can configure UME to use one or more of these persistence devices in parallel. Users can also be stored in several different physical LDAP directory servers, or in different branches of the same LDAP directory server.

  • DW CS6 Not allowed me to select again the + in the server behaviors

I worked with server behaviors normally yesterday but today it has not allowed me to work with them.
    - I work with the tables in the database.
    - I checked the site definition and is correct.
    - I work with links normally.
The system works normally, except the server behaviors.
What should I do to display the + in server behaviors?

    Hi, Ben:
The server is PHP and the document was opened with PHP.
I work with WAMP and the DB is MySql,  I checked that It was active and was working properly.
The connection to the DB was fine, also checked the site definition and it was good, I could work with everything in DW except the server behaviors. I turned off the system several times, because it could have been any open document, which avoiding the continuity of my work, but every time the problem was there.
Today was concerned that the work I have to deliver is short in time and I have to say, by some miracle of God, the system is working well now, but I am very nervous because if the problem happens again, I do not know which is the solution.
    Thanks a lot.

  • In Dreamweaver CS6, the Plus (+) button in the Server Behaviors panel is greyed out. How do I make it operational?

I am trying to restrict access to a page by redirecting unauthorized users to another page. The Adobe manual instructs me to:
Open the page you want to protect.
In the Server Behaviors panel (Window > Server Behaviors), click the Plus button and select User Authentication > Restrict Access To Page from the pop‑up menu.
I opened the page and went to the Server Behaviors panel.
Unfortunately, the Plus button is greyed out and not operational. How do I make the Plus button operational so that I can then select User Authentication, etc?
    Charlie

You can't apply server behaviors to pages that don't contain (or are specified to be when they are created) server scripting. That means they must have the proper filename extension, e.g., filename.php or filename.aspx/

  • The Server Behavior panel cannot determine whether "Command" or "Recordset (Query)" ...

Suddenly getting this goofball message in DW5.5 on Win7:
"The Server Behavior panel cannot determine whether "Command" or "Recordset (Query)" is applied to your page. Please select Edit Server Behaviors and change one of the two behaviors to ensure that each is uniquely identifiable."
Crazy thing is, it only happens on my workstation.
DW5.5 on my laptop opens the same .asp pages without this crazy message popping up.
Anybody know what the issue is?

I'd suggest that no answer means no answer yet. The person who can help may not have been on the forum the day the post was made.
That said, I'm starting to suspect that the cause must be an extension. Both boxes have the same version of DW and the same OS but both don't have the exact same extensions installed. Will play around and see what happens.

  • What/where is the "server address" for the My Cloud NAS?

I recently purchased a 2TB My Cloud NAS to store my FLAC music files (many thousands of them). I'm trying to use JRiver as a media controller but I can't find a path to the files. I'm using a Macbook Air (osx 10.10.4). The controller program asks for a "server address" and I have no idea what it is or where I may find an address. The music files are in the Public folder and there is no other identiification for it as far as I know. One forum suggested the following link : http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2686/~/how-to-map-a-wd-network-drive-on-a-mac This link offers several suggestions for a server address, but they are for My Book units and of course they don't work. Where, or how do I get a server address for my files on a My Cloud unit? I'm lost. I would appreciate any help. Thank you for your time.     Bill

    Welcome to the Community.
In most cases, the Server Address is the current path that leads to the devices and/or shared folders. This means the IP address of your unit or your device name, and depending on your system, the exact location to the share with your data. You can obtain the current IP address used by your WD My Cloud in your router and also in your NAS's admin page.

  • Where is the Server Assistant?

One thing that has really been rubbing me the wrong way about Lion Server is the lack of accuracy in the migration documentation. It refers to the "Server Assistant", but I don't encounter it running anywhere, and when I reinstall the server, it doesn't ask me if I want to migrate settings.
I have an old XSERVE G4 with 10.5.8 Leopard Server, and the documentation (http://images.apple.com/macosx/server/docs/Upgrading_and_Migrating_v10.7.pdf) states on page 26 that I need to utilize the Server Assistant (not the Migration Assistant) to migrate my data on my 10.5 server to 10.7.
I have reinstalled and played around with various scenarios over 10 times now, and have come up empty, unable to resolve this issue. Does anyone have any ideas, or accomplished this successfully yet?
    Thanks in advance!
    ~Mike

Okay, so the Migration document is incorrect about what triggers the Server Assistant (or at least the process doesn't work as documented-it looks like the Server.app install doesn't remove the correct file).
But the solution to get it to work is pretty simple:
    - Have the Server components installed.
    - boot into single-user mode.
at the command line run the following:
    mount -uw /
rm /var/db/AppleSetupDone.something (I don't recall the extension, but tab completion will fill it out)
Reboot and (I believe this requires having a valid 10.5.8-10.6.8 or greater server drive attached) the Assistant won't be the standard client Migration Assistant, but the Server Assistant and you will be asked if you want to migrate.
Transfer and go (haven't gotten that far yet, it's still in progress, but at least it's going). No idea if this will actually work, particularly given the other issues, but at least it's a start.

  • Where should the server go for VPN?

I need to setup and VPN to a mac mini server at work from a windows PC and there doesn't seem to be a definitive guide on setting this up so I have a couple of questions. We do have a static IP address. Currently the setup is Internet > DSL > Router (set as DHCP) > Mac mini.
    1. Does the mac mini need to go before the router or can it go after the router?
    2. If after the router, do I need to set the server to a static IP and set up port forwarding on the router?
    3. What is best (PTPP, L2TP,etc)
    Any suggestions are aprreciated.
    Thanks

    1. Does the mac mini need to go before the router or can it go after the router?
The Mini cannot terminate a DSL connection. It only has an ethernet port, therefore there's no way to connect the Mini directly to the DSL.
The DSL link will have to go to the router first.
    2. If after the router, do I need to set the server to a static IP and set up port forwarding on the router?
    Yes.
    3. What is best (PTPP, L2TP,etc)
Take your pick. For most purposes they're equally capable. Much of your choice will depend on the client - if you have a client that only supports one or the other, then that will dictate your choice. Or enable both for maximum compatibility.

  • Where are the server tokens explained?

I can't find any detailled explanation of the server tokens which can be used in the service configuration files (for example, {server.name} and {server.port}).
    * List of available tokens
    * How do I use them?
    * How are they replaces (which values, server dependencies, ...)?

Thanks for the question. We need to add that information to the doc, but in the meantime, here's a brief explanation of how these tokens work.
You can use the server tokens when your SWF file is called from the app server that hosts the web app on which the BlazeDS server is running. The values in the tokens are automatically replaced with actual values that match server, port, etc. from which the SWF was loaded.

  • Where is the server address and port stored that is configured in NI License Manager?

    Hi,
I am trying to configure a silent installation of LabView.  I have tried the specfile and put in the license code etc..  I cannot see a place there to configure a license server address.
I've run NI License Manager on a reference PC and have configured one there but how can I deploy that config to a number of PCs?  How is it stored and where is it stored?
    thanks
    Paul

    Last question (I promise)
If I dont have a volume license how do I determine what my 'package' or 'family' is?
    Package
    Syntax: nilmUtil.exe -activate "packagename version"
    Example: nilmUtil.exe -activate "LabVIEW_PDSM_PKG 8.0500"
    Family
    Syntax: nilmUtil.exe -family "family"
    Example: nilmUtil.exe -family "LabVIEW_ADE_080600"

  • Where is the Server 2012r2 STANDARD Evaluation Download?

    Hello,
I am looking to evaluate Server 2012r2, and am planning on purchasing a STANDARD license.
The only EVAL I am able to find is for Server 2012r2 DATACENTER Edition - not standard:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/evalcenter/dn205286.aspx
Thank you in advance for any assistance which you can provide regarding this matter.
    - Kaleb

Yes, a volume licensing agreement extends additional benefits.  One is to install ANY Microsoft licensed software for evaluation purposes using your volume media.  The second is that your license agreement has a 'true up'.  What this means
is that you can install as many copies of Microsoft software as you want into your production environment.  At your licnesing anniversary date, you will simply have to pay a true-up cost for any additional software you were not paying for.
Volume licensed software such as Windows Server, by default will look for a KMS to activate, so it never asks for an activation key.  If you have KMS installed in your environment, an image installed from volume media will automatically activate.
If you are relying on MAK keys, then you will need to use the MAK to activate.  In either case, on the anniversary of your licensing agreement is when you will end up paying for it.
As with all licensing issues, you should always talk to a trained Microsoft licensing specialist to ensure you are getting the proper information.

  • Why Dreamweaver CC delete Databases, Bindings and Server Behaviors (PHP/MySQL)

I installed Dreamweaver CC on my laptop and notice that Dreamweaver CC has no Binding, Server Behaviors and Database.
A lot of my project get done by these feature (Binding, Server Behaviors and Database.), mostly for the website mock up for my clients.
Why Dreamweaver these features? We need these feature back...
For the liquid layout I don't like it, I prefer to use bootstrap then Dreamweaver feature.
Dreamweaver CC just change Dreamweaver into CSS editor comparing to previous version.

I'm not a spokesperson for Adobe.  I just use the products.
DW CC extensions use .zxp files.  Formerly, CS extensions used .mxp files.  It's imperative that you use the correct Extension Manager version for your version of  DW.
    CS5 = CS5 extension manager
    CS5.5 = CS5.5 extension manager
    CS6 = CS6 extension manager
CC = CC extension manager and so on...
    http://www.dmxzone.com/go/21842/enable-server-behaviors-and-data-bindings-panel-support-fo r-dreamweaver-cc/
There have been exhaustive discussions in this forum about the deprecated server-behaviors and Adobe's decision to remove them from CC -- presumably to discourage people from using them anymore. If you want to continue using SBs, do so at your own risk since Adobe no longer officially supports or endorses them.  And if you can't get the extension from DMZone above to load in CC, your fallback is to use CS6.

  • OT: Bindings panel, Databases, and Server behaviors in Dreamweaver CC

    Hi all,
There was a query on the Dreamweaver Facebook page about using server behaviors in Dreamweaver going forward. The product team replied to the post, and I am posting it on this forum for the benefit of users not on our Facebook page.
In Dreamweaver cc release server behaviors will be available as an extension. Once you install the extension server behaviors feature will be enabled and extensions dependent on it will work as before. In the CC release, you can find the extension at the location
    * Vista/Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC\Configuration\DisabledFeatures
    * Mac OS X: /Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CC/Configuration/DisabledFeatures

The Dreamweaver team has posted their view about the latest changes in Dreamweaver in their blog post  http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2013/06/a-look-at-the-modernized-dreamweaver-cc.html
    Thanks,
    Preran

I am sorry to say so, but your disappointing blog post just tells us two things:
You claim that you are listening to your users, but you have just proved you don’t. Despite the high volume of disappointment expressed through the comments to previous posts of this blog, through comments in Dreamweaver Help or through the Community Forum, you show no change of direction, nor any will to cater for the disrupted workflow that Dreamweaver CC is introducing. Instead, you are just producing blog posts that desperately try to prove us that you are “streamlining” and “modernizing” Dreamweaver. An extension that brings back half of the features is not a strong-enough signal that you have taken into account our needs. Extensions written by third parties which you claim are alternatives but are not resemble more leg-pulling than anything else. Will you reduce Dreamweaver’s price for the removal of killer features that were sold with the software before?
You do not seem to know how Dreamweaver users use the software or at least, to be fair, how a large number of users do. I thought the aim of software makers was to sell a tool that aids its clients in, and brings value to, their work.
As an extension writer, I can tell that the vast majority of my users are either DIY guys or professionals working on their own. Not big companies with teams of developers. The majority of those never have been Dreamweaver users and will never be, having different needs and ways of working.
As responses to your “streamlining” and “modernization” of Dreamweaver have shown, for a large number of users, the strength of Dreamweaver lies in its extensibility, of which server behaviors are the most advanced feature. I am not talking about the code they write, which we all agree has to be updated (and we have been waiting this for a number of releases, now…), I am talking about their very mechanism, which allow us to write our code and use Dreamweaver to speed up our job by helping us to write it again, faster, without errors, visually.
No other tool offers this possibility. Without server behaviors and database support, Dreamweaver is simply not worth its price…
Obviously, you are the ones with the real figures and only you can tell if it is a strategic decision or a big mistake. I was a bit surprised though by the number of voices that rose after the Dreamweaver CC release, so I tend to think that Mr. Adobe would not be that pleased by the loss of a good number of faithful clients. But then at least, be honest enough to tell us if you intend to drop a part of long-term users, and stop serving us your commercial soup…
    Now, what will happen?
You still refuse to listen to the numerous voices who have called against your decision to remove useful features to us, and in this case, we will act accordingly: we are big enough, we do not need your blatant propaganda even by the product manager himself to decide whether Dreamweaver CC will still be worth its high price into our workflow, if the new features will outweigh the loss of server behaviors and database support. If not, of course, we will not upgrade just because you are marketing the supposedly wonderful new features, and we will turn to other tools, with features that will help us improve our workflow in other ways. And goodbye Adobe, we do not trust you anymore… It is as simple as that.
You show us you really are listening to your customers and you bring back updated server behaviors and database support. In this case, we will know that we can trust Adobe again, that you do listen to us, and will applaud with both hands.
And, more important to you, we will have a valid reason to upgrade and we will. Come on guys, our productivity is at stake, but your jobs may be in the line too…
