Where is the theme sound?

When I create a new movie (iMovie 10.0.2) and select a theme, there is no sound in the timeline.  Where is the sound track from the theme?

I just assumed that the sound track that was in the Theme chooser would accompany the transitions.  OK, I guess not.  I found a good sound track to use in my iTunes library.

  • Where are the Theme Images

    Hi,
I am using the Watercolour these at the moment, but want to change the colours of the images - is there an easy way to do this?
Where are the image files located?
    Thanks
    Rich

The theme packages are located in the application itself: iWeb/Contents/Resources/Themes folder. You'd have to open that particular package and see if you can modify the colors. I would make a backup copy of your iWeb application just in case.

  • IOS 7 Where's the unlock sound gone?

Anyone know where the unlock sound has gone in iOS7? Is it a mistake or deliberately removed in this version?

    Hi Spec_d,
To change the audio settings on the vision box please try the following:
Press BT Vision on the remote
    Scroll right to Settings
    Press Select
    Select general settings
Highlight and select 'Digital audio output' from the options
Current Audio output is shown by the tick displayed next to the appropriate option
To change the audio output type, navigate to 'Stereo'. A tick will move to the desired audio output method selected. To confirm the changes made, highlight 'Save' and press select.
Let me know if this has helped you at all.
    Cheers

  • Where is the startup sound file?

I recently changed my Mail Sent.aiff to another sound by replacing the file with another more appropriate sound (I never liked the swoosh).
I also don't like the fact that the Mac wakes up my wife whenever I turn it on in the morning due to the gong sound. I haven't been able to find a way to change sound through the interface so I was thinking that I might just swap the sound file for it as I did for Mail Sent.
Can someone tell me where I'd find that file in the OS?
    TIA,
    David

Actually, yes, it would affect all sounds if you only have internal speakers. It would not affect external speakers. The internal speaker volume setting remains in effect until you change it.
If you use internal speakers only, you could use the second script (e.g. with volume set at 100) in an AppleScript application run as a login item. The tricky part is running the first script (for full mute) at shutdown. The way I do that is to run a background stay-open AppleScript app as a login item that mutes the volume at shutdown (or restart), as follows.
    on quit
do shell script "osascript -e 'set volume with output muted'" password "yourPassword" with administrator privileges
          continue quit
    end quit
I can also provide a script to make it a background app if you like.

  • Having a problem printing photos from Iphoto.  Seems that "themes" are required in order to accomplished the task.  Where are the Themes found?

Where can I find the themes, possibly formats, for printing photos for Iphotos?  Are these still being used or have they been upgraded to another program such as ilife?

You'll need to reinstall iPhoto.  If you MBP came with Lion preinstalled move the iPhoto applicaiton to the Trash bin in the Dock, go to the App Store, go to Purchases, download and reinstall iPhoto.

  • Where is the themes folder?

Had to re-install iDvd but it keep asking for this folder, how do I find it and where do I put it?

Well, I need to start from the beginning. I installed Snow Leopard. This screwed up my iMovie 6 program, as was later confirmed by others. I then re-installed Leopard, using the erase procedure. After doing that I tried to access Time Machine backups to bring my computer back to the exact place it was prior to installing Snow Leopard. I couldn't access the backups. So I went to the backups folder and copied the appropriate backup to my Mac HD drive. This is when my iDvd themes "disappeared." I located the themes folder in the copied Applications Support/iDvd file and moved it to the new Application Support folder. That didn't work. Then someone in the Discussions Forum stated you need to click the Time Machine icon in the dock while pressing Control. This brought up a sub-menu and you click on "browse other Time Machine disks." First you insert the Leopard install disc, then browse other backup disks, locate the backup you want to restore, go to the Utilites heading at the top bar and click on restore system. The rest is done automatically by the program and voila! You get your computer back exactly the way it was before, including all the iDvd themes.

  • Can someone tell me, Where are the theme movies stored?

    Hi all,
I am trying to find the quicktime files where the themes are stored on my mac.
The themes are quicktime movies are the not?
I just want to watch them without opening iDVD.
    Thanks

I always worry about telling people where to look because the potential to 'screw things up' is pretty great!
Do the below at your own risk!
Example Path info (many of these items require control-clicking on an item and selecting 'Show Package Contents')
    Library>Application Support>iDVD>Themes>iDVD6>Travel-Main.theme>Contents>Resources and you willl see TravelBackground.NTSC.mov

    Thorsten,
All files are in XDB. You can access them using the instructions described in this thread:

  • Where are the theme files?

I paid out a lot of money for 3rd party themes. After Time Machine has failed on top of various other disasters involving reinstalls etc., I have lost all the extras on my MacBook Pro. Luckily they are still there on my iMac - at least they are available to choose in the Theme drop down menu - but I cannot find the associated theme files to copy across to the laptop. I have looked in /Library/Application Support/Keynote and in the Shared Users folder. There does not appear to be anything in my home folder. I do a Spotlight search for the theme names and nothing is found - yet I can see and use the themes in Keynote. How can I track down where the theme files themselves are hiding, so as to be able to copy them over to my other computer?

They should be in either the user or global Application Support folder. Looking in my global AS folder, I find an iWork folder which has a Keynote folder inside. There are a couple themes there. Same is true of my personal AS Folder.
iWork '08 now stores its own themes in the program packages but I assume even new 3rd party themes are still going into one of the two AS folders.

  • Where did the Aux sound input go?

First time I installed Windows XP on my new setup (see sig), I had the sound from the DVB-S card mapped to the Auxiliary input on the Playback control panel.
The sound for this input was going through the PCI bus - I didn't have any analogue audio cable.
Now I've had to reinstall XP and I no longer seem to have the auxiliary input available - it just isn't listed.
I'm running the newer drivers from MSI's website version 5.12.1.506 dated 28/04/2005
Any ideas why this has gone? I will try installing the drivers from the CD that came with the motherboard to see if it's a driver version thing, but I wouldn't have thought so.

    Hi,
Inside the audio output socket there is a small microswitch which is enabled when you insert the headphone jack. Of course, when you remove the jack it's meant to deactivate thus allowing you to use the internal speakers again. It appears that, in your case, it's stuck in the active position which is why you are seeing the red L.E.D. light shining through.
Try inserting and removing the headphone jack a few times. Others have also had success by, carefully, using a paperclip or toothpick.
