Where is the toolbar

No toolbar. Conflict with earlier version?

Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
     User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

  • Where are the toolbar icons located on a mac

I want to find out where the toolbar icons are found in the OSX.
The ones that  I am refereing to are those found in finder windows at the top, that show things like the quickview icon etc.
I want to be able to make my own for scripts that I want to place in the bar, so if anyone knows where I can download a template etc I would be very grateful
    Many Thanks
    Matt

You create an alias in the top bar of the Finder window simply by dragging the source file onto the middle area of the bar. What you'll get for a script file I'm not sure, but if it's not to your taste it should be possible to change the icon of the source file in the 'get info' window and then re-drag it to the toolbar.
To remove items from there, you need to hold down the command key (⌘) while dragging to the desktop (same goes for sidebar).

  • Where is the TOOLBAR menu?

Can't find the toolbar menu or the help drop-down.

Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

  • Where is the toolbar that has bold, italic and underline icons?

Customizing does not have a bold, italic, or underline icons. I need these.

Firefox doesn't have a toolbar that include such buttons.<br />
The editor on the web page need to supply such buttons just like you see on this forum just above the text area where you enter a reply.

  • Where is the TOOLBAR on this webpage I do not see it

TOOL for clearing history, to make adjustments etc On IE the tool button was located at the top right hand corner

Helpful, yes and no. The TOOLS I am talking about give me the availability to change settings, delete history, what I want to adjust on my computer, it might be the same thing, but I tried all the options, it did not bring up all the tools, like my certifications, general settings, etc. Sorry I am not the greatest person when it comes to change, because Norton would not allow me to open IE and now, on the the top places I visit, it is asking me to update IE?

  • Read Mail button on the toolbar doesn't open my default mail program

I've just reinstalled Firefox 17.0.1 (and everything else) following a crash. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, with Windows Mail (not Live Mail) set as the default email program and I've added a Read Mail button to the Firefox toolbar: all this is exactly as it was before the crash. Windows Mail is selected in Tools/Options/Applications/mailto, and also runs perfectly from its desktop icon.
However, clicking on Read Mail doesn't open Windows Mail as it used to.
I get the message "The application could not be found, please use Toolbar Buttons's options window to correct this". I'm not clear on what it is I'm being directed to do. What and where is the "Toolbar Buttons's options window"?
    Many thanks.

That did it. Thanks very much indeed.

  • My toolbar is missing and there is a button where it used to be that says "Please re-install the Toolbar" but when I click on it nothing happens? Also when I start Firefox I get a script running error how do I solve these issues?

My toolbar is missing and there is a button at the top left that asks me to "Please re-install the Toolbar" but when I click on it nothing happens???
Then when I start Mozilla I get a long delay before it launches and a script running error "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
    Script: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595"
How do I solve these issues???

what version of iPHoto do you have? Of the OS? is the iPhoto icon you are speaking of in the Dock?

Somehow my "IPhoto" icon now says "Preview".  When I click on "Preview" nothing opens up except the bar says Preview.  When I click on the Preview on the bar, a box opens up with different items, except when I click on any of them, there is nothing there.  The only thing that work is the "quit preview".  However, it is still there where my IPhoto icon should be.  I can't get into my IPhoto.  How do I get rid of this "Preview" and how did it end up taking over the IPhoto icon???
If you go to your Applications folder and double click on iPhoto what happen?

    Hello,
Sometimes toolbars are missing because they are hidden, you just need to bring them back up. Visit this article to learn how to bring them back: [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]]. You can learn tips and tricks at the same time.

i want to copy and past 58 links from my IE favorites into the bookmarks toolbar...not one at a time. where's the folder i can copy these too?
    == This happened ==
    Not sure how often
== i want to copy and past 58 links from my IE favorites into the bookmarks toolbar...not one at a time. where's the folder i can copy these too?

Firefox doesn't store the bookmarks as separate files in a folder, but uses a sqlite database file with the name places.sqlite.
You will have to export those favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox.
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML : "From File"

  • Where is the new tab toolbar button in firefox 6x

in firefox 4.x there is a toolbar button for new tab, where is the button in firefox 6.x?
can this be downloaded as a add-on or theme?

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window.
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.

  • Where is the "zoom in/zoom out" Toolbar option ? It is not listed in Customize

Where is the "zoom in/zoom out" Toolbar option ? It is not listed in Customize features.

Normally you will see three buttons along the top of the menu panel (the panel that opens when you click the "3-bar" button). They would look something like:
    - | 100% | +
These are a unit, so you can right-click any part of that and Move to Toolbar. Or to drag and drop it to a specific place on the toolbar, you can first use Customize. This article has details on that: [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]].
    Success?
Note: the center button shows the current zoom level, but when you click it, it resets. There isn't a built-in way to type the percentage you want.

  • Have msg on header: Firefox is not able to show the Toolbar. Please re-install the Toolbar. I cannot figure out how to re-install the Toolbar, nor exactly where to go to find it for download.

There is a message on my Firefox header that says: "Firefox is not able to show the Toolbar. Please re-install the Toolbar." I would like to re-install the Toolbar, but don't know where to locate it for download. It has conveniences I use frequently & I'd like to get it back. Thank you for your help.

Firefox has a couple of built-in toolbars, but if it mentions re-installing, it probably is an add-on toolbar. Do you know which one it was, e.g., Google, Yahoo, etc.? It might be on your extensions list here:
    Tools > Options > Extensions

  • The toolbar is missing a LOT of features. For instance, where is th refresh button?

I can't find the refresh button on the toolbar. The new toolbar is missing a lot of buttons that I had on my previous version of Firefox.

Right-click a toolbar and select Customize
    while Customize window is open.
Look to the far right end of Location (address) bar
Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar or where else you want them.
Set them as Reload|Stop to get a combined button.
If you prefer to have them separated then you can also have a flexible space in between if you want it as Reload|Stop order or set set them as Stop|Reload.
    Then click Done.
No toolbar buttons are actually removed or missing as they are either on a toolbar somewhere or in Customize window.

  • Firefox crashes every time I open it, within seconds, so I can't fix anything in the toolbars (if that's where the problem is).

Every time I open Firefox, even in Safe Mode, it crashes within 5 seconds. It's not enough time to make changes in the toolbars at top. The page says "Well, this is embarrassing..." and when it crashes it takes me to Mozilla Crash Reporter. I opened Fontbook, eliminated bad fonts, and that didn't help. I'm working on a Mac OS X 10.8.4 and Chrome works fine. There don't appear to be any malware problems. I've looked through all the help forums and none of them have contained suggestions that solve my problem.

Hello SEHW, we're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing when you open it. Please do the following to give us crash IDs that will help us understand more about the crash.
#Click the '''Finder''' icon in the dock. On the menu bar, click the '''Go''' menu, hold down the '''option''' or '''alt''' key and select '''Library'''. A window will open containing your Library folder. Then open the "Application Support" folder, the "Firefox" folder, the "Crash Reports" folder and finally the "submitted" folder.
#Open the 5 most recent files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
#Paste each ID with '''bp-''' into the reply window on the forums.
    Thanks in advance!
