Where is the toolbox?

How can I display the toolbox in Premier Elements 9? Example: I want to crop a video clip and I cannot find out how to display the toolbox. One of the tutorial videos for an earlier version of Premier Elements shows how to use the tools, but not how to get into or display the toolbox.

Yes, that Toolbox is in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, and is usually in the upper-left of the program's screen (the default location).
For Video, I feel that the best programs are Premiere (either Pro, or Elements), though Photoshop-Extended has added Video capabilities available. There can be some reasons for working on some aspects of Video in Photoshop, but for general Video editing, it pales compared to either Premiere program.
It is sort of like Premiere handling some aspects of Still Images, but either Photoshop program is by far the better choice there, and for almost ALL Image manipulation operations, nothing will be better, than Photoshop. I constantly use Photoshop (never have had Photoshop Elements) for ALL of my Still Image work, and though I have Photoshop-Extended CS 6, use Premiere (either Elements or Pro) for ALL of my Video work. I also use my Adobe After Effects (AE) program, where needed. Though Premiere Pro can do some of the same things, often AE is the best choice, with more power, control and functions. For me, it is choosing the "right tool for the job."
Now, if you have a Still Image, and wish to Crop it, here are three suggestions:
Do the Crop (and any Scaling) in Photoshop/Photoshop Elements, then Import that altered Image into PrE.
Place the Image onto the Timeline in Premiere, and let the Frame Size of the Project effectively "crop" the Image.
One can also apply the Crop Effect to a Still Image on the Timeline, but I like the other two options better.
If you have Video, then the Crop Effect (to adjust that Effect, with the Clip Selected, go to Effects>Edit Effects, and change the parameters in the Crop Effect, as is required.
In Premiere, many Effects are similar to Tools, Filters and Adjustments, found in Photoshop, but are designed for Video.

From the Toolbox, select the Paint bucket tool
In the Paint bucket options at the top, change from "Foreground" to "Pattern".
Click on the Pattern block to the right and the Pattern dialog will pop up.

Where is the Crop tool in CS6?

I used to use the Rectangular Marquee to crop an image, but that is no longer an option. Where is the Crop tool? I tried to use instructions at Photoshop Help | Adjusting crop, rotation, and canvas but that did not help. It never did tell you how to crop an image.

Why?
Make the Selection, then use Image > Crop if you want to use that Tool.
The Crop Tool still has the single-key-shorcut C, so depending on your settings hitting C or shift-C repeatedly should select the Tools with which the Crop Tool shares a space in the Toolbox in turn.

Grouped in the same slot as the other shape tools.
Click and hold on the shape icon in the toolbox to reveal the hidden tools.
The little black arrow beside most of the icons in the toolbox means there are hidden tools grouped in the same slot.

Where is the line tool in Elements 12? I used this a lot in Elements 7.

I cannot find the line tool in Elements 12. I cannot draw lines with arrows at all. Does anyone know what happened?

Are you using Premiere Elements 12 or Photoshop Elements 12? And, on what computer operating system is the program running?
If you are talking about Premiere Elements 12/12.1, there is a line tool in the Shape section of the program's Titler. No arrows however unless
you try to draw them in with additional maneuvers of the line tool there.
If you are referring to the line tool in Photoshop Elements 12. The line tool is in with a group of tools.
In the screenshot, look to where I have the red arrow pointing in the toolbox. If it is not displaying there as the line tool, then click on it, which brings up the Options Bar for that tools group. Then select line tool in that Options Bar. The line tool options will be displayed in the Option Bar.
In the above screenshot, the custom shape tool was showing originally in the toolbox, with its options in the Options Bar. And, I next clicked on the line tool in the Options
Bar to use change the choice to use it and its options..

HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 551dn - where did the drivers go?

I go to the download page to download the drivers for this 551dn. I download all windows 7, 8, 8.1, 2008, 2012, so that i can put them on my print server. I downloaded them from here..

I get the file downloaded (LJEnt-color-M551-Drv-no-installer_12297.exe), i run it, get the security warning and Run. the file extracts - then POOF, the installer is gone.
where did the files go? They aren't on the root of the C: drive, a folder/files were not created on my desktop, no files or folder created in my downloads folder.
I was never asked for a file save location.... ??? really? is this this basic stuff?
Where are the files? this $$$ printer is a brick until i get drivers!

UPDATE- I FOUND THE FILES!!
First of all, HP... i'm not impressed.
All the files for all the drivers are in a series of temp folders...

There is no change to this problem after 6 months since the last post. Put simply, and as stated in the previous posts, there is no way to scan a document and receive the image on your PC. If you are working with graphics for any length of time or want to create an image for inclusion as an image in a document or web page using this piece of equipment will not allow you to do so.
Great shame as every other function works well - it cannot be beyond the wit of HP to include a Windows application that enables you to scan an image, receive it in the software you are using at the time (e.g. Outlook, Word, Photoshop...) and use it in your work.
HP Printers several years older than this £1000+ Enterprise printer were able to do this simple job and have done so for a great many years. Just being able to use Microsoft's Fax and Scan would be start.

Sometimes I can't get out of Day view in iCal. There is no where on the screen to select month view, even when I close it out and go back into iCal.

Sometimes I am locked in "day" view in iCal. There is no where on the screen to choose "month" view, even when I close it out and open again. Tapping anywhere on the screen or scrolling doesn't help.

Give this a try:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder: User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try full screen again.
NOTE: For Mavericks and Yosemite, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

Where did the Stream 7 drivers go?

The support page for downloading drivers for the HP Stream 7 tablet (any model) has disappeared from the HP website.
Navigating to the HP Stream 7 support page, Selecting "Software and Drivers", then "Go directly to software and drivers page", Operating System "Windows", then Version "Windows 8.1" (the only choices), then clicking the Update button, gives a message "No software or drivers are available for this product with the selected operating system. Please make a different selection, or visit the product homepage. " This happens using Firefox, IE 11, or Chrome.
These drivers have been missing for at least a few weeks, and multiple forum users have also had no luck finding them. Before that time the drivers seemed to come and go randomly, but they've stayed missing now for weeks. One dorum user has posted direct FTP links to the drivers, and they might be the latest version, but not really sure.
Where did the drivers go, HP?

How do I figure where is the data in a materialized view coming from

Hi: when I run select NAME, OWNER from dba_mview_refresh_times, I see a number of materialized views. How do I find more details about this view i.e where is the data coming from and which fields. The source table that is in another database changed. But the view on my database where the materialized view exist has not changed. I want to confirm from where is data coming in this view
