??,i cant find it at jdk bin ,or jre bin too?

im assuming your operating system has a SEARCH feature?
(1) open windows explorer
(2) navigate to the C: drive
(3) right click
(4) choose "search"
(5) type in "tools.jar"
(6) wait
heres a hint: its in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0\lib

On a Windows machine they are located in Owner/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/XMP. I have some templates that I want to copy from a Windows laptop over to a Macbook Pro.

I’m on Mac OS 10.6.8 and there it seems to be
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/XMP/Metadata Templates
I think as of OS 10.7 Macintosh hides the Library, but one can get there by alt-clicking the Go-menu and selecting it from there … or something.

They are all stored in the iPhoto Library. You would need to examine its contents to see them separately (outside of iPhoto).
