Where is the worksheet description?

Hi,
I created a workbook in Discoverer Plus with a description for the workbook and specific descriptions for the worksheets. When I go in Discoverer viewer and I check the workbooks' list, I see that my workbook has his description but the worksheets in it have a blank instead of the worksheets' descriptions. Is there an option to "turn on" to see thoses worksheets' descriptions in Discoverer Viewer?
Thanks!
Mathieu

Hi Mathieu
I don't believe the scaling from Plus is applied in Viewer. You have to do that yourself in Viewer itself. This is because only the real end user knows what their printer settings should be like.
Viewer has what is called fine grained printing but the print set ups need to be done in Viewer. To control this you use Printable Page in the Options menu on the side of the report then use the Content and Page Setup tabs to control the print layout.
Does this make sense and have you tried it?
Best wishes
Michael

    Hi,
Venodor Name is in the Table LFA1 and field is LFA1-NAME1.
if it is Blank you can take the ADRNR from LFA1 and go to ADRC table with ADRNR and get the Name from ADRC table.

  • Where is the batch description in the new Photo?

Where is the batch editing description and title we used in iPhoto? I did find how to edit description in a single image, but where is the batch? I really need it in my workflow, having to expor lots of photo's on a daily basis to external corporate systems, that sort on descriptions.

There was a post that discussed some ability to automate titles based on filenames:
    Where are photo file names?
From that inspiration I wrote this little Applescript that will take all items selected, ask you for a description, and then apply it to all selected:
    tell application "Photos"
      activate
      set imageSel to (get selection)
      if imageSel is {} then
      error "Please select an image."
      else
set theAnswer to text returned of (display dialog "Title:" default answer "")
      repeat with im in imageSel
-- set the name of im to theAnswer
set the description of im to theAnswer
      end repeat
      end if
    end tell
you can see from the commented out line that you could do the titles (names) as batches the same way.
I haven't finished it out yet, but wanted to post it here to give you a start. I have tested it on a handful of items, so I know it at least works. You could save this as an app from within applescript editor, and then just run it after making a selection, or you could paste it into an automator action and tie it to the services menu as mentioned in the forum post above.
Photos luckily does seem to have applescript hooks for the following when dealing with a "media item" - looks like you can add/edit most of the metdadata you have access to in the GUI. I initially missed this when I looked, so was very glad to see the forum post that pointed me in  the right direction.

  • On Flash Gallery, where does the Description wind up?

    Lightroom 2.4.  Mac OS X 10.4.11
I am using flash web templates which are based on, and similar to, the default flash gallery.  The Collection Description is "Web Photo Gallery created by Adobe Lightroom."  If I change that text, I see that my template name is no longer selected, indicatiing that this is in fact, a change. as I would suspect.
But where the heck is that text in the web page?  I didn't see the default one, and I don't see my changed version.
In my browser, I looked at the source, and I do not see that text as a meta description either.
Where does it wind up?  What is the feature for, if it creates neither visible text or meta text?
    Dean

On the top left corner of the gallery page you should see an item labelled View. Click on the label to expose a context menu. The last option on the context menu is About these Photos. Clicking on this option should expose the description.

  • Where do I see the errors descriptions????

First I deploy a Mapping in the Deployment Manager (all its OK) and then I execute it.
The mapping collects data from a table and put it in a flat file.
In the Execution results I see in the Summary:
    Completion Status Completed with errors.
    Row Activity
    Mapping1… Inserted 0, Updated 0, Deleted 0, Merged 0.
Where do I see the errors descriptions????

    Claudio,
You can use the runtime audit browser to see the descriptions:
From the program menu, Warehouse Builder:
    - invoke Start OWB OC4J instance
    - invoke OWB Runtime Audit browser
    - connect to your runtime repository, using the access user credentials, and click 'view execution report'
    - drill down to the details of the execution
    Hope this helps,
    Mark.

  • Where is the B1 field that contains the ITEM DESCRIPTION in the ecommerce

Is there a place in B1 where we can put in the ITEM DESCRIPTION?
I lookever all over but I don't think the ITEM description in the ecommerce side exists in B1.
    Mike

Mike, I think you might be referring to the Part Name (which is really the description), "PartsMaster.PartName," from Web Tools. If so, the matching field in B1 is Item Name, "OITM.ItemName."

  • Where is the Unloading Point ABLAD description?

    All,
I currently extract the unloading point code via the field ABLAD in table MSEG. The problem is that this returns just a numeric code. I believe there is a table somewhere that has the text description but I'm not aware of the table name. Does anybody have any ideas what it could be?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Regards,
    PP

    Hi,
I guess we dont create any unloading points and assign it to plant and SL and use it during GR.
We enter Unloading point in MIGO in where tab is just the description of place Specifying  the point at which the material is to be unloaded (for example, ramp 1).
If u can check thr is no help option available for that field in MIGO, so whatever u enter thr u will get it in ABLAD in MSEG

  • Where is the focus after executing a statement in worksheet ? (804)

After executing a statement in the sqlworksheet by hitting the 'execute statement' button, 'execute script' button or ctrl-enter the focus is no longer in the worksheet, forcing us to point/click the mouse to the edit area each time.
    Using pre-release 2.
    Can this be fixed ?
    regards,

This loss of focus had been an issue but we did fix this in v804. Did you do a clean install? If so, what os are you installed on? I just double checked on my Windows XP box and my focus was fine.

    1. Login as EUL owner EUL10
    Create a test table
    CREATE TABLE eul10.TRIG_TAB
    ACC_DATE DATE,

    2. Create a function under the eul schema owner: eul_trigger$post_login
Do not pass any argument to the function.
    Return a number from function.
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION EUL10.EUL_TRIGGER$POST_LOGIN

    BEGIN
    insert into EUL10.TRIG_TAB(acc_date) values(sysdate);
    commit;

Make sure this is set to EUL10
If not then change the EUL10 and restart Discoverer Administrator.
    5. Now Register the trigger in Discoverer Administrator
    Menu >Tools > Register PL/SQL Function ...
    6. Click import
    7. Select the trigger EUL10.eul_trigger$post_login

Function name must be in uppercase: EUL_TRIGGER$POST_LOGIN
    9. Make sure the the return type is number and that no arguments get passed.
    10. Validate the Function by clicking on the Validate button.
    11. Click ok
    12. Connect with Discoverer desktop as EUL owner.
    13. We see entries in the table trig_tab with the current date.

  • Where is the value of report repository stored in the database?

    Hi all,
One of our developers is trying to write a code that would send the output report (pdf)of a process through mail, typical work flow stuff. But the problem is that we are not supposed to hard code the value of report repositiry from where the report has to be picked.can anybody suggest a table in the database from where the value of report repository can be queried.
    we tried using
    select reportrepositorypt from pswebprofile.
but this doesnt return the correct path. we went to PIA->peopletools->webprofile ->webprofie configuration
here we updated the value in report repository field and saved it and queried again.
But this didnt solve our problem.
Its showing the previous value which is different from the actual report repository path.
all the servers are in solaris box.
    please suggets.
    Thanks!

Right now, I am trying to send a PDF (XML Publisher report) as an email to our vendors (it is their ACH Advice).
What I have done so far is: Created an App Engine, one step to populate a state record with run control information and the second step that runs XML Publisher and creates PDF report(s) which are published to the Report Repository and saved to a file on our network. Now I think I just need to create a third step to recall the PDF(s) and send the PDF(s) out as emails to our vendors.
I have found that the PDF information from Report Repository is stored in the Database in the CDM_LIST_VW record (this is a view and the main underlying table is CDM_LIST, but this contains what I need for now, so I'm going to try using it first). The Report ID is stored in the CONTENTID field and the Report Description (description shown on the Report Repository -- which in our case contains the email address) is stored in the CONTENT_DESCR field. So I am going to try over the next week to write the logic to query the CDM_LIST_VW for the data needed for the email address and the ReportID to go and grab the file....The hardest part is finding the actual file but I am hoping that I can also find a URL on that table. I'd pull the file from the network, but XML Publisher writes them out into numbered folders where all the PDFs are named the XML Report Defn - thus same name). I have not tried any of this yet, but am hoping I'm on the right path.
I hope this helped answer your question.
    Good Luck!
    Jennifer
