Where is "today" in finder

Is it just me, or is the "today" option in finder gone?  I used that a lot to find docs.

Normally under "all my files" you can sort them by date .
I think it's similar to the "today" option.

    Hi,
Try the table MARD: Storage Location Data for Material, where in the field LABST will give the stock field, against a given material/plant/Storage Loc.

So i recently bought an Apple AirPort Extreme BaseStation (the mushroom shaped one) and was wondering if someone could tell me where and how to find a power cord and how to set it up with my Macintosh (2011 edition with 1.7.5) Thankyou!

    Welcome!
Last question first, as we need to know what operating system that the Mac is using.
If you are not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click About This Mac, and post back with the OS X Version number that you see there.
Two possible solutions on the power cord
ORIGINAL OEM APPLE AIRPORT EXTREME BASE STATION POWER SUPPLY AC ADAPTER A1202 if you want a white power supply and white power cord to match up with the Apple device
AC adapter for Apple AirPort A1034 Extreme B... if you don't care what color the supply and cord might be
If you don't already have a Setup Guide.....look here:

All I See Is the CC Version, which  Never Works Well With My School Assignments.  Please Tell Me Where I Go to Find this Cuz the PullDown Arrow Is No Longer Available.  BTW - I Didn't See It Listed Under Previous Versions Either.
    thanks!

Lyleb64687719 have you utilized the steps listed in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html to verify the Creative Suite 6 version was not available?  What type of a Creative Cloud membership do you have?
You can also download the Creative Suite 6 installation files from Download CS6 products.  Installing any of the applications or suites which include Bridge CS6 should allow Bridge CS6 to install.

I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

Again, I am trying to sync all my desktop data over to my laptop. However, using Firefox v6.0.2 on both, I cannot find the "Add a Device" anywhere in the sync process windows. Can someone please tell me where I can find it???

Do you already have created a Sync account?
You need to create a sync account one one computer (click Create ...) and click the Connect button on the other computer.

  • Photoshop Elements 6 - Is this forum where I can finally find HELP?

I am attempting scrapping. I have tons of graphics and pictures to make pages with.  But I cannot find the solution to get the white background to each imported item to become transparent.  To print anything out leaves the white box surrounding the graphic. and so the background paper isn't intact. I have spent hours upon hours trying to figure it out. I keep thinking it shouldn't be this hard! I've looked through library books and am still doing so. I don't understand it. What in this beautiful world is the problem??????

Well, that was a lesson in itself. I now know about inverted crop and I can see if  I had an easier graphic it would work faster. It took quite a while because I kept getting warnings about not selecting  any pixels. Finally I pushed through it and got to a screen where with brushes, marked the selections that I wanted and those that I didn't. In the end I got my graphic without any white showing through. I accidently erased the main outline in a few places but decided I'd stop for the time being. In the end, I accomplished the look I want but my goodness, shouldn't there be a simpler and faster way. I didn't think I was asking for anything out of the ordinary. Thank you so much for your ideas, lesson and helpful response. I appreciate it !   Genie

  • Where are iBooks in finder

    Hello,
I recently purchased some iBooks in the bookshop (apple) and can read them on my laptop and iMac, but I wonder where the files are in finder.
i tried to locate them in the Library, application support and in the soft package contents, but did not find anything.
    thenks

Ok in my Macbook they are here:
    HDD > Users > "Your USer Name" > Library > Containers > com.apple.BKAgentService > Data > Documents > iBooks Books
Now iBooks saves epubs names on a code generate by the App, so no clue which books is the one you need by the file name.
    Hope it helps

  • Where does Camera Raw find custom WB info in a RAW file?

I'm using a custom WB preset on a Nikon D610.  When I open the RAW file in Lightroom or Camera Raw, I see WB = "As Shot" and I see Temp and Tint values that are CLEARLY custom values.  I am curious to know (a) where Nikon stores the WB information in a .NEF file, and how Adobe is able to find it.  Does anyone know which metadata tags hold the custom WB?  Thanks!

On my Nikon D610 I can be very specific about  WB by setting an X,Y coordinate pair in the "Choose color temp." screen:
This is the (x,y) coordinate pair that I mentioned in an earlier post. When I open the NEF file in Camera Raw, the temp and tint scales will show these values.  So the question remains: where does Adobe find this information in the NEF?
I understand that, except for "As Shot" all of the other choices Adobe gives you for White Balance will not correspond to any camera settings.  They will be Adobe's interpretation of what those values mean.  For example, "Auto" will mean what Adobe considers the best WB for your image, and it will be based on its analysis of the color data

  • Where/how can I find hardware acceleration?

Since I started using Firefox the text fonts are really, really thin and hard to read. So I went thru the questions & answers posted in the help forum. I found a very good answer - it says: Turn off hardware acceleration in Options. I cud not find it, so......
I come to my question: Where or how can I find Hardware acceleration??

That preference isn't available in Firefox 3.6.x versions, it is a new preference / feature in Firefox 4.0.
