Where is Tool Bar

Can you please help me find the vertical tool bar in CC Indesign CS6?? Can't find it and getting way way behind.

Forr goodness sake don't uninstall before you dig a bit deeper.
Was it ever there? Open the extension manager from the help menu and check to be sure that the Tool Box is present and enabled...
What workspace are you using? Do the tools come back if you reset it?
You aren't working in hidden panels mode, are you? Hit Tab to check...
See if trashing the prefs makes a difference: Replace Your Preferences
If you've run through all of that and it still doesn't work, then it's time to think about reinstalling. Your files will be safe as long as they are not saved in the application folder, but as always, you should do a backup before making changes.

Missing tool bar

Hello, just upgraded form Windows XP to Win 8 (wow, what change!) Finally got my internet set up, but can't find or figure out how or where the tool bar is to set up my favorites/book marks. I tried right ckicking the top by where you sign in and I get a drop down thingy with the pervious pages I was on. Any suggestions?

What browser are you using? If you just set up Windows 8 I would *guess* you're in IE9, but that would just be a guess.
Let us know and someone will probably be able to walk you through displaying your Favorites Bar.
(I'm no help if it is IE9, since I don't have it. My recommendation would be to download Chrome, but I'm biased like that. )

New PC, Can't reach Tool Bar - Why?

Obviously not very techy, quite dumb about technology...I have to blindly search around the top of the page with my mouse to be able to change screens. The toolbars are missing especially so on my microsoft word software. Any help is appreciated.

In word, go to the top of the screen an click on an empty space where other tool bars are and right click and see if you see something to add or put a check in front of a tool bar name. If you tell me what word you are using, I will try to be more specific.

It is the little blue dot with the white i in it, fourth from the right, next to the Media button.

I would like very much to turn it on in the Laptop I just bought and am having a fit trying to figure out all the differences,.I very much like this function; however, I am now using win 7 which in and of itself is difficult to figure out troubles when they occur such as if the MSN Bing program opens a video window while I am playing, the media center will lock up, or if I am listening to BBradio.org and click on lestening to one of the pastors the laptop will show static on the screen and all you hear is static like you just went to the twilight zone.

Please tell me how I can access what used to the tool bar? I am trying to find TOOLS where I can click on the drop down menu and select OPTIONS to get rid of cookies on a website. Or for Tools > Options you would find that under the "Firefox" button then in the right column of the drop-down look for Tools. It does not fit the needs of Firefox users with extensions you still have bring up the Tools menu from the Menu by using the "Alt" key to temporarily see the the menu bar.

That toolbar/ct plugin causes problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
/Library/Application Support/Conduit
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
/Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
/Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.

Where is the iCloud icon? I have a new ipad and although in settings I have the icon and have set music, mail etc to be stored on the cloud I do not have the icon on my home page or on the safari tool bar

There is no iCloud app or icon on your phone. iCloud is enabled and configured in your settings, but you access your iCloud data through the apps you are syncing with iCloud. iCloud contacts are accessed through the Contacts app on your phone, Mail through the Mail app, Reminders through the Reminders app, etc.
You can also access some of this data on icloud.com from a computer. You can't, however, access icloud.com from your phone.

I think you are asking about Safari not showing up on the Dock in Mavericks?
If that is the case, you can drag Safari from the Applications folder to the Dock.

Where can I find the Mozilla SAVE/PRINT/Email tool bar? In my prior version it popped out in the top left corner of the screen.

Last week I had a system crash of my Windows 8 OS. When the system was "restored" all of my personal files (docs, jpeg, excl, etc.) were still available, but I can't figure out how to PRINT a DOC. Up until last week I had a Mozilla tool bar that included, among other functions - SAVE / PRINT / EMAIL.
Also, and I don't know if you can help me with this, but I also can't find my WORD, Powerpoint and Excel software???
We used new and official HP recovery disks.
Any insight would be appreciated.

On Windows 8, by default, Firefox displays an orange Firefox button instead of the classic menu bar. To switch between them, you can use either:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar, or the new tab ("+") button > Menu Bar
* tap the Alt key to display the menu bar temporarily > View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
Did you get back all your Firefox data (e.g., Bookmarks, any Saved Passwords, etc.)?
Sometimes a system recovery/reinstall will stash your old data in a folder named
C:\Windows.old
If you have that folder, I know it takes up a lot of space, but I suggest keeping it around if you can because you may discovery things missing that you can recover from that folder.

It may be that iTunes has gotten into Full Screen mode. If that's the case, moving the cursor to the very top of the screen and letting it sit for a second or two will cause the menu bar to drop down.
To burn a CD without needing the menu bar, first get iTunes to show your playlists. In the leftmost window, right-click on the playlist you want to burn to CD. From the menu that appears, select Burn Playlist To Disc.

You can permanently display the Menu Bar if you prefer it:
*right-click in the empty area at the right side of the tab bar
*click on Menu Bar to place a check mark
*the Menu Bar should now be permanently displayed and the Firefox button in the upper left will no longer be displayed.
*you can reverse the change by repeating and click Menu Bar to remove the check mark.

Where did bridge Icon on tool bar go?

Might seem like a petty thing, but I like the convenience of having the bridge icon on the tool bar. Why this was removed is beyond me. Yes, I know it can be found in the File/Browse in Bridge but it's all about workflow.

MB is now in the left corner on the bottom.
you may not see if you use a saved workspace from CS5.
i only mention that because i did search MB but did not see it because i switched to my saved CS5 workspace.
