Where is "Tools, Options" in iTunes?

Sorry if sounds like stupid question.
But my iTunes on pc keeps asking if I want to install the next 10.4 or something version. I'm currently on 10.3.1.55
But after trying to download it says ERROR, and says I should go to "Tools, Options" and select "download only".
But there is not "Tools, Options" in my iTunes, OR my iPhone.
Where can I find this?

Go to Start -> All programs -> Apple Software Update -> At the top you'll see tools -> Options and choose download only

When you're happy with your selections, click OK to save them. iTunes then uses this style as the default style for captions and subtitles for iTunes video playback.

ITunes: where is the option to sync music without iCloud ????

I have 3000+ songs in my iTunes account on my mac Mini
I upgraded to iO6 and now, the only option I have to sync my music that I see is with iCloud. I no longer have an option to sync the music on my computer directly to my iPhone.
iClould doesn't work at 41,000' with no wi-fi and no cell service, or when I am camping in remote areas.
Where is the option in iTunes to sync music from a computer to a iPhone or other device?

I have iTunes 10.7 (21)
I don't have Mountain Lion, and there is no option to "Sync Music" when I plug my iPhone in. I have had a Powerbook G4 since 2005, and have being using iTunes since 2005 with multiple iPods, iPhones.
There simply isn't an option to sync my music with my iPhone 4S.
I do see the ability to sync contacts, photos, but when I click on the music tab under iTunes, I see this image:
I have never seen this option before and would love to see the option to "Sync All Music", "Syn All Playlist" and "Sync Selected Playlists" or whateve the old screen options where.
Do you really think this is a iOS 10.7.5 issue vs 10.8 (Mountain Lion)?

Under the Store menu in iTunes. If you have iTunes 11, which for some unfathomable reason hides the menus by default, press Control-B and you'll then see the menus.

Where's The Convert ID3 Tag option in iTunes 11?

What happened to the convert ID3 tag option in iTunes 11? It no longer appears when I right-click on a song.
Because iTunes still saves the ID3 tags in imported MP3's as v2.2, I have to convert the tags to v2.3 so that the MP3 information is recognized by my car radio.

Just to clarify for anyone else still having troubles.
Convert ID3 Tags... is still in iTunes 11, but it only shows up when you right-click on audio tracks while in Song or List View.
To recap:
You MUST be in List or Song View.
You can NOT be in Grid, Artist List, or Album View.
Also, please remember that ID3 Tags are only for MP3/MPEG audio files, and NOT MP4/AAC/Apple Lossless audio files.

I found out that when I'm clicking on "Check for Update" (Under summary) it's transfer my purcheses
(might related to the fact that I enabled under my iPhone that it will automatically download my apps - but I'm not sure).

Okay, below is an update with the reply I got from my Apple support agent.
Now I'm not sure why or how she thought that that might help me, and I did in fact indulge her for the sake of the argument. Result: Nooooope, no Alert Me link anywhere. So don't waste too much time signing in or out of the Store, it won't bring the feature back.
I replied to her and am awaiting another response, hoping to escalate the issue with the higher ups.
P.S.: Dear Apple Support Tech: No, you information was not "needful" at all!

Denis, please follow the instruction given below to add artists to wish list on iTunes 11:
Go to your computer and follow these step:
- If iTunes is open go to the top menubar and to Store then sign out of iTunes.
- Now quit iTunes
- Now open iTunes
- Go to the top menu bar then go to Store and Sign in with account XXXXX
- Go the iTunes Store main page and to the bottom and Free on iTunes get the free song of the week. If you are asked to agree to the new terms of service read then accept them. If you are asked to update your billing info you can do one of the following depending on if you want a credit card on the account or not.
- if you do not want a credit card on the account select NONE then Done and Done again
- if you want a credit card on the account. Put in your security code for your credit card then click done.
You will need to refresh any device you use by following these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Go to Store
- Select Sign out
- Select sign in with existing account
- You will be asked to verify the information please put in the exact information you just put on the account on the computer. Now put the artist you want your watch list.

Where is the "tools" option in the new firefox version. I can't find it and need to clear my cache

Backup option on iTunes

I used to have the option through iTunes to backup my iPhone, I have a new laptop, downloaded iTunes the
tool bar is different at the top and I cannot find where I backup my iPhone any more. There is no File Folder option. Thank you.

You can use Ctrl + B to bring up the menu bar. Or, just look below the menu at the icons there, and you should see the small one that looks like a phone, bring the mouse pointer over it and it will identify it. Click on it and it will bring up the Summary page you were used to seeing. You can select your backup from there.
