Where is virtual user data stored?

I'm moving ahead on my mirrored servers endeavor but need to know where OSX stores virtual user (for mail service) data so I can sync it.
Anyone know?

Assuming default locations, all mailboxes are stored in:
/var/spool/imap/dovecot/mail

  • IPhone Apps - Where Is User Data Stored?

Where is the user data associated with an iPhone app stored? Is it stored within the app's .ipa file? For example, I use Weightbot. Is all of my personal data stored within the Weightbot.ipa file, or is it stored elsewhere?

The reason why I bring this question up is, I've somehow lost 1GB of storage from my iPhone 3GS!
I've added up the data size of all the apps on my iPhone. I've got 61 apps in total, which take up 1947.38 GB of storage. However, the Capacity bar in iTunes is telling me that my 61 Apps are taking up 3.10 GB!
So, somehow I've lost over 1GB of storage on my iPhone. How can that be?

    2. select distinct grantee, substr(granted_role,5,25)
    from dba_role_privs
    where substr(granted_role,1,4)='OWB_'
    and substr(granted_role,1,6) not in ('OWB_A_','OWB_D_','OWB_O_','OWBR_')

  • I'm new to Apple products. Can someone point me to where an applications user data is stored. For example: skype user data

I've been searching through the various folders on my Mac Pro hard drive and cannot see where user data is stored. As an example, I deleed Skype and reloaded it and my old profile data is still available. but I cannot determine where it is stored. Can someone point me to whaere this type id data is stored

Skype and other applications as well may store all their data within their application package. Or they store their data elsewhere such as the Documents folder, as I mentioned.
There are hidden folders but they are system folders and files. There is no reason for you to ever access them.
Skype may also store all that it needs to function in its /Home/Library/Preferences/ preference folder. The storage of any other produced data is located wherever the user designates.
iPhoto stores your photos in the iPhoto Library which is found in your /Home/Pictures/ folder.

  • Where is the administrative user data stored?

Hi I am trying to implement a simple user management application
    in an weblogic server (10.3.2).
The user data is stored in an oracle database and the SQLAuthenticator is configured correctly.
Everything works fine, the user gets authenticated, created and deleted.
But when I try to log in several times with the wrong password, the server locks me out.
I know that i can unlock the user via the console but my question is:
Where is this information stored so that i can reset it using my user management aplication?
Can anyone help me or is this a big weblogic secret?
    Regards
    Edmund

Can anyone help me or is this a big weblogic secret?
Why do u want to know it???
There are ways by which u can unlock the user programatically.. i dont think u can unlock it by modifying some files on WLS, not recommended either...
U can use the following Mbeans
    weblogic.management.security.authentication.UserLockoutManagerMBean
    weblogic.management.runtime.UserLockoutManagerRuntimeMBean

  • Where is the User Group stored

    Hi all
I have a question about the User Groups.
I want to know where are the User Groups and their information stored in Business Objects.
Is there a system table from where I can access/pull this information.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
You can use the Query Builder (on the BusinessObjects Administration Launchpad under Administrative Tools) to query the CMS database.
The following query would return some details of all user groups in your system:
    SELECT
    SI_NAME, SI_DESCRIPTION, SI_ID, SI_ALIASES, SI_GROUP_MEMBERS
    FROM
    CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS
    WHERE
    SI_KIND = 'usergroup'
You can find documentation on querying the CMS in the Developer Library:
    http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2/en/devsuite.htm#en/BOE_SDK/boesdk_java_dg_doc/doc/boesdk_java_dg/SDKFundamentals34.html#1033059
[Dev Library Home|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2/en/devsuite.htm] > Enterprise SDK > Java Developer Guide > SDK Fundamentals > How do I use the query language to retrieve classes from the CMS repository?

  • Where my virtual machines are stored?

    Hi

    thanks?

    Hi
When i do install a new virtual machine on hyper- v where is it stored?
so can I copy this virtual machine file and use it in another hyper-v machine?
    thanks?
It's stored where you point at. If you did not do much that would be default location. See:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/virtual_pc_guy/archive/2010/05/06/managing-the-default-virtual-machine-location-with-hyper-v.aspx
Sure you can move VM to another host. Just make sure you don't boot both VMs @ the same time as that's a license violation. About migration see:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/brucecowper/archive/2010/04/09/moving-virtual-machines-from-one-host-to-another-on-hyper-v.aspx

  • Where does alsb configuration data stored?

Does alsb implements any database internally to save the configuration data of all the services developed in alsb for development, staging, and production environments.

ALSB stores all config data in the file system in the directory <domain root>/alsb/config. Part of the configuration is a log of changes done so undos can be accomplished. The component of alsb responsible for implementing configuration persistence is called the config framework. In a cluster, the master copy of the configuration is stored in the admin server machine. Changes to this master configuration is automatically and atomically propogated to all nodes and a copy of the configuration is stored in each cluster node. The config framework internally leverages the web logic deployment framework to do the propogation.

  • IPhoto 11 and PSE 11: where is the image data stored?

I have been using iPhoto on my new macbook for the last 3 mos. It has some useful features such as quick editing,  easy sharing and making neat collages etc. However its editing capability is limited and so i just bought PSE 11 for mac.
    My questions:
    1. I am trying to figure out as I import new pictures, where do I keep them, iPhoto or PSE? The pictures I take from iPhone , iPad obviously go into iPhoto first. However it is the photos I take with my other digital cameras that I am not sure where to bring them in.
    2. If I import first into iPhoto and then into PSE, does the image data get duplicated?
    3. If I bring a photo from iPhoto into PSe and edit it, the picture remains in PSE. How do I take it back into iPhoto? Should I delete the edited photo from PSE after exporting it to iPhoto to avoid duplicate images?
    Your recommendations appreciated.

In general it’s best not to use Organizer and iPhoto together. It’s one or the other to avoid duplicating your images.
If you already have lots of photos in iPhoto, you could set up the iPhoto prefs, to enable the PSE11 Editor application for external editing. You can then use Edit In or Cmd+E directly from you iPhoto thumbnails.

Thanks for your quick response!  Can this be installed locally?  Do you know the high level differnces between FormsCentral and Abobe v8 Professional for form routing?

  • Where is extension registration data stored?

I just bought a new computer, and I use the full suite of Pluginlab extensions extensively on several sites. However, it appears that they have gone out of business, so I cannot get my products re-activeated (license moved) to my new computer. I'm hoping that there is a way to copy the registration data (an XML file or some sort) to the new computer from AppData or somewhere to the new computer.
If not, I will have to completely redesign several sites whenever it comes time to add or change a menu item, update a site map, update or add a layer window, along with several other items (unless I want to start hand-coding those updates and additions, which I don't).
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks so much!

  • Where's the Users data?

Sadly, my hard drive failed on my alum. iMac 24, and I had it replaced under warranty. I was grateful that I had been using Time Machine (to an external HD), and this was the first time I needed to restore anything (in this case everything).
It appears that everything is in the Time Machine archives except all the files that would normally be in the Users folder. Am I to assume that I've lost all my email, contacts, calendar, paswords, etc etc ??? Or do I need some special access routine to unhide those files?

I'm starting to believe that you may be right, but I wasn't even aware that you could exclude material in syncs. It's obviously not something I would have done deliberately, since my User are practically the most valuable stuff I have.
I've always hated the fact that every Mac is assumed to be a multi-user machine by default, when 99% of Macs are used by one person. It is a personal computer, right? Why should I be forced to jump through hoops configuring myself as a user, when I'm the only user. Anyway, sorry to rant. That's off topic.
I guess I'll have to see what I can salvage from sources outside of Time Machine.

  • Where is iCloud drive data stored?

What happens when I have more data in iCloud than I do on any of my devices that I choose to sync with?

What happens when I have more data in iCloud than I do on any of my devices that I choose to sync with?
You could disable iCloud Drive on selected Macs and simply use the web interface to upload and download. That will avoid the local shadow copies.
