The update mail application for Leopard is going to have integrated notes and to do lists. You are already using a preview version of the notes. But to get them to sync back would require Apple pre-release the new Mail.app to only iPhone users and that wouldn't work.Or to have some cludgy workaround that exports them to text edit or something. Once Leopard is out in 4 months you can go upgrade and have happy shiny notes and to-do lists all you want, and then I am sure they will allow some sort of Windows compatible Outlook thingy too.
Until the it is workaround city.

I have to agree on the big disappointment that there is no way to sync a To Do list. This is one of my primary uses for my smartphone. Did not even occurred to me that this functionality would not be present.
For now, I am creating an extra contact card for each list and keeping notes in the text field. I can type in the notes on my MBP in the address book and sync to the iPhone. I name the lists 1.0 List X, 2.0 List Y, etc. to keep them together and easy to find.
It is a work around. NOT elegant, but will do. Hope they fix this with an update or with Leopard.
Agree Notes <--> Stickies would be a great solution.

I know that you can update your iPhone contacts thru your Yahoo contact list, but does this occur vice-versa when new contacts have been added to your iPhone and you sync with Yahoo?

In an indirect way, yes.
It syncs with Address Book and updates the contacts
there.
Your computer will then sync with .Mac and update
contacts online.
Hopefully Apple will implement direct .Mac sync'ing
in future versions, but who knows if they will.
obviously syncing your iPhone to your mac, will update address book, which in turn will update your online contact list on .mac
this was not the question, the question was, will changing the contacts from a yahoo contact list update your online contact list through yahoo when sync'd.
best way to find out, try it, see if it does.

Where are the files that are sync'ed from iPhones stored in Windows?

A newbee question but important to me!
During the second sync operation after acquiring an iPhone 4, the program stopped / crashed (?), and the phone switched itself off. I guess that there was a reset at the same time, because all photographs, movies and music in the phone disappeared.
Calendars and apps seem to be unaffected.
Hopefully it will be possible to restore the missing files from the PC. But where are they?

Your music and movies should still be part of the iTunes library on your computer. See if your movies are listed in "movies" in the left window in iTunes.
Photos you took with the phone are part of the last backup, if you did not sync after that. If you did, the data got overwritten.

Hello,
When i try to open document library from SharePoint Production portal then it throws the specified error. However, when i open document library from SharePoint Development portal then it opens it in file explorer quite easily.
Production portal is on https whereas development portal is on http. Also, UAG has been configured on production portal.
Any idea where it's getting stuck up? Surely, this is not a browser issue on Windows 7 as it's opening the development portal's document library on the same machine.
I've also done following things:
- Configured Desktop Experience on production environment
- Installed the hotfix for Windows 7

Then, try to delete the cache of the IE browser before reproducing the issue. Check the result..

Otherwise you will need to collect the logs to further analyze...

I'm aware I can see my purchase history in iTunes but where can I see a list of all credits (vouchers) and debits (app purchases)? My account is showing zero credit and I want to confirm which top up vouchers I've applied to make sure they're fully spent.

There is no way to view a history of the cards that you have redeemed.
When you redeem a card, check immediately that your credit balance has been incremented by the appropriate amount.

iPods (except for iPod touch) are not linked to any iTunes "account." They are associated with your iTunes library. The account in iTunes is your Apple ID, and that is used to buy and download content from the iTunes Store. It is not required to use an iPod.
The 1st (and 2nd) gen shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library at a time. When you connect it, iTunes should prompt you to start using it with your iTunes library, and warn that the shuffle's existing content will be erased. Have iTunes erase the shuffle, and it will be associated with your iTunes library going forward. You can then add content to your shuffle.
The need for the previous owner's Apple ID and password should only come up if you are trying to transfer existing content from the shuffle to your iTunes library, AND the previous owner had content purchased from the iTunes Store. Just cancel out of that step, if iTunes asks.

What happened to the option to buy your entire wish list in the iTunes Store?

There use to be a "purchase your entire wish list" option in the iTunes store. So instead of buying 12 songs one at a time for $0.99 each, you could make one purchase for $11.88. That option appears to have been removed, or hidden. At least I can't find it anymore. If it's hidden, where is it? If it's gone, why??

Where do I get a list of the commands for the MSO 4104 USB port (*STB? for example)

I am trying to use the Tektronix MSO 4104 scope as part of an instrumentation setup. I have installed the Labview drivers and everything works great except for one thing. I am using the trigger mode. The MSO4104.lvib: Wait for Operation Complete.vi only waits for the the scope to finish setting the parameters that I have sent to it. The Wait for Operation Complete.vi sends the *STB? command and looks for bit 5 of the return message to see if the scope has finished setting up its parameters (the scope returns a decimal 96). If the scope hasn't triggered and stored the waveform, I don't get usable data back. What command do I send to see if the scope has been triggered and the waveform is ready for transfer to the Labview application?
Where do I find a listing for the commands and status messages for the scope? I can see the use of *CLS, *OPC, *STB? and other commands, but where can I get a listing? I am going to put in a query on the Tektronix site also. If I had a listing of commands and status formats, I could get things done.

I think that your best bet for finding that information is going to be the programming guide for your scope, so asking Tektronix will likely be more helpful than asking NI. If the scope is programmable, it should have come with a guide listing all of the commands and queries. Can you look on the Tektronix website for your scope and see if they have the programmer's guide available for download? I think they often do.

Those unlock/activation numbers for software are like the key to your car. In the case of a app like comiclife it might be only terrible if you loose it and must re-purchase the app, but imagine that would happen to owners of the full adobe cs suite, which is several thousand Dollars ..

The difference in performance between running a Vid Card a 4X for 8X is about 3%, or nothing to the naked eye. The Bandwidth for 4X is now just barely being used up, which is why there is no change in performance.
4X AGP cards had their production runs stop about 4 years ago, you are not going to see any on the market. The price difference between 4X and 8X AGP is 0 anyway, so it does not matter.

AFAIK, there is no master list. If you have the Silicon Prairie "Tools" utilities, you can compile your own lists. See: Silicon Prairie - FrameMaker Products
The best approach is to simply use the Copy Special to pick up the paragraph and character styles that you want to add to your new template and build the template piecemeal, i.e. create one FM file for your tables, another for your page layouts/sizes, another for your tags, cross-refs, etc. Then combine those as required to build the final template. This Lego-like approach is much more flexible and allows you to modify base-components and quickly make a new brand new template.
