Where it is possible to change the value separator in Custom Field?

Hello,
This is a question around the "Custom Fields" and "Lookup Table"
I linked a "Custom Field" to a "Lookup Table".
I select the option "Allow multiple values to be selected from lookup table"
When I used this "Custom Field" in a view, the selected values are separated by a comma ",".
Where it is possible to change this value?
I saw another project server where the character is a semi-column ";" and I would like to test with ";".
Thank you in advance
Pascal Jean

Hi,
This will be triggered by your regional settings.
Hope this helps,
Guillaume Rouyre, MBA, MVP, P-Seller |
Hello,
Thank you for the answer.
Do you mean the "local regional settings"?
Because, depending on the PWA site I'm connected to I don't have the same values. I'm obviously using the same workstation.

    Hi, all.
    Is it possible to change the value of the followings after creating a database??

    -maxlogfiles
    -maxlogmembers

    Thanks and Regards.

    Hi Chris,
    Thanks for updating that but here's what in Oracle Doc:
    From Oracle Documentation (Oracle® Database New Features Guide 10g Release 2 (10.2))
    Eliminate Control File Re-Creation
    With the control file enhancements, there is no longer a requirement to re-create the control file when changes in the configuration parameters are made. These include the MAXLOGFILE, MAXLOGMEMBERS, MAXLOGHISTORY, MAXDATAFILES, and MAXINSTANCES parameters.
    This feature eliminates database downtime when a configuration parameter change is made in the control file

  • Is it possible to change the values of fields In Me21n tansaction?

    I Have to put in some logic to change the values of already existing Shipping condition field in the SHIPPING subscreen at the Line item level in ME21n transaction.
    I searched for the user exit to do soo. Did not find anything to do this. I would like to know if it is possible through some other way.
    thanks
    shubha

    Hi Shubha!
    You might use BAPI_PO_CHANGE. Even if there would be a user exit / BADI, then execution is not sure.
    You said: 'already existing shipping field' -> exits of a transaction are only executed during maintenance, not afterwards.
    So maybe you have to make your changes completely outside of PO.
    Still have a look at BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, there are a lot of methods and one might help you.

  • Is it possible to change the VBAP-ADRNR item address field value?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to update the VBAP-ADRNR item record field value?
    I am trying to update this field value from BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE but it is not changing the value.
    I am only able to change the corresponding address for that address number.
    But I need to change the address number( I want to replace with header address number) itself.
    If any ideas please let me know.
    Thanks,

    eh????
    What's the relevance of schedule lines and ADRNR?
    @OP: Don't. There is a reason why SAP gives out a new ADRNR. And manually changing the value of a primary/foreign key is never a good thing to do.

  • DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE does not change the value of my screen fields

    Hi,
    I have a screen with a header area and a control with an ALV.
    In my header area i have 2 fields shown as an icon.  These icons should change
    with an event triggered in the ALV (in handle_user_command)
    In handle_user_command I check the values of a column in my ALV - I have 3 possible cases : a green led, a yellow led or a red led.
    When i'm debugging the program, everything seems to be ok.  In my table i see the new values of the icons, but when I see the screen afterwards the old values have not been replaced.  (I also use an refresh of my ALV)

  • CR 8.5 - Why would inserting a group change the value of a detail field?

    I have a report that has a field in the detail called Margin. The Margin field is calculated in my SQL query. I've checked and the data in SQL is still correct...
    I used the Wizard to setup my basic report.
    I just added the fields and that's about it. I didn't create the group in the wizard.
    Everything looked good so I added a group.
    My margin field looked good. (the numbers were in the range they should be)
    I spent a good part of an hour formatting and testing.
    Hadn't been watching the Margin field, and now I noticed that the numbers are way off.
    They run in the range of positive numbers 5% to 60% (for example),  now all of a sudden they are Negative and well into the 100s.
    I have no Formulas at this time. I do have some I need to create, but haven't yet.
    I have a group created. The group isn't on the Margin field....
    I've refreshed the data and the numbers are still whacked out...
    I just tried taking the Group out and the Margin numbers go back to normal.
    What about the group is screwing up my Margin number?
    What am I doing wrong???
    Thanks
    Kelvin

    "1.Whether it happens only when you group on a certain field/formula etc."
    Not 100% sure how to answer this, but I do know that I'm grouping on the field "PartGroup" in my Stored procedure.
    "2.Whether the field is being used in a formula and its value is set conditionally."
    I would say no.
    I tried deleting the field Margin from the Detail section and in the Field Explorer there is no green check mark showing. (it's my understanding that if there's a green check mark it's being used somewhere)
    I just tried deleting the Group and the numbers are still screwy
    I had also Inserted Subtotals that look like this:
    Sum of CIT_PT_SalesByPartsGroup;1.AmtCost
    Sum of CIT_PT_SalesByPartsGroup;1.AmtPrice
    I've since removed them and the numbers are still screwy
    It seems like if I go far enough back (undo my work) the Margin field corrects itself.
    Then I can redo the report back to almost finished and it screws up again....
    I'd love to know what I'm doing to cause this.
    Thanks for your time

  • Change the value of a variable used in a View query

    I am using JDeveloper 11g to develop a simple portlet application which displays data loaded from database. I am displaying the data by dragging the ViewObject from the AppModuleDataControl to the View.jspx page and selecting the option ADF Read-only Table. My ViewObject has a single variable :empId. Now is it possible to change the value of this variable with a value that comes from the request object. On the internet I found the following code:
            FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
            Application app = facesContext.getApplication();
            ExpressionFactory elFactory = app.getExpressionFactory();
            ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext();
            ValueExpression valueExp =
            elFactory.createValueExpression(elContext, "#{data.AppModuleDataControl.dataProvider}",
            Object.class);
            ApplicationModule am = (ApplicationModule)valueExp.getValue(elContext);
            ViewObject emplVO;
            emplVO = am.findViewObject("EmployeeView1");
            emplVO.setNamedWhereClauseParam("empId", "1");I have put this code in the public void processAction(ActionRequest request, ActionResponse response) method. However this does not work when I deploy it.
    Does anyone know if the above code is correct in this case and if there is a better way how I can set this up?

    Hi there:
    Did you add a break point and debug the code to see what is the value for the :empid parameters passed in to your view object?
    If you are sure you have passed in the correct value for ":empid" parameter, then do the following:
    String amDef = "yourAmDef";
    String config = "yourConfig";
    ApplicationModule am =
    Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(amDef,config);
    ViewObject emplVO;
    emplVO = am.findViewObject("EmployeeView1");
    emplVO.setNamedWhereClauseParam("empId", "1");
    empVO.executeQuery();
    which will execute your view object with the new bind variable value and refresh the view.
    Please mark my answer as 'Correct' if it solves your problem, or 'Helpful' if it does.
    Thanks,

  • How to change the value in an Integer object?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to change the value that is contained in an Integer object.
    I know Integer objects are immutable. So it might not be possible to chage to value in an integer object once its been initalized a value @ the time of construction.
    Also does autoboxing and unboxing feature of 1.5 help acheive this?
    Please let me know of any other alternative
    Thanks
    Deepak

    Tried the autoboxing and unboxing feature doesnt
    help.It doesn't help in general. But in this special case it doesn't help because it doesn't anything to do with it. Do you really know what you're doing?
    So across the function its not changing the value.
    As I have created an object of Integer class and
    passed a reference of that object into the chage()
    ,So any changes should have been reflected
    acrosss method calls.?Since you let the newly created parameter-reference a point to a new Integer object: no. Why? You have two references to I(31). Then you move one reference to I(33). Why should 31 get another value?
    Does the the java compiler creates a new Integer
    object each time it does autoboxing Not necessarily. Some values are pooled. Actualy, the JVM does it. The compiler never creates any object.
    so that the value
    is lost across method calls?That's not the compiler's or the JVM's fault. It's all a misconception of yours.
    Is there any means to achieve this?What for?
    int a = 0;
    a = change(a);
    int change (final int i) {
      return i + 12;
    }Does exactly what you want, without side-effects.

    Hello,
    We have a requirement where we are want to change the value while creating a credit memo request wrt Billing doc.  Is there a way to change the price of the material rather then the qty on the credit memo request?  The system allows only Qty change and not the price change.
    Pelase help!
    Arpita Rani

    Update the price condition record first. Then in the credit memo - go to conditions and click on update button, select option - copy manula elements and redetermine others.
    ALso you can check the copy controls from your Invoice to CM Reqest (VTAF) @ item level - check price Type B. If the condition record is diferent from the one on billing, thenyou will get updated price in your cmr.

    Since the late 2009 iMacs came out, replacing the hard drive has caused the internal Hard Drive Fan to start running at around 6000RPM.
    This is due to Apple replacing the external Hard Drive temperature sensor with a proprietary firmware and using the drives internal sensor.
    Replacement drives do not contain the firmware to deliver temperature data on the temperature sensor cable.
    When the iMac does not receive a good signal from the hard drive it puts the fan at full speed to protect the drive.
    If you replace your drive, your iMac will initially seem fine, but soon the fan will begin to speed up to full speed. Resetting the SMC (System Management Controller) will have a temporary effect, but again the fan will speed up.
    Fixes people have used in the past included:
    Using smcFanControl and the terminal to set a MAX speed for the fan and writing scripts to start this after every sleep/restart.
    Shorting the temperature sensor cable (Not a possibility on 2011 iMacs) this tricks the iMac into thinking the drives temperature is very low, hence slow fan speed.
    Both these fixes are less then perfect and leave the drive in a dangerous situation with no protection from overheating.
    Another option people try is other Fan Control software. These programs will not work for this particular issue as they often only control the base speed, and if they do control the fans actual speed they rely on the temperature reported by the sensor which is now incorrect.
    HDD Fan Control
    HDD Fan Control works to fix this issue by reading the drives internal temperature using the S.M.A.R.T protocol and set the fans actual speed to a value good to protect the drive.
    It runs at startup and continually to always control the fan correctly, prevent the loud fan noise and protect the drive from overheating
    Instead of HDDFan Control, get the free SSDFan Control

    Green is a marketing term for a drive designed for lower power use, lower noise, and lower heat. The side effect is that it's not as fast. Black drives are designed for highest performance, so they might use more power and run hotter and noisier. I upgraded my Apple Time Capsule with a green drive, but I put a black drive in my Mac Pro.
    Kappy wrote:
    7200 RPM drives are faster than 5400 RPM drives.
    As in cars, RPM is not the sole determinant of performance. In some cases, a newer drive at a lower RPM is faster than an older drive at a higher RPM, when the newer drive uses better technology. I have heard that some of today's high-capacity 5400RPM drives are faster than 7200RPM drives of lower capacity simply because the very high density of a 1TB drive means more data passes under the head even at a lower RPM. Certainly there have been times in Apple's past when new lower RPM drives were faster than higher RPM drives of the previous generation, a notable example being when 4200RPM perpendicular recording drives were introduced and beat 5400RPM drives.
    Yes, generally RPM can be used to compare, but it is important to realize it isn't always true.

  • Is it possible to programmatically change the value of a LV8.2 project symbol at runtime?

    I need to programmatically change what a conditional disable structure will execute at runtime. (See this thread for more details if you're interested.)  As far as I can tell the only way to do this is to change the value of a project symbol at runtime.
    I've tried to find a property that allows me to do this but so far it eludes me.
    Anyone know how to do it?

    This is definetly not possible. When the conditional disable structure is compiled, only the actual case is compiled. The other cases don't even have to have valid code, they can have broken wires or bad VI's in them!
    Like Mike suggested, you need to load VI's that do the task dynamically.
