Where low SGA for bi-direction stream

Hi Experts,
I got alert message from database -- saleeast
Propagation Schedule for (STRMADMIN.STREAMS_CAPTURE, "STRMADMIN"."STREAMS_APPLY"@salewest.net) encountered following error:
ORA-23603: STREAMS enqueue aborted due to low SGA.
we are using bi-direction stream. this message means that apply process abort due saleeast low SGA? or salewest low SGA?
or other?
Thanks,
JIm

i think that is salewest DB has low SGA.
Also I need to increase SGA_target or SGASize? Actually, saleeast 1.8 G SGAsize as 500M. salewest2.5G and_SGA_size as 500M
I got this info from both DB,
No experts help me?
Thanks,
Jim

    Hi,
We have recently upgraded single instance database to 10.2.0.5 patch set 4 on windows server 2003 64 bit
After upgrading we are facing  issue of number of warnings in trace files (bdump)
WARNING:Could not lower the asynch I/O limit to 224 for SQL direct I/O. It is set to -1
I know this is bug 9772888 and oracle suggest to upgrade to 11.2.x but we can't upgrade it now on early basis.
According to oracle it is useless warning and can be ignored but these traces are consuming more than 500MB space per day and we are unable to delete trace files as oracle countinously using those file for writting
it is production database kindly suggest solution other than upgrade.
    trace files sid_sxxx_XXX.trc
if we set max_dump_file_size to XXXM or G will it resolve our problem?
or is there any way to flush warnings to new file and delete old one.
    Please suggest
    Thanks

    duplicate thread.
    I suggest you don't multipost.
I also suggest you upgrade from Windows 2003 (10 years old and probably desupported)
and 10gR2 (desupported for a few years)

  • Where to find the download link for the Portal BP for Payer Direct?

Can anyone tell me where to find the download for the BP for Payer Direct???
I see information about it on help.sap.com.
Also, it is mentioned in detail in the docs for the BP for Supplier Collaboration.
But I cannot find anything for it on SDN or Service Marketplace.
    Thank you in advance

I finally found it in the Content Portfolio.
I was including the "" in my search...like "Payer Direct". This way was just returning every one of the BPs.
But if I search on Payer Direct without the quotes around the term, then I get the result.
In my result, it does not say License Required. I get the download icon, and it says "The license for this package is included in the mySAP ERP (P) or the mySAP SRM (P) or the SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (P) or NW User (for R/3 Users)license."
But when I click on the download link, it does not work. I get a syntax error.

  • Where the heck is the AppleTV 2 instructions for sync and stream?

I can't find any info on sync and stream in Apple TV's setup manual and there's no manual for How to Use. Can someone point me to the right link?

There's not alot of info for sync and stream. Pointer the ATV to a Mac initially produces the sync(user can sync only one itunes library). It streams also as long as the files are in the itunes library and the itunes program is open(can be minimized) and the Mac is not sleeping. Up to five other Macs can stream but not sync. You can tell that feature by the amount of tabs available in the ATV column of itunes.

  • Why can't Siri locate contact addresses for map directions?

Having an issue with iphone 4s using Siri for locating addresses saved within contacts for map directions.
The problem is only evident on about half of the contacts so far..  the message i get is 'I couldn't find an address for .." even though the contact I asked for clearly has their address saved.  I've doubled checked I've used the right address fields and seem fine.
I'm unable to distinguine the problem between the contacts where Siri works as it should and locate the address, and the ones it can't - including my home address.
Very frustating when I want directions in the car for driving and using hands free.
    Any ideas guys?!

It seems to be a bug in the software. Other people have said it may have so something to do with siri not understanding UK postcodes properly.  I don't really know but I seem to have found a solution, although cumbersome.
-Load up your contact from phonebook app
-Tap the address (apple maps should go straight to it)
-Double tap home and switch back to phonebook app
    -Delete the address
-Diuble tap back into maps (the pin point should still be there)
-Press the little blue arrow on the pin
-Add to contacts > Existing contact
    -Select contact
(Now this is the important bit)
-Tap edit then tap the right hand column off the address section in order to set it as home, work, etc.
    -Done
    Phew!!
It's long winded I know, but now I can just tell siri to get directions to so and so's home safely while driving without fiddling around tapping buttons.
Sort it out Apple. It should 'Just Work' outside of the US too you know.

  • Offset in where clause of for all entries

    Hi ,
I need to fetch VBELN from VBKD table based on Purchase order no which is fetched from a Z-table.So I am using for all entries with where condition as VBKD-BSTKD_M = Ztable-PONumber  and fetching values from VBKD .But at times PO number in VBKD table can have additional things attached to it .
Eg Ztable-PO number = 12345678 , VBKD-BSTKD_M = 12345678-001 so I need to ignore the '-001' part and still fetch data from VBKD.So how can I do that.
Pls let me know if you have any ideas.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rajasekaran

    Hi ,
We cannot use offset directly in where as it will result in syntax error as the field length for both fields have to match .In my case the length of both Ztable -PO number field and vbkd-bstkd_m are 35 characters. So cannot use offset directly in where clause of for all entries.
Pls let me know if you have any other ideas.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rajsekaran

  • AudioBeam - Confidence value for multiple directions

In the AudioBasics-D2D sample code, the Kinect is automatically setting the beam angle and then making available the selected angle and confidence value.
// Get audio beam angle and confidence
    pAudioBeamSubFrame->get_BeamAngle(&fBeamAngle);
    pAudioBeamSubFrame->get_BeamAngleConfidence(&fBeamAngleConfidence);
But I would like to get the BeamAngleConfidence for other directions besides the active beam angle so that I can choose a different direction manually if necessary. In order to choose the best direction (or sound source location), the Kinect must be calculating
those values for other directions [-50...50] and choosing the most likely. Does the API reveal those estimates?

I don't quite understand what you are asking. Beamforming focuses on the "strongest source" to detect where the sound is coming from. Setting it to automatic will provide beam direction and provide how confident it was in the guess. The stronger
the source and how noisy the area will be factors. From that you can deduce falloff for the other regions as demonstrated in the audio sample.
If you want to setup your own manual beams and get the values at the "same time", create different threads for each angle. This is qualified because Windows is not a real-time operating system. Depending on the speed of the CPU and how you
setup the threads will be factors you need to work with. With audio you have to worry about latency.

  • Define upper/lower limits for shipment cost condition

    Hi people, help please!
How can I define upper/lower limit for shipment cost conditions?.
The transaction TK11 has the functionality for upper/lower limits, but I can't find how to define it in customizing.
I follow the path Logistic Execution>Transportation>Pricing>Pricing Control>Define Condition Types, but is not like the transaction for pricing elements in condition types for sales.
    How can I do it?
    Regards.

The problem is on the class condition import limits.
I can’t customize upper and lower prices for the shipment cost class condition and i cant find how define it or what else can I do.
The customizing transaction for shipment cost lass condition is not like sales price class condition, please look this:
For the shipment cost class condition follow the path SPRO>Logistic Execution>Transportation>Shipment Cost>Pricing>Pricing Control>Define Condition Types.
For the sales price class condition follow the path SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic Function>Pricing>Pricing Control>Define Condition Types, and take a look in Define upper/lower limits for conditions.
So then, when I go to functional transaction VK11 for the sales price condition y can’t assign an import out of the limits defined. I need the same for shipment cost condition, transaction TK11, but I can’t find where define the limits, as result, user can load any import without limits.
I hope the explanation is useful.

  • Minimum 4.4 Mbps required for "near-instant" streaming of HD videos?

There have been several threads and posts on this forum with Apple TV (gen 2) users complaining of having to wait hours before being able to watch a rented HD movie or TV show.
I suspect that, in order to get the HD movie or TV rentals to start playing within the advertised 20-30 seconds, you need to have actual high speed internet bandwidth of at least 4.4 Mbps. Here's why I think that:
I rented "No Ordinary Family" for free on iTunes on my computer, so I could see how big the HD file actually is.
The file is 1.44 GB for a 43 minute, 54 second show in H.264 HD, 720p. (you can find all this out by right-clicking on the movie in the "rentals" sidebar category in itunes, and selecting "get info", then "summary".)
So the duration of the show is 2,634 seconds.
    1440 MB / 2634 seconds = 0.547 MB per second.
Convert that to bit rate (1 MB = 8 Megabits, or Mb):
    0.547 MBps = 4.374 Mbps.
Now, in order to get near-instant streaming of this HD content, your actual bandwidth has to be higher than the movie file's bit rate. IE: you have to be able to download the file at a faster bit rate than the file takes to play.
Thus, I submit that, based on the data properties of a real itunes HD rental, in order to get near-instant real-time streaming, you would need a sustained bandwidth of 4.374 Mbps or higher.
This could explain why anyone with actual (not necessarily "advertised") bandwidths below 4.4 Mbps are not getting real-times instant streaming without having to stop and wait every now and then. I'd bet that even people who have "up to 6 Mbps" probably have actual bandwidths that drop below 4.4 every now and then, causing the "hiccups" in HD streaming performance.
Using myself as an example, I pay for "up to 3 Mbps" DSL, but on average I get something between 1.5-2.5 Mbps. Also, any other activity on your network (spouse surfing the web or kid playing an online game while you're streaming an HD movie on apple tv) would reduce the amount of available bandwidth for the HD stream.
My response has been to order faster high-speed internet ("up to 10 Mbps"), which will be installed next week. It's only an extra $5/month for me, and it should help to make sure the youtube and video podcast performance is much faster than it is right now, and I should get the true HD version of Netflix content as well, which I'm not now.
However, it does not explain why some people on this forum who claim to have 12 or 14 Mbps are having a similar problem. I am convinced it is the primary problem for me, though, since it's not just my HD rentals, but my video podcasts that I have to wait a long time for, and the YouTube videos take a bit of time as well, depending on their quality. Netflix is available quite quick, but I usually get quality I'd say is equivalent to DVD (480p) at best, and typically SD.
Does anyone have an experience that supports or contradicts this hypothesis?

Absolutely correct - it's obvious when you think about it - trouble is the advertising blurb makes people assume they get instant video.
IE: you have to be able to download the file at a faster bit rate than the file takes to play.
Yes, and if the rate is slower then it'll buffer an adequate amount of video internally before starting, so that there's enough of a head-start that the slower feed will never run out before teh end of the movie assuming that rate is sustained.
Thus, I submit that, based on the data properties of a real itunes HD rental, in order to get near-instant real-time streaming, you would need a sustained bandwidth of 4.374 Mbps or higher
Your figure is fairly specific to that movie - not all movies will be encoded at the same bitrate - some will be higher, some lower.
This behaviour is nothing new and parallels AppleTV 1 exactly, again the advertising makes people think it's doing something new and clever,it's not.
As an example, with AppleTV 1, as I have a slow connection of 1 Mbps, I would rent on the morning or night before I wanted to view a rental to allow it to fully download, or at least for enough to download and play through without interruption.

  • Runtime Logs for Biller Direct Application

Experts - For Internet Sales Application(ISA), we set up "tracing.isa.runtime" in the Log Configurator to get the runtime log files generated, which would have all the Java Action class flows and the Fucntion Modules called details.
Do anyone know How I can generate the same kind of file for the Biller Direct(BD) Application. What do I have to do to generate the runtime log files for the BD Application.
Let me know if anyone has any idea.
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
    Try to follow below SAPNOTE
SAPNOTE-921409-Enable session tracing in mySAP CRM 5.0 java components
    SAPNOTE-1017756-E-Commerce 5.0-Creating own Log-Trace Files
    SAPNOTE-975115-How to On-Off ECO RUNTIME trace in 7.0 J2EE
You can change ISA with your Biller direct application name and where they have used "com.sap.isa" you shoud use biller direct application package name. (I do not have exact idea about biller direct package name)
If you try to follow above SAP NOTES you will able to create logfile for Biller direct. There is no document which specify only biller direct log creation process. You have to follow above notes with little modification for your biller direct application.
I hope this will help you to create log file for biller direct with little extra work.
    Regards.

  • Export for Web using optimized for "download" or "streaming"?

    Hi,
Exporting for Web have some setting there,i'll choosing the .mov - H264 - and medium low quality - 15 Frame Rate - Checked Frame Reordering, others Automatic and the Audio will be 32.000hz and Mono.
Now,what about the optimizing? Download or Streaming?
What about Self-Contained Movie? do i need it?

optimizing for download or streaming depends on what sort of site you're sharing it on. Will it be streamed or a download file?
It must be self-contained, unless you are going to be streaming it, and hosting it from the machine that the original media is on. Even then I'm not sure that would work reliably.

i just bought an iPad from a friend. I think is generation 1 or 2 not sure where to look for this. Bottom line, I would like to update it to iOS7. Is this possible?  It does not have the option for software update.

    Identify Your iPad
    http://www.ifixit.com/Info/ID-your-iPad
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 7.0.4. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.
You can no longer update to iOS 6.x, or down grade the iOS.

iOS: How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and antivirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.
How to Upgrade to iOS 7
The iOS 7.0 update requires around 2.5 GB of storage space, so if your iPad is almost full, you may need to clear up some space. You can check your available space in Settings -> General -> Usage.
There are two ways to upgrade to iOS 7: You can use your Wi-Fi connection, or you can connect your iPad to your PC and update through iTunes. We'll go over each method.
    To upgrade using Wi-Fi:
Note: If your iPad's battery is under 50%, you will want to plug it into your charger while performing the update.
    Go into the iPad's Settings.
Locate and tap "General" from the menu on the left.
The second option from the top is "Software Update". Tap this to move into the update settings.
Tap "Download and Install". This will start the upgrade, which will take several minutes and will reboot your iPad during the process. If the Download and Install button is grayed out, trying clearing up some space. The space required by the update is mostly temporary, so you should gain most of it back after iOS 7 is installed.
Once the update is installed, you may have to run through the initial steps of setting up your iPad again. This is to account for new features and settings.
    To upgrade using iTunes:
First, connect your iPad to your PC or Mac using the cable provided when you purchased your device. This will allow iTunes to communicate with your iPad.
You will also need the latest version of iTunes. Don't worry, you will be prompted to download the latest version when you launch iTunes. Once it installs, you may be asked to setup iCloud by logging into your iTunes account. If you have a Mac, you may be prompted on whether or not you want to enable the Find my Mac feature.
Now you are ready to begin the process:
If you upgraded iTunes earlier, go ahead and launch it. (For many, it will launch automatically when you plug in your iPad.)
Once iTunes is launched, it should automatically detect that a new version of the operating system exists and prompt you to upgrade to it. Choose Cancel. Before updating, you will want to manually sync your iPad to make sure everything is up to date.
After canceling the dialog box, iTunes should automatically sync with your iPad.
If iTunes doesn't automatically sync, you can manually do it by selecting your iPad within iTunes, clicking on the File menu and choosing Sync iPad from the list.
After your iPad has been synced to iTunes, select your iPad within iTunes. You can find it on the left side menu under Devices.
From the iPad screen, click on the Update button.
After verifying that you want to update your iPad, the process will begin. It takes a few minutes to update the operating system during which time your iPad may reboot a few times.
After updating, you may be asked a few questions when your device finally boots back up. This is to account for new settings and features.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Optimization for wireless video streaming

Hi - does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for optimizing Mac OSX 10.6.8 for wireless video streaming?
I'm using tvmobili to stream videos and for the most part it works ok for me but I'm pretty sure I can make things work better if my Mac was using its resources better...for example, I can stream reasonably well via my 5Ghz wireless connection from a recently rebooted machine. But it seems like perhaps after 60-90 minutes into a video it appears either the Mac or the network has slowed down and the video becomes choppy. (I'm investiagting the network side as well).
    ...amy suggestions?
    Thanks...Marc

We are planning to use aironet 1600/2600 series using video streaming server having streaming optimization..
    1600/2600 AP don't support 802.11ac.  Next, 2600 is 3x4:3.
Personally, if you're going to push HD streaming down, I wouldn't recommend anything other than a 3700.
We've done a similar exercise a few months ago where we lined up between 50 to 60 Chromebooks.  All the Chromebooks were associated to a single AP and we streamed HD video from the site (where we were doing the testing) all the way to the site where the HD video was stored, our DC.  We had no problems whatsoever and the 3700 GigabitEthernet interface wasn't even hitting 40% utilization.  (Our access switches have 1 Gbps uplink to the site distro.  The site distro has a 1 Gbps uplink all the way to the DC.)
When we tried using our cheap-a$$ HP Mini netbooks, we had difficulty getting them to stream the videos even with 5 of these netbooks because the CPU of the netbooks simply couldn't cope.
What I would like to ask is this:  How important is the capabilities to have seamless streaming of HD videos down to the clients?  If it's that important, then don't skimp on the choice of AP.  When you're dealing with wireless, it's more expensive to look at the price of the APs and then regret later than get the best AP for the job.
