Where may I find info on iCloud server error?

Hi all!
Using an Intel-based PC, I tried to sign into my iCloud Control Panel item, and received an error:
"You can't sign in because of a server error" (above).  It was followed by a hypertext link: iCloud status which took me to the main help page, not context-related information.
How may I find out what that means, and why I have never been able to sign into the iCloud app?
Thank you very much,
-a.

  • Where can I find the reports multitier server (reports 3.0)?

Can anyone please tell me where can I find the reports multitier
    server 3.0.4.6.3?
When I try to install the reports 3.0.4.7.0 from the patch 0598
(pat0598.exe) it tells me that I must have installed the reports
multitier server 3.0.4.6.3. But I can't find it anywhere, not
even on the original installation CD.
I have on disk the file r30mts32.exe. Is this the so-called
reports multitier server? Is reports multitier server = reports
server = r30mts32.exe? If so, why is that error occurring?
Can someone please help me on this?
    Thank you.

I agree and find it odd, but then, there is only the most rudimentary and superficial 'notes' -
iTunes 9 also includes many other improvements, such as HE-AAC encoding and playback, more flexibility with Smart Playlists rules, simpler organization of your media files inside an iTunes Media folder, and more.
Nothing like "fixed bug with using..."

  • ICloud Server Error: Can't add/edit contacts + it overwrites AddressBook edits

I originally posted this in the MobileMe forum. I am totally frustrated and disgusted with the unreliable and buggy iCloud. I am hoping smarter people than me can help resolve this. Thank you.
My primary data source is/was my MacBook Pro. It was all synced to MobileMe. (Contacts and iCal). iCloud came along. I "upgraded" to iCloud {the frustrating process of "your account needs to be upgraded, create an appleID..." was a whole different pain}.
To make life simple, I even allowed iCloud to be the source of data for my iMac as well as iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S by deleting everything and letting everything be populated from iCloud. Now, supposedly, all my contacts and calendar/reminder data is in iCloud and all the data on the iMac and iPhones if from iCloud.
Except, I cannot make edits to contacts in iCloud or even Add a new contact. When I Add or Save an edit in iCloud, EACH time I get an ERROR and the error report going to Apple is given below.
Worse, I spent an hour cleaning up the freshly downloaded contacts in the iMac's AddressBook. NONE of those changes went up to iCloud.
EVEN worse, iCloud overwrote the changed fields back to the old/blank fields, wasting my hour of work.
Adding cards in AddressBook on the computer also does not propagate to iCloud, though edits to or changes to iCal DO show up in iCloud. But, adds/deletes/edits to Contacts on iMac OR iPhones do NOT show up in iCloud.
    Your help appreciated. Regards,
    Imran

The rest of the log is at: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3508969 and not repeated here.

I added this comment to a thread about trying to get rid of iCloud once it has been used... it is much harder than you'd imagine... I am sharing it here because it includes steps I took after the problem we are discussing above....
    ====
I love Apple since it started and been a Mac user since it came out. Much that MobileMe was frustrating and had a lousy launch, I thought it was impossible to make something worse than MobileMe. Apple succeeded with this disaster, data destroying, heart burning, stomach churning and hours wasting beast called iCloud.
See iCloud Server Error: Can't add/edit contacts + it overwrites AddressBook edits By IMRAN Happy to have your thoughts on how to solve that nightmare. My last attempt (manually restorying my 5000 contacts in AddressBook, then painfully manually deleting contacts in iCloud {Select All > Delete there gives Server Errors also}. Finally managed. Then resyncing the MacBook Pro to iCloud led to 1000 contacts NOT syncing and no way except manually listing each address list side by side to figure out which ones it missed pulling in. Horror. Disaster. Shame.
For the user who says that turning off iCloud on the Mac and accepting its offer to delete data will delete data only on the cloud, sorry, but, unless I misunderstood you, that is dangerously wrong.
Like an evil spawn of SkyNet and a PC Boot Sector Virus, once iCloud has grabbed your data IT becomes the master of your data, your digital life. Deleting stuff means the stuff on your DEVICE (e.g. MacBook Pro, where you created and have all the ORIGINAL data in that iCloud sucked in) is what will be destroyed. Be careful.
If you're playing with this beast, not only make backups of your data in AddressBook and iCal, but invest in an external drive and clone your whole hard drive.
I am literally having to make a decision tonight, keep my MacBook Pro as the master, and sync via iTunes to the iPhone 4S and 4. I have an iMac mostly for music and video, which it was "cool" to have synced iCal and AB on, though not regularly used. But, after the hours wasted with iCloud, and the repeated data loss, I can live without the iMac being a synced device.
    Hope this helps.

  • Where can i find and download iCloud on a mac?

I deleted  icloud by mistake.  Where can I find and download it again?
    Thank you!

Click the iCloud icon in System Preferences.  Then proceed as described here:
    http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html
Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu on your Mac.
Click iCloud, enter your Apple ID, and select the services you’d like to enable.
After you enable iCloud and enable "Contacts", you should be able to see all contacts currently stored in iCloud.
What did you do on your phone, before the Contacts vanished from your iPhone?

  • Where can i find info of clients without logging in.

    Hai all,
My problem is that i have all the info of a system like server_SID_SysNo but i dont have the client no where can i find the created/existing clients in the SAP System.
One could say that logon to default client 000 and chk in SCC4 thats fyn, what if i dont have a user in 000 so is there a way to chk in filesystem level with out logging on to the system.
    Thanks rajeshwar.

You can use SAP* to login into any client even if you don't have any user id present.
by using a password 19920706 or PASS..
    If that doesn't work, you can login at oracle level and do a select * from t000.sapr3;

  • Where do I find info on how to print on different size projects?

I'm not sure if I'm posting this on the correct board or not. My question is where do I find instructions on how to print on different size papers such as, envelopes and postcards both addresses and return addresses. I know how to print the body of my postcards since I use Windows Publisher but I'd rather not have to use labels. It would be so much faster and more professional to print the addresses and return addresses directly on the postcards and envelopes. I've owned many HP printers and have always been able to do that but can't seem to set my Deskjet 8500 910A.
    Thanks for any help available.

    linadads,
I am happy to help you with your issue regarding printing on envelops. The printer software doesn't carry the functionality to create envelope documents. You will use a word processor for completing this such as, Microsoft word. In Microsoft Word (or a like word processor) it will give you the option to create an envelope with the send from and send to address sections.
    I hope this helps

  • ICloud Server error will not let me sign out

(this is on an iPhone 6)
So Recently I created a new Apple ID because I'd forgotten my security questions. For about three months, I still had that ID signed in on my iCloud, which wasn't a big deal for me as I rarely back up via iCloud. However, whenever it prompted me to sign in, I'd put in the password, which was for sure correct as I changed it twice, it would continually pop and prompt me again. So I put in the password, again.
I Decided I should probably research this problem a bit further, so I went into settings>iCloud. Naturally, I click where my name is displayed. It asks me to sign in. when I do, it kind of glitches by having a window pop up prompting for my password(mind you while its verifying), then for A quick moment you see a check mark next to the password, then the page closes itself, taking you back to the majn iCloud screen. I then get a popup that says "A server error has occurred"
Any Ideas? It would be greatly appreciated! If you need pictures I'd be glad to put them up

If your device is signed into an old ID ("email address") that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library).  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

  • ICloud Server Error

So I've got the same error as many others, that I can't sign in to iCloud via the Control Panel on my Windows PC. (All I want to do is set up Photo Stream on a Win7 laptop). iCloud is fine on my iPad/iPhone, no problem there. But when I try to login to iCloud the returned message reads "You can't sign in because of a server error".
I've read numerous threads relating to this issue, all the proffered solutions seem to assume that the problem is local, that the fix should be applied to the user's computer (turn firewall off, reset netsh amongst other suggestions). However, I tried some experimentation - signing in with a deliberately incorrect password gave me "Your Apple ID or Password is incorrect" - which indicates that the information is hitting the Apple server. I also tried logging in under another Apple ID & got the same "server error" result. So I don't really think that the problem lies on my machine.
Now I still don't have the answer, but given the added information in the paragraph above, does anybody have a possible solution?

Like many people I know I have the same problem as well.
Icloud has been nothing but problems.
I've had to resort to buying a book diary and keeping my apointments in there...I can't afford to run a busines like this. Apple are usless.
    The server responded with
    “500”
    to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.

  • Stupid icloud server error

I try to log in to iCloud, but it gives me the following, "You can't sign in because of a server error." I've looked at the server status, and everything is fine. I have met all the requirements, but still nothing. Help me...

i also have had  this question from last week. I called help to Apple on-line service, but they replied me the problem was at the Telecom company I used...
however, I doubted it,,,,,. And yesterday, I tried to log in my I-tune, the same message showed!!!! How come!!!  Who can help me??

  • Where can I find info on runing HEADLESS?

I'm looking for info on how to run a Mac headless: software, settings ,etc.
I've seen the topic come up, but no articles with step-by-step instructions on how it's done.
I'd like to do run my G4 Quicksilver 933 headless and use it to store files and back-ups for the other two Macs and one PC on my home network.
    MacBook (black) & G4 933   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

When I click on "New" (I could not find an "Add" button in OS 10.3.9 on my Server) It asks you to pick a port name from the list, I presume I would choose "VNC" and type in "5900" in the port # field.
    That is correct.
I also assume this would be part of the step that inlcudes turning on File Sharing, correct?
File Sharing doesn't need to be on for control, only if you want to move files from one computer to another. You can launch any app or open any file on the headless computer.
One thing you may need though is a video dongle. Some systems go black without a monitor attached. See the OSXvnc FAQs for more info on it.
