Where's Encore? I've already watched all the tutorials I can find to no avail.
The information from Dav's tutorials (an Adobe guy) make it sound so simple, as do the other tutorials I can find on YouTube (because the Adobe TV site does not address the issue). But do I really have to download the WHOLE Premiere Pro CS6 simply to gain access to Encore, only to have to delete the Premiere CS6 files from my computer, just so I can use it with CC?? What kind of sense is that?
Why can't I just download Encore and be done with it? I'll tell you why: because Encore cannot be found anywhere in the list of available Apps, or here on the CC website, at least not that I can see, and I've spent the last hour searching for it and have made absolutely no progress. I'm supposed to deliver seven projects on DVD tomorrow for a client, so this is a REAL problem, the kind of problem that makes me long for the days when you could pick up the phone and call someone (there are no contact numbers on this website) or drop a note to support (there is no e-mail address for support on this site either). Of course in this day and age, if there was a live chat option, it would probably not be included in my membership and I would incur additional charges for opening a support ticket. Excuse me for being cynical.
Another beef: I subscribe to CC, but the school I attend runs CS6. I can open a CS6 project in CC, but if I work at home, I can't access the changes I've made in CC because they won't open in CS6.
So, if I have to download CS6 in order to get Encore, I feel I should delete CC and work in CS6 just for compatibility. The problem with that is that I'll lose access to the couple of dozen projects I've completed for clients in CC already, plus the others that I'm currently working on.
Please, someone provide me a fix.
Bro Dan CC Encore CS6 was only included and installed with Premiere Pro CS6. There is no separate installation. You can find more details at Encore CS6 not installed with Creative Cloud - http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html.
In regards to your inquiry regarding compatibility I would recommend posting in the forum specific to the software title you are utilizing. I can still receive icloud ( ME email address) emails fine. I have not changed my settings at all. I have however tried all the settings I can find on the support pages. PLEASE HELP. While using Firefox none of the search engines will connect to a site I click on. All re-direct to something else. Vary rarely, a pop-up bar says firefox did not allow...., but I still cannot get to any site or page by clicking on the link. The only way I can get anywhere is by copy/paste in the address bar. I have tried all the troubleshooting I can find, but nothing changes this.

Had same problem with 10.7. I've followed all the suggestions I can find, restored my computer many times, cleaned the registry... this is the worst software install I've ever seen!
I kept getting the reminder to update itunes 11.1.4 on my Windows 7 laptop. I now forget the error message other than it would stop and say something that itunes has stopped working and to do a manual d/l from itunes. That did not work either.
The suggestion to remove the Apple Software Updater from my programs solved this problem. -
I just bought a ipod touch. I am unable to use it because itunes tells me I have no internet connection (unknown error 306). I have tried all the suggestions I can find, including checking the firewall, the no proxy server is checked, resetting cache on itunes, I even scanned the computer with Registry Easy but nothing worked. I use Mozilla Firefox and have a PC with Windows 7. Obviously, buying a ipod and being unable to use it for 3 days (and counting) because I am unable to register it, is pretty frustrating. Can anyone help?
Did you try all of this:
iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054"
Proxies, parental control settings and software, security or filtering software, or a bad iTunes Store cache can cause this.
To address proxies, Remove Internet Options proxy settings and connect to the Internet without a proxy.
To reset iTunes Store cache:
In iTunes, choose iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (PC).
Click the Advanced tab.
Click the "Reset cache" button.
Click OK and see if the issue is resolved.
Adjust Parental Controls in iTunes:
Open iTunes.
Access iTunes preferences:
On a Mac: From the iTunes menu, choose Preferences.
On a Windows PC: From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
Click the Parental Controls tab.
Remove restrictions on Parental Controls.

Recently, FF has started opening my last tabs when I start a fresh session. I have already checked to make sure that none of the applicable settings are enabled, such as under Options->General: When FF starts "SHOW MY HOMEPAGE" is selected. But for some reason, it opens my last session. The only way I've been able to get it to stop doing this is by having it delete my browsing history after I close the session. I don't want this since I often use my history to re-find information I need for class research. I have made certain that all my settings are the same from before FF started doing this. It only started doing this after the computer was turned off for a long weekend.
I've already searched through the Mozilla help pages and all I can find is how to restore the previous session or similar. I don't want to restore my previous session, I want it to stop restoring my previous session without having to delete my browsing history each time.Using the instructions here:

Need help exporting animation to Wordpress (I've looked at all the tutorials I could find).
Alright, I've been working on a slide show animation for sometime now, but I need to export it to wordpress and I can't exactly understand how to do it correctly. I've even used the edge wordpress plugin, but it doesn't seem to work at all (I tried on two different sites, first seems to be a projram script error, the other site didn't upload anything). I've done a few of the tutorials floating around but none of them make sense to me, I don't know exaclty which parts of code to edit and in which clients to work them in. If someone could help make these five hours of confusion make sense for me that that would be amazing.
Where should I start on trying to get my animation to wordpress?I've come with the same issue myself. I love Adobe Edge and i find it dead easy to make wonderful stuff there, though making it work in Wordpress has become a challenge. I followed the instructions in this video and in this guide and they seem to work only if you happen to use wordpress with a plain theme with no fancy jquery animations and functionality using these libs. I tried intergrating an Edge animation in my wordpress site, though because i happen to use a theme with a slider which uses jquery, when following the instructions step by step then neither the slider worked neither the edge animation itself. I found somewhere that you need to edit some .js libs using the noconflict mode though that did not work either (it was an example for joomla).
I tried installing the Edge Suite wordpress plugin which is still in developing stage. You need to export your Edge composition using the File > Publish tool found in edge in order to import the .aom files. Unfortunatelly no luck with that. I'm still looking for a solution in order to make animations for my website. I sent a tweet to Adobe Edge and they refered me to the support forums. Uhg!
I'm sure there's a workaorund using the .js libraries. Im not experienced with them so i'll have to wait for a solution to come about. I'm sorry for not helping though be sure to check the links above -
Why is iTunes Radio continuously skipping songs, I've tried all the suggestions I can find
iTunes Radio just continuously skips songs on all of my devices - Apple TV, iPad mini and iPad 2 and iPhone 6. I've tried all the suggestions I've been able to find so far:
Recycling the power to my modem/router
signing in and out of iTunes and icloud
deleting both accounts and reading back
deleting my wifi home network and adding back
Any additional suggestions I can try? I really like this feature? I would hate to have to create a new Apple ID or something, I don't even know how my stuff would transfer from one ID to another. Please help!

I moved and changed the address on a credit card associated to my Itunes account. The credit card was still active, however the billing address was incorrect in my iTunes account. Make sure your Itunes account billing and payment information is correct as the slightest error will cause everything to seem like it is working correctly, except iTunes Radio.
My Fix:
In Itunes - enter Account - edit user information - edit payment method (update all information)

When I boot the computer I get the flashing question mark. I have tried:
1.) Holding 'C' to access the 'Startup Utility' but the only thing that accesses is the Wireless Internet access.
2.) Holding [cntrl. option, power button] but that didn't access anything
3.) Holding [shift] to access safe mode, but that didn't access anything
It also suggested loading the 'startup disk' that came with the laptop, but I'm digging through the box and I don't seem to have one.
I don't seem to have access to removing the battery (I, at least, don't see the battery and would have to take the thing apart to access it)

You hold the C key down when booting from your install disc. Hold down the Option key to prompt the Startup Manager window where you can select the startup disk. If the startup disk is not available from that window then it's likely failing or has failed.

It's an "install" disc, not startup disc and you need those discs to repair your Mac or take it to an Apple store or Apple certified repair shop, Since you don't have those discs and you can't boot in Safe Mode (Shift key) you have no way to verify the disk.
Replacement disc(s) from Apple: You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.
And hopefully you removed all vestiges of MacKeeper. -
Everything used to fit. It was only after I removed the music to sync because this is considered a "new" library that the "Other" space appeared to this extent.
Since this first message, the "Other" space has increased exponentially. The first time, after the "restore", it increased to over 9 GB. Later, I tried a minor restore again, and now it's over 10 GB. I've seen someone suggest that text messages are to blame. If my text messages are suddenly taking up 4 GB of space, I think we've got bigger problems.

Registry errors - tried all the fixes I can find, still nothing - help?
I've been getting the registry error message on my iTunes re: no drivers being installed for importing and burning CDs, please reinstall iTunes, blah blah blah. Reinstalled iTunes to no avail. Tried the fix that involved editing the registry, rebooted, restarted iTunes - same error message. Tried downloading drivers from here:

For the record, I now have an HP with an AMD Phenom II X2 B53 processor. iTunes has worked on this computer since I got it, so I don't think that's the problem.I've also tried, after trying the other two things that were supposed to fix the problem, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes AGAIN. I got the message that iTunes installed successfully, but then when it started up, I got the same error message about the registry and drivers and whatnot. I'm about ready to scream.

I used utilities to source my 10.6 snow leopard install disc to my main hardrive, and now when I turn on my computer the apple with the spinning wheel stays on the screen and stuck like that. How do I fix it Help please. I already tried all the commands such as Command R, Holding down the Option key, C and holding down shift at the start up but nothing happens.
initialy All I was trying to do was downgrade 10.7 to 10.6 .You have to consider the possibility the hard drive may be dying. If your data isn't backed up, try one of the tools below:

If MacKeeper corrupted the Recovery partition then even I underestimated its potential for damage. Garbage "cleaning" apps will cause misery but I have not found that the Recovery partition to have been affected by using MacKeeper or anything like it. I doubt that it did so, but I have learned not to underestimate the potential for such things to result in system corruption.
Before concluding your Mac has a hardware failure, try booting OS X Internet Recovery by holding command option r on startup (three fingers). That will force your iMac to bypass the Recovery partition altogether, and convey the ability to create a new one.
An Internet connection will be required (wired or wireless).
At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select Disk Utility. Select your startup volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") and click the Repair Disk button. Describe any errors it reports in red. If Disk Utility reports "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK" in green then you can be reasonably (though not completely) assured your hard disk is in good working order.
Assuming the HD remains usable you can then use Disk Utility to erase it. Reinstall OS X, restore your essential software and other files, and don't reinstall the junk. -

Here are some suggestions:
1) Check the manual the Keithley manual to see how to configure the RS-232.
On some models you need set Factory defaults to USER and turn on the RS-232.
Also there may be a setting for SCPI which you want on (probably on by default).
2) On your PC - open Device Manager. See if a COM port exists and is functional.
You must get this working before continuing.
You can set the COM port parameters by right clicking and selecting Properties.
(On some PCs the onboard ports can be disabled in the BIOS)
3) If step two was OK, open MAX (Measurement and Automation eXplorer).
On the left side, click on Devices and Hardware.
Click on Serial and Parallel.
Go to the COM port you found in Device Manager.
Open a VISA Test Panel.
Now I don't have one I can look at right now, so this is general idea:
Configure the COM port to match the Keithley settings (should be OK if step 2 worked)
Go to the (I think) Input Output tab (you want to send a command)
The command string input should already have a *IDN? entered, if not, type it in.
Click on the Query button to send the command and check the response.
If you get an ID string back (Company name, Model, FW Version ...) then it works.
(Disregard an error saying it did not get enough charcters back.)
