Where's my exported GB song
Hi,
I have problems to export GB songs to iTunes. I did it a few month ago and it worked fine. But now I tried to export a new song from GB to iTunes, but I can't find the song in iTunes. GB works when I try to eport, then iTunes openes but nothing else happens. Even with spotlight I can't find the exported song. May this be, because my iTunes library is on a different partition than GB an ITunes?

GB exports your tune to the iTunes playlist you have set up in the Garageband preferences. If you have not set it up GB defaults to the playlist: <your user name>' s playlist. Open Garageband and in the Garageband preferences click on the export tab. See what is listed in the iTunes playlist space. This will tell you where GB is exporting your file.
The export process is rather unintuitive. Ideally it should export the mix, open iTunes and open the playlist where the tune is exported. All GB does is: export the mix and open iTunes. You have to click on the playlist to find the file.

I am using an iPad 2 with GarageBand installed on it. I want to share my songs. Every help site says to click the "export" button in the lower left hand corner on the "My Songs" screen. I have no buttons at all there. Just a + sign. Please help??

It sounds as though you would like to transfer content from your iPod to an iTunes library. You can transfer purchased content from iPods by following the directions in the article below:
Re-download or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad or iPod to a computer - Apple Support
This feature works only for content bought from the iTunes Store. Any items that you imported from audio CDs or received from other sources won't copy from your device to the iTunes library.

now on the basis of month field in where clause I want to take Export of above tables.

The previous version of Itunes had a function where I could identify duplicate songs in my iTUNES library. I cannot find this function in the new version of iTUNES.
Please advise where this is in the new version?The show duplicates/show exact duplicates features have been left out of iTunes 11. Rumor suggests they will be restored in the next build. In the meantime I have written two Windows scripts to make playlists of Duplicates and Exact Duplicates, either from a selection of tracks or the entire library.
If you want to manually remove duplicate tracks use shift-delete to remove selected tracks from the library as well as the playlist. Keep one of each repeated group of files and don't send to the recycle bin unless you are sure that there are multiple files on the disc as opposed to multiple entries to the same file.
There is also my DeDuper script if you don't want to do it by hand. This can preserve ratings, play counts, playlist membership, etc. which are lost in a manual clean up. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping. See this thread for background on deduping and the script.

this is my first time using gargageband, so sorry if this is a bonehead question...but i went to export my song, and it doesn't show up in the specified playlist or in the main library in iTunes...what am i doing wrong?
Well, then comes the default fix: Repair permissions of your disk and see if that works. Next step, trash the com.apple.garageband.plist file. And tell us if either of those helped!

I noted the OSS note 646681 - Reorganizing tables with BRSPACE in my previous message, already. You don't need any additional effort such as creating script, if you use brspace as I noted in my last message.
Stop the SAP system, but not database then execute the command, below;
1) brspace -u / -f tbreorg -t "CDHDR"
2) At the incoming menu steps, select --> (8 - Table reorganization mode (mode)) .. offline
3) Then continue with "c"
At the end of this steps, table and related indexes will be reorganized.
You can update statistics by using the command, below after you complete the steps, above respectfully;
brconnect -u / -c -f stats -t all -f collect -p 4

Where Photoshop CS6 exports the clipboard and how to delete it
Hello, I have a problem with Photoshop CS6. I made one big file (350x300cm) and I worked a long on it. When closed Photoshop I saw a message "Exporting clipboard" and it was very slow operation. Then, when I looked to my D part of Hard disc it was 2-3 GB less. On the next day, after work with the file - my D part was 1 GB less. Where Photoshop export clipboard? How to free up the space? I saved the file in C part of hard drive and C is scratch disc, Photoshop and my OS are installed on C, so why from D disappear space? Can you help me to bring back these lost space? I can't see any new files to delete. Where are this exported?
I am working on Windows 8 64-bit.When Photoshop "exports the clipboard" it puts the contents of the separate Photoshop clipboard on the operating system clipboard. You can purge it by going to a text-based application, selecting a single character and and pressing Ctrl+C. A search of your drives for *.tmp (and delete found files) should get you some of that disk space back.
While Photoshop is running, you can purge the Photoshop clipboard by choosing Edit > Purrge > Clipboard (or All).
To prevent clipboard export every time Photoshop shuts down, deselect Export Clipboard in Preferences > General. -

Not available in Logic when running in 64-bit mode.. it's actaully a function of Quicktime that Apple has never addressed. You should see it when Logic is booted in 32-bit mode.
