Where is the "stroke options panel" in Photoshop CS6?

Where is the "stroke options panel" in Photoshop CS6? It used to be right above the layers palette in older versions of Photoshop but now it's gone. I'v been trying to find it for an hour and a half and it doesn't seem to be in any of the menus.

If you're looking for the Stroke options of a layer, you can find that by clicking the layer you have a stroke on or wish to have a stroke on, and then clicking the fx icon in the bottom of the layers panel:
And it will open the Stroke options for that layer.
Another option is by clicking Edit at the top menu, and then choosing "Stroke..." (make sure you have a layer selected).
It will then bring up a window with Stroke options on it for that layer:

Where is the terminal "last" command getting it's information from?

I searching for the information that the terminal "last" command holds.
When I execute the "last' command...... I am seeing too little to be real..... something is up..... I need to determine when the information was deleted.
What log file is the last command using? In Mt. Lion, in Lion, in Snow Leopard?

I am continuing to ponder why last at the terminal is given unexpected behavior. I am now noticing the history in last is only for the "last" - no pun intended - 24 hours or there abouts on one of my systems. In the audit directory there are many more entries

Also when I look thru the list of audit file the 15th and the 10th of Mar are missing..... hummmmm...
Any idea what could cause this?
I am suspicion of some sort of hacking but just see any direct evidence of it ....
I have gone an gotten the source code for last at the BSD project but Im' not a c programmer and apple's version is a branch or so it seems to me cause they've got to be different and I'm not sure where to configure last or how to better understand what I'm seeing.
Anyone care to help me understand what could be going on?

Where has the create aac version option gone?

I like all my music in my iTunes to be in the same bitrate so I convert it all using the create an AAC Version option but it's no longer there. Whats going on? It has vanish over night.

That option is still there. Take a look at your iTunes Preferences by going to the drop menu Edit > Preferences, in the General tab you should see and option for Import Settings… and the option for AAC will be there as an option. Take a look at the article below for more information.

Where's the Create button in Adobe Reader?

I'm trying to scan a document with a scanner but to do so I need to find the Create button that allows me to use the scanner. The Create button is nowhere to be found; it's not in the File dropdown menu and the top left of the screen has an Open button but there's no Create button. I have Adobe Reader XI on Windows 8.1.

Adobe Reader doesn't allow you to create PDF files--it's a PDF viewer. If you're looking to create a PDF file from a scanner, you can either use the software included with the scanner, or, better yet, you can use Acrobat. Help, where are the render preferences in Adobe Photoshop CS6

Okay, I admitt, .... I am an idiot that is new to Adobe Photoshop.
But help the new girl out, here.... Please...
Where are the render preferences in Adobe Photoshop Extended CS6.
I searched Adobe Help in Dutch already but they point me towards options that doesn't excist.
Maybe they were there in Adobe CS5 and I am reading an older version of the documentation...
But in CS6 I can only find the option Render and no Render Preferences...

Adobe changed the way video is rendered in CS6. Adobe Media Encoder in now used in CS6 only a subset of the Adobe's full Adobe Media Encoder is included in CS6 is a dll. I do not think you can add new Rendering Presets however you can change some setting when you use the supplied Reddening Presets. Perhaps if you have the Adobe suite and have the full Adobe Media Encoder you can create some presets and add them to Photoshop Rendering presets. I seem some compliants about CS6 Quicktime rendering presets lack the power of CS5. The Rendering presets seem to be stored in sub folders in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Presets\Video\Adobe Media Encoder" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Video\Adobe Media Encoder"

Are you talking about the program for writing scripts for photoshop, which is Extendscript Toolkit (ESTK)? It should be located where you normally find programs with your operating system. You can do a search for extendscript to find the program.

That command was removed from Fireworks CS6, and listed among the deprecated features in this Adobe blog post:

If you still have the CS5 version, you might try copying it over to CS6; perhaps it will still work.

URGENT: Problems with the CREATE JAVA command in SQL

I am trying to publish a Java class to the database and have to use CREATE JAVA rather than loadjava for reasons I won't go into.
However, I get the following error:
SQL> create java class using bfile ('C:\neil', 'SkyNetworkRequestUtil.class');

ORA-22929: invalid or missing directory name
I can assure you that the C:\neil directory exists and the class exists in that directory, so what am I doing wrong?

Did you try using C:\\ instead of C:\?
If this does NOT work, then go into the directory where you have your .class file and
use '.' as the directory specification.

[Solved] Where is the gnu time command?

The manpage for the time command mentions a gnu version in /usr/bin/time, which has more options than the built-in shell version does. To use it, just specify the complete path, but I can't seem to find where the gnu time is installed in Arch. Is it missing, or do I need to install another package? Locate time doesn't list anything close, unless it has a different name.

Where is the simple "place" command in Photoshop cc?

I am using photoshop cc and cannot find the "place" command. All I have under file is "place embedded and place linked. Will you be able to help me?

There are two place options now, Instead of just adding Place Link and leaving the old place option Adobe renamed Place to Place embedded and may have change its operation a bit. Old code that use place still works. And both Place Embedded and Place Linked add smart object layer that have copies of the original file in the layers embedded object. So they are independent from the original. However the Place Linked object is also linked to the original file. If the document is open when the original file is updated and committed the smart object layer will be automatically updated. If its not open and later opened in the future you will be informed that the original file has been updated or that the link was broken because the file was either moved or delete. In Layer menu smart objects several new options have been added one can be used to resolve broken links. I would think if one was to open a linked smart object layer the the original file or the resolved file would be open. If the link was not resolved the object would the be changed to a Place Embedded layer and the file copy would be used. I have not tested this so what is written is just a guess on my part for I do not have a need for Place Linked....
