Where's the sound and music?

When I place the clip/music onto the time line, the sound works fine, but then when I save and exit out of the program and reenter... the music and all the sound is missing. Even though the file is clearly there. When I copy the file over the ones on the time line, it works again... but it is really tedious. I hate to reedit everytime I start working on it. When I click on the music or sound files on the time line, the sequence shows no sign of any sound on the effects window, even though the same file on the left window shows that there is. What's going on, and how can I fix this annoying issue? Everything in CS3 is starting to fall apart on me, and I have no idea why. All of the sound is basically gone, including the ones that belong to the video clips. I can see the file on the time line, I just cannot hear it from there. I can only hear it if I play it from the file list on the left window. I cannot hear any sounds on the time line, any solutions?

FCP X 10.0.6 -- Preview in "Sound and Music" tab not working

All my folders (like Final Cut Pro Sound Effects and iLife Sound Effects and so on) show up correctly in the "Sound and Music" section, but I can't preview the files inside any more - neither by hitting the space bar nor by pushing the Play button in the lower left corner. Sounds play correctly, though, when I drag them to the timeline or to the browser.
Deleted all preferences (PrefsManager by Digital Rebellion), deleted all QuickLook preferences and did all the usual maintanance routines - to no avail.
Anything else I could try? (MBP Retina, ML 10.8.2)

Ich hab den PrefsManager von Digital Rebellion schon länger. Das war das erste was ich probiert habe.
Die Prefs hab ich nun bereits mehrfach gelöscht. Auch von Hand FCPX deinstalliert, nach Anleitung von Apple:
Final Cut Pro X entfernen
Befolgen Sie die unten beschriebenen Schritte für die von Ihnen verwendete Version von Mac OS X.
OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
Wählen Sie im Finder im Menü "Gehe zu" die Option "Programme".
Suchen Sie das Programm Final Cut Pro und ziehen Sie es in den Papierkorb.
Halten Sie im Finder die Wahltaste gedrückt und wählen Sie im Menü "Gehe zu" die Option "Library".
Öffnen Sie im Ordner "Library", der sich nun öffnet, den Ordner "Application Support". Bewegen Sie den Ordner "Final Cut Pro" und den Ordner "Apple Qmaster" in den Papierkorb.
Kehren Sie zum Ordner "Library" zurück und öffnen Sie den Ordner "Caches". Ziehen Sie den Ordner "com.apple.FinalCut" in den Papierkorb.
Kehren Sie zum Ordner "Library" zurück und öffnen Sie den Ordner "Preferences". Bewegen Sie die folgenden Dateien in den Papierkorb:

FCPX hab ich nun bereits 2x deinstalliert und wieder installiert. Die Mac OSX 10.8.2 Kombi installiert und die HD Permissons über Festplatten Manager reparieren lassen.Die Quicklook Prefs auch gelöscht.
Langsam weiss ich nicht weiter, trotzdem danke für deine Hilfe.
PS: Hat denn kein Apple Operator der sich mit der Materie auskennt eine Idee.

I don't know if this will work but it's worth a try. I wonder if somehow you ended up with a short inside of your iPad. Give the things below are trying to see if that helps. Good luck.
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.

Very many thanks Niel. My problem solved in less than five minutes. I've never had to use that command before. I found the folder and copied it - but I'm still no clearer as to where it was!

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

How can I keep iPhone 5 mute and viberated for all the sounds and notifications with the mute button on?

If turn on the mute button, my iphone 5 is mute. But I can not get informed if the alarm or timer ends. iPhone 5 is mute and doesn't viberate. I want it mute but viberate under the mute button.
The Timer cann't viberate with the mute button on. I want it viberates without sound especially when I study in the Liberaby. I need to practice my pace with the Timer. I don't know whether it is because of my mistaken operation or because of the fact that the iPhone 5 can not make it.
I think it should work like this, the mute button can mute all the sounds and notifications and at the same time, the phone can viberate to keep me informed when a new email comes or there is a twett or the timer ends with viberation.

We are editing a documentary and when we open the project at a new computer the sound and clip doesn't match. We have noticed that the problem is that if we have a clip named 0001 on one SD card, it takes the sound from another SD card where the clip also is named 0001. Since we are working with a lot of material and this has happened on almost every one of them, its a huge problem, since we got no time to reimport and redo every clip. Thankful for your help.

Since PayPal does not show what this purchase was for, I have not received the receipt from Apple yet, and I cannot find anyway to look up online what this purchase was for....I need help to find out ASAP what this purchase was. If my account has been compromised or if I have been incorrectly charged for something, I would like to get the issue handled immediately. If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help. Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.

How do i get the apps and music back on my iPod 4th generation after restoring it?

My ipod touch 4th generation was being really slow and crashing on almost every app. I have had it for 1 and a half years. I decided to back everything up and restore it . This worked almost flawlessly; the problem is that i have lost my apps and music.I still have my photos and contacts and the background is the same and the wifi automatically connected. Is there anything i can do or will i just have to download all the apps and music again? Thankyou
