Where should rsclichk run? (Client export)
Hello experts,
I want to run report RSCLICHK to compare tables before performing a client export.
Where should I run this report? Target or source client?
Thanks in advance...
You should run it on the target system provided there and RFC to the source system.

Where should I run Notification Mailer Service???
Hi Friends,
I have to configure a notificatio mailer for Oracle Workflow. I know that I have to configure Notificatio Mailer Service for it, and need to execute a wfmlf.exe. But can anyone tell me where should I run this file, ie. in Workflow database server or in the machine where I have installed Mail Server?
I have a Mail Server (ie. MS Exchange Server) and a Workflow Database Server installed in my network.
Thanks in advance..
Best Regards,
RatheeshHi,

Re Run Client Export Transport Request
Dear Experts,
I was trying to do system refresh of Production data to quality. While executing the transport request in quality (STMS_IMPORT) quality server abruptly stopped. Now after starting the server I am checking the status of the "Client Export - Specific Object" Transport. It shows "Import Running". In import monitor the execution start is showing yesterdays date and status as running.
How can I rerun the TR
Ranjit SimonHi Ranjit,
You can check the import monitor and see if you can cancel the import request.
Once this is done, check TRJOB and TRBAT tables.
On OS level, if you can see abandoned tp processes, you can kill that.

Where should I set up my FTP server if I have no money to spend? I would prefer if someone answers this quickly as I want this site up and running soon.
Ethmoid is right... There ARE free web hosts, but... as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for" and if you pay nothing?
Most free web hosts are riddled with ads, and some are even hosts to malware. DO YOUR RESEARCH before committing to anything.
While some ISP's do provide free hosting, there are limitations with many of them, such as monthly bandwidth and file storage. You may not be able to get your whole site upto the server (depending on how big it is), or it may be down several days a month due to "excessive" traffic. Again - DO YOUR RESEARCH before committing to anything.
There are also a lot of services that run in the range of $4-7 a month for feature filled, bandwidth enabled hosting. Dreamhost is offering two domains for $3.95 a month right now. I use ICDSoft (have since 2003) and they're $7 a month, but they offer a lot for that.
Lastly, you want to look at SUPPORT. If your site goes down, and your "free" host is nowhere to be found.... It's as bad as having no site at all, if you cant get it fixed and no one can access your URL for days on end. -
Can i do client export import between systems with different patch levels
we want to do a client export import between two systems. As I understand the patch levels should be the same in both for this to happen..
But right now I am in a situation where time is a big constrant. The basis patch level is on par. But the rest are not. Can I do client import successfully at this stage. The only thing that may stop it working could be additional functionality between the systems.
I work on XI and there is a huge difference between SP12 and SP15. We were able to do the transports between systems, but as Dev was patched before QA, and the transport was reliant on standard settings not being available, it still went though, but we had to transport it again after applying SP15 to QA.
Again, it probably depends on what System you have running on Netweaver... -
Short dump while client export
Hi,
I am trying to export a client from BI test system, I am getting the below message:
InfoProvider ZSEBCST02 has been changed in the meantime
Message no. UCM0142
Diagnosis
InfoProvider ZSEBCST02 is used in data basis QinetiQ Data Basis Management as the data target of data stream Totals Records. The InfoProvider has been changed since you last saved the data basis. Therefore, the definition of the data model of data basis QinetiQ Data Basis Management is now based on the state of the InfoProvider before it was last changed and may be obsolete.
System Response
The saved version of data basis QinetiQ Data Basis Management will remain active for now.
Procedure
Check the data model of data basis QinetiQ Data Basis Management as to whether adjustments need to be made to the changed definition of InfoProvider ZSEBCST02.
Save data basis QinetiQ Data Basis Management.
The client export process does not start and it throws a short dump:

Where should I put trustedprincipal.conf in
Hi experts,
We have BOE XI 3.1 in our server.
We configured trusted authentication in CMC of our server machine, and created a trustedprincipal.conf in D:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86 of my client machine. I created a jsp file to access bo reports.
I can not approach http://bfphp:8080/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp, just get alert after running the jsp file.
However, we put trustedprincipal.conf in our server machine and remove the file from my client machine, I can approach openDocument.jsp after accessing the jsp file.
Official document says trustedprincipal.conf should be put in client, but we tried it, logon fails. When I put it in server, logon succeeds.
My question is, if trustedprincipal.conf is put in server, can anyone who knows a user of BO system access to bo system via the jsp file. So how can I control authentication of client who access to BO system, and where should I put trustedprincipal.conf in?HI,
this sounds like a general BusinessObjects Enterprise configuration topic. this forum here is for the Integration Kit for SAP.

Query on long running client import process
Hi Gurus,
I have few queries regarding the parameter PHYS_MEMSIZE. Let me brief about the SAP server configuration before I get into the actual problem.
We are running on ECC 6.0 on windows 2003, SP2 - 64 bit and DB is SQL 2005 with 16GB RAM and page file configured 22 GB.
As per the Zero Administration Memory management I have learnt as a rule of thumb, use SAP/DB = 70/30 and set the parameter PHYS_MEMSIZE to approximately 70% of the installed main memory. Please suggest should I change the parameter as described in zero administration memory guide? If so what are the precautions we should take care for changing memory parameters. Are there any major dependencies and known issues associated to this parameter?
Current PHYS_MEMSIZE parameter set to 512 MB.
Few days ago we had to perform the client copy using EXPORT / IMPORT method. Export process was normal and went well However the import process took almost 15 HRs to complete. Any clues what could be the possible reasons for long running client copy activity in SQL environment. I am suspecting the parameter PHY_MEMSIZE was configured to 512 MB which appears to be very low.
Please share your ideas and suggestions on this incase if anyone have ever experienced this sort of issue because we are going to perform a client copy again in next 10 days so i really need your inputs on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Vinod
Edited by: vinod kumar on Dec 5, 2009 9:24 AMHi Nagendra,
Thanks for your quick response.
Our production environment is running on ACtive/Active clustering like One central Instance and Dialog Instance. Database size is 116 GB with 1 data file and log file is 4.5 Gb which are shared in cluster.
As suggested by you if I need to modify the PHYS_MEMSIZE to 11 or 12 GB(70% of physical RAM). What are the precautions should I consider and I see there are many dependencies associated with this parameter as per the documentation of this parameter.
The standard values of the following parameters are calculated
According to PHYS_MEMSIZE
em/initial_size_MB = PHYS_MEMSIZE (extension by PHYS_MEMSIZE / 2)
rdisp/ROLL_SHM
rdisp/ROLL_MAXFS
rdisp/PG_SHM
rdisp/PG_MAXFS
Should I make the changes to both Central and dialog instance as well. Please clarify me,. Also are there any other parameters should i enhance or adjust to speedup the client copy process.
Many Thanks...
Thanks & Regards,

Where should i store all my pics
Hi Guys, I am new to apple and am importing 18,000 photos. Where should i store them. I will use Aperture 3 for editing. Should i put all pics in Aperture and use there library or should i store my pics on the Hard Drive and then import to aperture as need be. If i do this, do i need to then export photos after editing back to sub folders on hard drive. ANy thoughts??

Read up on and use a *Referenced-Masters Library.* Put originals ("Masters") on external hard drive(s) and separately back them up. Then (very important) when you go to import into Aperture select +"store files in their current location"+ on the right hand side of the import window. If you do not select "store files in their current location" Aperture will default to putting the Masters in the +Aperture Library+ (which would then be called a +Managed-Masters Library+ ) instead of just referencing them, and sooner or later your iMac's internal hard drive will become overfilled and you will need to reconfigure to a Referenced-Masters Library.
Do this a few times with test images to be sure you fully understand the process before you go after the 18k images. Aperture will treat each import batch as a Project so best will be to break your 18k images into individual Projects (e.g. "Mary Jones Wedding" or "20091219," etc.) to import them.
If i do this, do i need to then export photos after editing back to sub folders on hard drive.
Unlike Photoshop, Aperture is a non-destructive editor. The Masters themselves are never actually changed. Aperture instead stores your edits in the Aperture Library. You only export when you need edited images for some usage (like delivery of copies of edited images to a client).

Client Export and Import (Speacially Import Procedures)
Dear All,
I have requirement to copy my production client's all data to Quality System's client.
What procedure should I follow?
If I am going to export and Import. I am not getting followings's Steps 2.3 to 2.6.
1. Client Export:
1.1 Run SCC8
1.2. Select Profile for desired copy type (Usually All SAP_ALL or user master only SAP_USER. You will need direction from
the requester as to the correct selection here. Use Profile -> Display Profile to display profile details.)
1.3. Select target System (or group)
1.4. De- Select u201CTest Runu201D (If selected)
1.5. Run Export
- Up to 3 requests are created, depending on the data selected and available:
I. u201CSIDKO00353u2033 for transporting client-independent data, if you have selected this
II. u201CSIDKT00353u2033 for transporting client-specific data
III. u201CSIDKX00353u2033 for transporting client-specific texts, provided texts are available in this client
1.6.Monitor TP logs for errors and export files for growth
2. Client Import:
2.1. Create client (scc4)
2.2. Login to client (sap* u2013 pass)
2.3. Manually add u201COu201D transport then u201CXu201D then u201CTu201D to TMS buffer
2.4. Highlight #1 and use u201CRequest -> Importu201D to launch import tool
2.5. Monitor u201CIu201D file in OS u201C/usr/sap/trans/tmpu201D dir for progress info
2.6. After Import is complete perform u201Cpost processing stepsu201D from client tool (SCC7) So if you have 3 transport requests and the data has been exported successfully then go for an import in quality system
Please let me know how will I Manually add u201COu201D transport then u201CXu201D then u201CTu201D to TMS buffer, Highlight #1 and use u201CRequest -> Importu201D to launch import tool, Monitor u201CIu201D file in OS u201C/usr/sap/trans/tmpu201D dir for progress info and After Import is complete perform u201Cpost processing stepsu201D from client tool (SCC7) .
Thanks for sharing knowledge.
With Warm Regards
DharmendraOnce u login to new client,
to Manually add u201COu201D transport then u201CXu201D then u201CTu201D to TMS buffer
go to STMS----> select the system
At top menu select
Extras --> Other Requests --> Add(here give the above created transport requests, 1 @ each time)
once u add those 3 trasnport requests u need to import them.
Highlight #1 and use u201CRequest -> Importu201D
for that from top menu select Request -> Import(Ctrl + F11)
coming to SCC7. its a tcode. execute the tcode and see.

Where should DNG profile editor install the .dcp file?
Just made my first attempt to create a custom camera profile using the X-Rite color checker passport and the DNG Profile Editor.
Thanks to the excellent tutorial, the process went smoothly. Next I took the final step of exporting the profile (.dcp) file, expecting to find the new profile when I opened an image in ACR. Unfortunately the new profile was not listed in the Camera Profile dropdown menu.
After much searching I discovered that the profile was written to the folder containing the .dng images used to construct the profile. Obviously not where it belongs in order for ACR to find it. I assumed that "Export Profile" would automatically write the .dcp file to the proper location.
Where should the .dcp files be installed for Win7x64 running ACR 8.2.?
Is there a way to establish the proper location as the default in the Profile Editor?
Thanks for your help.Custom-created .DCP profile files go into the following location under your Windows Users folder:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles
The AppData folder is a hidden-system folder so you may need to turn on the viewing of those type of folders in your Explorer folder view options or just type \AppData into the folder address area and hit Enter once you get to your username folder. -
O file not created during client export
Hi,
We are doing client copy via client export import. We used SAP_ALL client copy profile. We were expecting 3 files O,T and X . But we got only 2 files T and X. We checked at the OS level , and client copy logs SCC3. SCC3 shows only two transport request created and OS level has only 2 set of files.
Where is transport request O and its files?
Then we proceed and did the import in target client. But import error happened, it showed import stopped because of ztable were missing from nametab. how to proceed the import? Without solving the O file problem we cannot do the import ?
Thanks and Regards
Syam
Edited by: Syam on May 31, 2010 2:59 PMMark,
Thank you. Points provided.
Hi All,
Client copy completed.
The SAP_EXPA worked fine, and we got O files also as a result. But we did not follow that method because we did not want to affect the system availability and data consistency of the other clients in the same SAP instance. Hence O file import is not done. We transported the missing ztables to target system. We manually created the transport request using se03. Still we had problem while running scc7 after import. For this we used Note 1235955 after post processing
Thanks and Regards

Why cant i see the opc servers on the computer where labview is running?
Hello,
i have 2 Computers in a network. On both computers is installed the NAPopc Server. On the computer where Labview is running, i can not
see the OPC Server wenn i go to ->my computer->new I/O Server-> OPC Client. The box of registered OPC servers is empty.
When i choose the network connection, i can see the OPC Server on my other computer.
Can somebody tell me why? I want to use only on computer for my project...
Thanx, Daniel
Best reguardsHi Daniel,
in your post you're saying that you have the "NAPopc-Server" installed. Did you mean the NI-OPC-Server? As you can see in the screenshot attached you should be able to see any registered OPC server that is registered properly, no matter if it's installed on your local host or elsewhere.
You mentioned that you can see the OPC server on the other computer, so you should be able to see the OPC-server on that machine when you choose the settings-tab and select "localhost" as machine. Is that right?
For further troubleshooting tips look here and here
Regards,
Bernd

then i login again with scc4 create new client and login in that sap* and pass then when i run command stms_import to import all three transport into that client as said my message server gets disconnected correct me i am wrong
or i have to directely run scc7 bcaz the request already in /usr/sap/trans then these error won't occur i have the back up of database
now i am getting error oracle disconnected
RegrardsDear Pavan
I tried last night as you said i made new client as 300 in ides and copy user profile to that
when i tried to configure stms by setting CTC =1 when i configure transport routes i don't find any client number
to provide source and target client
kindly send some screen shots if u have that would great support
.Delete the existing TMS configuration.
2.In 000 client by using the user ddic create TMS configuration using STMS.
3.Click on the system, in transport tool tab add a parameter CTC and set it to 1.
4.Now configure the transport routes, there you can find the client number in consolidation routes.
5.Provide your source and destination client and create routes.
