Where the create or replace packagebody will be stored?
Friends,
can anybody clear this doubt pls?...
writing create or replace packagebody in the sql*plus will be stored in the database.
but if i write the same create or replace packagebody in the forms where it will be stored?
will it store in the database or in temp memory?
thanks
Like Francois said...
When you create a program unit in forms, it will be stored in the form module.
It's not available on the database.
When you call a package in forms, it will first look in the form.
If the package doesn't exist, it will check the libraries attached to the form.
If the package doesn't exist in a library, it will check the database.
I hope this helps...

RegardsAn individual table is not stored in an individual file. Oracle is far more complex than that. Actually, even MS Access is more complex than that.
A table is a logical structure that is stored in a "tablespace". A tablespace is, itself, a logical structure that is made up of one or more data files. A given data file can belong to only one tablespace, but may not be the only file belonging to that tablespace. A tablespace can contain many, many tables, indexes, and or other segments. The physical realization of those segments (say, one of the tables) is in the form of data blocks, but if a tablespace has more than one file, the data blocks that make up a table may very well be scattered across all of the files in the tablespace. Even if the tablespace has only one file, the individual data blocks for a table will be scattered around that file - although groups of them will be logically contiguous, in allocation units known as "extents".
So, first you CREATE TABLESPACE, nameing one or more files to be created in support of that tablespace. Next you CREATE TABLE and specify the tablespace (NOT the data file) the table is to reside in. It is up to oracle internals to determine which blocks of the table go into which files ... and even where within those files.

if i bought my ipod touch 32gb in germany where the voltage is 220v and i live in America where the voltage is 110, i will have to wait to get to my home to charge it for first time or I can charge it here and change the voltage of the battery in America?
please i need help, im worried that if I connect my ipod here, it will burn or sometihng bad.Just connect it to a computer's USB port.
Most wall chargers are dual voltage (110- 220 volts) and only require a plug adopter. Check the wall charger to see if yours is. -
I have a macpro tower 1,1 which I want to give to a friend in France where the current is 220. Will it work on 200?
Right idea, but wrong name for it.
Older power supplies took the raw AC as it came out of the wall and ran that through a transformer -- but the transformer had to be really big and heavy. Then pull Voltages off that and rectify and filter them for the various output Volatges.
A switching power supply is one that uses a very high power transistor to "chop up" or "switch" the input power into a lower Voltage AC wave inside, then steps that up or down through a more modest transformer and rectify and filter it to provide the outputs. It weighs quite a bit less, and is more efficient as well. -
I have broken the glass on my ipod touch. I am having trouble with some of my apps opening when I touch the screen. Can the glass be replaced? Will that solve the problem?
Very likely yes.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 if a 64 GB 4G, $99 for the other 4G iPods and $149 for a 5G. They do not fix yours.

I have used Photshop 3.0 for many years... What is the current, simplest Replacement, that will work on Windows 7?
The currently-offered options you have from Adobe are full Photoshop for $10/month (in conjunction with Lightroom) or PS CS6 for $700/$1000, or Photoshop Elements for $100 or less. Elements is the “Consumer” version of Photoshop.
You can download a 30-day trial for PSE12 from Adobe by clicking the Try link next to the PSE12 icon near the bottom right:
http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html
There are other photo editors that will do similar things, but since Elements is from Adobe it may be a little more familiar. Without knowing exactly what operations you did with your photos, before, no one can answer your question about how similar a newer program might be to your older PS3:

Where the certification or a course will be defined
Hi all,
Can any one tell where the classes (or) Courses and certifications will be defined. whether the course or certification is restiricted to one operating unit.
where we can define a course or certification.
Please help me,
Thank you.Hi
You define the Courses, Offerings and Classes for certifications in the OLM catalogue just like any others. Once they have been defined, you can then define the cerrification. Part of the certification process is to choose the course or courses that make up the components of the certification.
If you cannot see the courses you want, it may be because the Course does not have any valid Offerings or Classes
The view that OLM uses to show courses available to the certification includes looking for 'valid' courses so there must be some classes defined which are possible to enrol in.
Hope that helps explain it.

Where the BP internet role's SU01 data stored in CRM
Hi Guys,
We are creating BUSINESS PARTNERS using a abap upload program . We are using CRM 4.0 620 release.
I have created roles for all the Business partners(All the roles are stored in but100).. one of the assigned roles is <b>INTERNET USER ROLES</b>.
<b>When i select this role for a Business partner in using BP transaction i could see the SU01 roles assigned to the particular business partner under internet user tab screen of the BP transaction.</b>
can some one tell me when i select the <b>INTERNET USER ROLES</b> for a BP <b>where the related SU01 data is picked from and which is the CRM table storing this data</b> .
Will appreaciate an early reply..
Regards,
Sundar<b></b>Hi Sundar,
This is the integration between the BP and SU01.
The SU01 data is not stored in any BP related tables. Only the role is stored in the table BUT000. Entire data is picked from the user tables.
The module 'SUSR_USER_READ' is used to read the user information from the user tables. Details about this can be found in the central person module BUCP_BUPA_EVENT_ISDAT. Hope this helps.

Table where data of a Variant saved will be stored.
Hi All,
In normal Custom reports we will be saving some variants so that we can put the same variant after some time for executing the report. Variant will be having a unique name which will be stored in some table and the data(selection screen entries) which we are saving also will be saved some where in SAP tables. If any one of you has knowledge of those tables please help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Shyam.Hi
VARIT--> Variant texts
VARID--> Variant directory
Using values from Table TVARVC is especially useful in background processing. You do not have to create a new variant for each minor change of values or repeatedly change an existing variant, since you only have to change the values stored in TVARVC.
However, note that every change of a value in Table TVARVC affects all variants using this particular variable.

Where the history of Transaction Codes does get stored?
Today when I was working on one issue in one SAP system on my PC and later on another system observed that the transaction codes (tcodes) which are there in history were the same for both the systems.
Then I started searching for the table or a location where the transaction codes (tcodes) are getting stored which we entered on command line in SAP R3 system. Finally, after lot of search and some reading I found out the location.
This is a simple but very interesting thing to know how Operating system stores the SAP commands.
Below Steps
Let’s first see the list of transactions which are entered on command line. Later we will be getting the same list from OS level.
Logon to your SAP R3 system and see the history of tcodes on command line.
Now find out the location where this tcodes are getting stored at OS level.
Go to Start -> Run -> regedit and click ok. It will open the following screen.
Expand the node HKEY_USERS.
After that expand the selected node and again expand it.
Click on Software -> SAP -> SAPGUIFront.
Please note the path and you can directly open it and then compare it with your systems command line list.
However, I was curious about the all other transactions which are not in this list which user entered on the command line. Hence found one more way to find this data.
For that we need to go to my computer and click on Search and search the following path.
SAPHistory<User Name>.mdb
Once you click on Search it will give you the access file.
So i want know is there any other Tcode or procedure to got the same........!
Regards
Ashish Chanekarfile SAPHistory<User Name>.mdb conatins the transaction history.
this is a Microsoft Access file, but it is password protected... and this is not publicly known. -
Where the result of proactive command GETINPUT get stored?
Hi to all
i am writing one sim toolkit applet for an application.
i am asking user for input (input must be digits only)using GETINPUT proactive command.
Now i want to store user response,but while storing the response
i am getting random value.
I am doing like this;
//this is function to ask user for input
private byte []getInput(byte []input)
ProactiveHandler proHdlr = ProactiveHandler.getTheHandler();
proHdlr.initGetInput((byte)0x00, DCS_8_BIT_DATA, input,(byte)0x00,
(short)input.length,(short)0x0001,(short)buffer.length);
proHdlr.send();
return buffer;
//call to fuction is like this
buffer = getInput(amount);
i am displaying value of buffer as amount.is it so?
or How can i get the value of amount?
Thankx in advance.
Warm Regards
Divyesh.The buffer where the result will be stored is not passed as an argument to the initGetInput.
after you call the proHdlr.send(), the STK Framework will prepare an instance of the Object ProactiveResponseHandler. So you have to get a reference to this instance by doing :
ProactiveResponseHandler prh = ProactiveResponseHandler.getTheHandler();and use it to manipulate the data enterd by the user :
prh.getTextStringLength() : returns the length of the input (number of characters, or bytes)
prh.copyTextString(MyBuffer, MuOffset ); : will copy the entered data to a buffer (MyBufer) at a specified Offset.
after this, you can process the data stored in MyBuffer.
in a nutshell, the first "location" where the entered user data is stored is system internal, but you can copy it by the copyTextString method.

Over-riding the "create or replace" function in WriteToSpreadsheetFile.vi
I would like to modify the WriteToSpreadsheetFile.vi so that it automatically replaces a file, without asking me if it is okay to replace it. i.e. I want my file to be just one line, and not have to append it.
The Write to Spreadsheet File.vi uses Open/Create/Replace File.vi as a subVI. The subVI has a an "advisory dialog" boolean.
Save a copy of the Write to Spreadsheet File.vi with a different name and wire a True constant to the advisory dialog boolean.
If you do not save the VI with a new name and into your directory, the modified VI would be used in any other NI VIs or examples. They might not work properly with the modification. Also your changes would be overwritten at the next LV upgrade.

Unwanted Line Breaks in PL/SQL CODE after 'CREATE OR REPLACE' statements
Does anybody know how to keep SQL Developer from automatically editing PL/SQL code and adding line breaks after 'CREATE OR REPLACE' statements?
It keeps taking:
CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE DEVELOPER AUTHID DEFINER
And turns it into:
create or replace
package developer AUTHID DEFINER
This unwanted linebreak causes our autodeployment processes to break.
Thanks,

I believe nothing for this issue has progressed since it was asked here:
2.1 RC Extra Line Breaks
As there may be approval for some planned improvements to the SQL Formatter feature in 3.2, I logged an enhancement request for you:
Bug 13744858 - FORUM: UNWANTED LINE BREAK AFTER CREATE OR REPLACE SYNTAX
Regards,

But if you have control over your auto-deployment process code, it might be quicker to enhance that to deal with CREATE OR REPLACE on the same or the preceding line. Also, note that if you edit the package DDL to put the CREATE OR REPLACE on the same line with the package name in the code editor, then immediately use Export or Save Package Spec and Body to save it to disk, then PACKAGE <name> will appear on the same line as the CREATE OR REPLACE syntax.
