WHERE THE HELL IS HELP TO RECREATE FIREFOX PROFILE?

I have spent hours trying to recreate my Firefox profile and the only thing I can do is import bookmarks. I want to import passwords, history and other files but cannot. This is frustrating as hell and Im about to go to Chrome if I have to start all over. This is a total pain in the butt now that the critical update for Firefox is now installed and I am back to square one. The directions in the Help forums suck because you have to close Firefox to in order to update it, but once you close it, the instructions go too. Totally stupid and useless. I should not have to go through this BS. Mozilla needs to simplify this process of transferring the user profile without having to spend fruitless hours trying to keep what I had.

You can copy the logins.json and key3.db files from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop to the current Firefox profile folder.
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder
Note that you should avoid copying files like prefs.js and temporary SQLite files (.sqlite-shm and .sqlite-wal) files and remove such files if they are already in the profile folder if you copy SQLite database files.
Also extensions should be reinstalled.

JavaFX! (where the hell have i been?)

A reddit link contained the word JavaFX (which ive never even heard
before) and aside from "where the hell have i been" i had a lot of
questions and tracked down the official site.
Ive always wanted a "better than an applet" capability for Java
for websites. Applets are abysmal. Webstart is great but our Java apps
shouldnt have to jump off the screen and be downloaded - they
should be smoothly integrated like Flash.
This sounds promising but the FAQs dont do much to quell my
very serious doubts about it. Namely:
- Why did you create another scripting language?
- Why isn't Groovy enough?

Where the hell is the Antispam GUI interface

PLEASE don't tell me to use powershell (for anything) I truly truly truly despise powershell. I'd be running Linux or DOS for the past 20 years if I wanted to use the more "powerful" interface of a command prompt.
Exchange 2007 had a lot of features missing in the GUI and they finally brought back some of them such as mailbox sizes. Please tell me we didn't take a huge step backwards with 2013.
The web management is painfully slow - it would be nice if they gave you an option of using the old console on 2013 - one so it would be easy to find things you've been doing for the past 6 years and two so it loads faster.

I do so much agree with you - try to imagine how many system consultants that are waiting for a company to put a decent compettitative exchange clone on the market. The very big mistakes Microsoft does every time an update is going to be released is that they
totally forget user-inputs and suggestions for better GUI and all Microsoft project planners are former programmers that still thinks the nerdy way and their logic expect us to do the same.
Just take a look at Microsofts WEB-site layout - it is the most non-informative website in the world when it comes to information about new products, new productnames, new servers and so on. Microsoft never tells the public it they pull out a well
known feature from a software package to make a new single server package that does the same and a little more. You will have to find out your self on the web or spend a whole working day on a semminar that normally consists of 80% commercial
talk and 20% technical useable information. Waist of time.....
I am a system consultant and have been it for 25 years now - our job (as for SMB's) is to find IT-solutions, implement them and maintain them and keep the IT-costs as low as possible for the customers - that is our job. !!
Exchange 2003 was quite easy to maintain, Exhcange 2007 - horrible and waist of time/money. Exchange 2010 a little better than 2007 but light years from the 2003.
Same with Office software - why pulling out the well-known CUA interface and replace it with Ribbon and not giving the user the opportunity to choose or having both. For those who just spended a fortune to have their employees educated
in Office 2003 and then experience that it is all waisted 2 months later.
Look back and see what happend with Terminal Services in Server 2000 - back then a user was a user no matter where the user loggen on from. Now a user is not just a user - and now the former rather simple job to keep track of licences is a nightmare. I could
go on and on with examples.
For you Boe_d, just have in mind that Exchange 2010 or for that matter also 2013 are designed to be used with Microsoft's new big "baby" Microsoft Forefront - there is the GUI.
I just say that it have been ages since I have been positive surprised with Microsoft.

N97- Where the hell's my memory?

I have an annoying problem.
I recently downloaded the app- 'Memory Status' and realised that I only had about 4MB of memory left (excluding mass storage). Resolving to delete unneeded items, I proceeded to the file manager, and asked it to display items according to the file size. The largest appeared, and was only 17KB. I checked the file size on each and every other folder and file, but added together, they weren't WORTH 4MB put together.
So, what the hell's happened? xD

There are some things you can do to manage the C memory better/phone memory.
1. Clear your browser cache often
2. set different message allocation ( if you have not done so already)
messaging- options- settings- other ( set it to 999, and e memory)
3. Go to OVI store (app on your phone) and change that memory allocation for most apps.
opitons- account- settings- installation preferences
4. Remove Facebook, Accu Weather, Bloomberg, apps from the C drivve and reinstall them via OVI store and place them in the E memory/mass memory
NOTE: If you are using Nokia Messaging application, it can only store data on the C drive so keep that in mind
NOTE: RAM is another issue with N97. Don't keep too many apps running at the same time as it will run out of RAM and either close all applications on the spot or crash the phone and result in restart.
BETTER RAM management : Here are some things to consider
also consider investing in the best taskman 1.99$ in the ovi store or y browser (free) to manage your ram and all the apps that are runnig on the phone that you might want to close if you are not using them.

now y browser is free, it has a great amount of stuff you can do with it, but it is not as easy to use as best taskman and it does not look so pretty- that is if you care about looks over function.

When i click on links in other programs, where the link should automaticly open in firefox, nothing happens. Firefox is my primary.

Example:
software for games, where developers post headlines for news. Those are actualy hyperlinks, and should automaticly open in firefox, when customer clicks on the headline. When i click on a headline, nothing happens. They just stopped working a while ago, which is pretty frustrating. Firefox is my primary web browser.
Please help, becouse I've searched and never found a solution for this issue.

This is a known bug, and has been for years. It occurs when Firefox is your default browser and some glitch (or program) changes that default. Thankfully, there's a fairly easy fix, though it does involve monkeying around in the Registry.
(Note: These instructions apply to Windows Vista and 7 only.)
1. Click Start, type regedit, and then press Enter.
2. Navigate to the following entry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FirefoxURL\shell\open\ddeexec
3. In the center pane, double-click the Default entry, then remove whatever value is there (it'll probably be a weird string of numbers and commas).
4. Click OK, then exit Regedit.
5. If Outlook and/or Firefox are open, close them, then restart them.

I am using windows 7 pro this issue has drove me crazy for some time, now finally it's fixed by doing the exact same steps as above, hope this works for everybody that is having this problem. I just had to share this with my fellow firefox users. :)

Where the hell do the system.out.println s go ??

I am using 9ifs 9.0.1 in windows accessing ifsservers through jsps.
I am wondering where will the SOP 's be printed whil accessing the ifsserver through jsps 's.
I guessed it was at the apachev jserv log files. I turned the log on and also checked all the flags - info, debug, etc.
Even then i cudnt fing the SOP 's getting logged ...
Can anyone give a clue...

Have a look at the $ORACLE_HOME/9ifs/log/Node.log file.
(If you use system.err.println, you will find them in the $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs/error_log.)

Where the hell is N85's update?!!!

It's been 5 months since the only update & this phone is buggy as hell! I can't even listen to music right, it hangs & gotta remove the battery & everythings completely messed up! Sometimes it bothers me as much as I change to my old 6630! Nokia where's your respect for customers?! Where's the fix for these bugs?! Just selling cheap quality products isn't the way it works, you lose your customers, I not gonna buy any other Nokia phones! I just wasted more than 600$ on a broken phone.

I feel your pain. I don't know what the old firmware was like because i got my phone in march 2009, after the last update was released so never had it updated. 11.047 is the current version. It is very buggy, i have never had problems with my old phones. My K850i has updated itself 4 times over 18months of ownership though!
I wish Nokia would hurry up with an update but it seems like they're just pushing forward with their other phones such as the n96, n97, 8300 or whatever it's called etc. It's like they've abandoned the n85. It's not even on sale much anymore.

The config setting (browser.tabs.onTop set to false in about:config) is not working in Firefox 29 -- Please have the Developer Team fix this.

Where the HELL is the shift key on the Nokia C5 00

Please, please can someone help me.
I'm trying to get Best Screen Snapt to work but I can't set up a shortcut key because I can't find the shift on the C5. Please can someone get me some advice?

Are you referring to this C5? http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_c5-3122.php If you are, there is no shift key on it. What you do is go to the options menu of best screen snap and change the key needed to use it. For example on my 5800, I set best screen snap to use the camera key. I just turn the app off whenever I dont need to make screenshots.

There is this mysterious impl_layout. I have no clue what this method should do! Does the parent define the positions and sizes of the children, or the other way around? What do I have to set for the children, when I provide a impl_layout? Why is Sun not explaining all this stuff?
How can I make a background image growing with the size of the Container? I do not want to bind the image size to the size of the stage, I want it to bind to any parent node, not only to the root...

That's the reason why it is not documented. Where did you find it?

You want to put an ImageView in a Group and scale it based on the size of the Group, correct? You can try the variable boundsInLocal of the parent node for this. for some reason the download page keeps disappearing from the webpage. This is beginning to anoy me and I might stop using firefox all together if this continues. Make it freakin' simple to download or I will stop using firefox and stop installing it on my users' computers.

Dreamweaver asks you to brouse to the exe file. This is what the target says, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" I open the MozillaFirefox folder and is contains a numer of files, no exe file. I searched all those files a hundred times and no exe file. Dreamweaver can't see it either.

In my form I have a multirecord block.I have displayed the
property of scroll bar to true, set the scroll bar canvas, the x
position, y position width and height. when I run the form the
scroll bar is displayed.
I generated the form and closed the form. but the next time i
open the form in the forms builder, I scroll bar's height
automatically become zero.
It's not that anybody is trying to fool me by manually
changing its height to zero, because i am the only user at my
home.
Is there anyone who can help me out.
