Where to buy data cable for W700ds

the fingerprint sensor in my W700ds (with color sensor, fingerprint sensor, pen tablet) doesnt work right now. I found that a cable under the palm rest is bad, which connect the color sensor, fingerprint sensor and build-in mouse touch pad. Just what to know where to find a cheap replacement part.

Putting my Mac Pro onto icloud synching contacts resulted in duplicate and triplicates of the same cards. No micro data cable for my Nokia 5230

I bought my new 5230 online from Vodafone a week ago. I wasn't aware there wouldn't be a data cable! Vodafone don't sell them online and as I haven't full mobility, it's hard for me to source one. My husband bought a micro usb data cable for me, but it was too big for my phone. There is no specific information about which data cable I need (is the a code for this cable?) in the handbook that came with the phone. Can anyone help me please?

Data cable is not a part of the sales package of 5230 Look here , the device comes with a Micro-USB connector so almost all devices data cable which have the same connector will fit one to be precise you can look for this one.

Have you checked the Connectivity? If the device connects on wrong type of usb connection, the PC Suite cannot access the device.
Choose Settings>Connectivity>USB data cable> PC Suite from your handheld.
Should work, if the menu-line is correct. I'm running a 5310 on S40 with firmware version 05.81.

Usb data cable for 9210

I have had my 9210 since they came out and had lost my serial cable, do I bought a usb cable off ebay. Although I have downloaded both the usb drivers from nokia.com neither my Win98SE pc or Win XPpro notebook will recognise the usb cable and connect to the 9210. The PC Suite keeps trying to connect using COM1-4 or IRDA Is there any other drivers I can try, the cable is not stamped Nokia, it just has a silver label on one side of the interface block saying USB data cable and on the other side USB-DATA NOK 9210. I believe it's is a normal ribbon cable, not fancy stuff because we are using SATA now that why vendors stop selling it. Well I know where I can get but you need at least 15hrs flight to get to my place. My suggestion, it's an old machine, buying a new external optical drive now may be a cheaper option and save time for running around. External ODD's are cheaper than you thought.

6111 data cable for mac

Can anyone tell me where to get a usb data cable that is compatable for a mac running os x 10.4.11 as i want to download itunes onto my phone. Have tried a couple of bluetooth dongles but they do not work on mac.

USB is USB - there cannot exist a USB cable that is not compatible with the MAC. the cable is the transfer medium, often called a "channel" in information theory terms. there is a good and proper analogy in asking for "air that is compatible wifi WIFI on my MAC", since wifi uses the air as the information channel.
in other words: if you find a USB cable that physically connects between your phone and a standard USB port, you are safe in assume it is MAC compatible.
the REAL question is, "is your phone MAC compatible"?

macosx has built in support for ISYNC and your 6111 phone.
sadly, this doesn't get music onto your phone.
nokia provides software for this, but i dont see your phone in the supported phones list here:

this leaves you with USB Mass Storage Mode - if your phone has this feature, you simply plugin the usb cable and any computer that is connected to your phone will see it just like a usb thumb drive, or a usb external harddrive. macs and windows (and, while we're at it, linux, beos, bsd, etc) all support this natively with no extra drivers of software needed.
now for the fun part: you say that "bluetooth dongles didnt work" - what exactly do you mean? we're you able to transfer files but not play them? if you transfer files via either bluetooth or USB Mass Storage Mode, you'll have to manually place the files in the correct location, as well as refresh your music library on the phone.
let me know if this is your problem, and i can help you salvage your bluetooth dongles as well.

I think the fine print says DVD Player support requires 10.3 or higher. But you can still play DVDs in the original drive you have, and are looking to add a drive in the empty bay, right?
Also, Patchburn is available for 10.2 to add native burning support, or you can maybe find an old version of Toast (5 ?) for 10.2 that should allow you to burn to the drive.

I agree with the suggestion to upgrade to 10.3 or 10.4, if you can, but you should be able to make this drive work in 10.2 (and still use the original for OS 9 and DVD Player) and decide to do the other upgrades later on if you want.

For output from your MBP, you will need to tap either the DVI, mini display port or Thunderbolt port, depending on its age/model. This will connect to the cintiq 12wx via whatever input configuration that they have. I do not know if they supply and cables or not. If it is a VGA input, there are a multitude of adapters available. OWC or Newegg would be good sources to get the proper cables or adapters.

i recently bought an Iomega external HDD for time machine, it's a usb based drive, i really regret it because it's so slow. Could i just buy a firewire cable and use it on the drive so it can go faster?

I've got four external FireWire 800 drives attached to my G5 tower. I installed a second FireWire PCI Express Card on the G5. They pretty much rip over the USB 2.0 I had before.
Only comment I have is that if you use Time Machine and a FireWire 800 drive, make sure that it is connected directly to a Mac FireWire 800 port and not daisy chained to any other device. If it is daisy chained, you may get one of two issues - a very very very slow initial backup with a potential failure to backup. I learned the hard way and when I direct connected my backup drive to its own port, it cut the initial backup time by 75 percent and did not fail.
I use my Mac for my work and have a lot of applications and data so it took about five hours to run the initial back up. Without the direct connect, it ran for about 26 hours and failed near the end of the attempt.
Just one man's experience, hope this helps.

Here is what will work using your existing 4-3 cable and an extra 3.5mm cable. First unplug all the cables from the back of your card and your woofer. Then plug your new 3.5 cable (make sure you are using a stereo cable and not a mono one) into the black on the back of your card and the black (rear speakers) on the back of your woofer. Then reverse your 4-3 cable that came with your speakers. Take the 4 side of the plug and use that end on your card instead of the speaker side. With the 4 plugs hook the green plug to green on the card, orange plug to orange on the card and black plug to grey on the card. You do not need to use the grey plug, so just let it hang there or whatever. On the end with the three plugs, on the back of your woofer hook the green plug to green (front speakers), orange plug to orange (center and subwoofer) and the black plug to black (side speakers.) This is the only way that it would work for me. Simply unhooking the grey on the subwoofer and running an extra cable from there to the grey on the back of the card did not work for me. It has to do with the way Creative has the 4-3 plug wired and it combines rear and side speakers. You will notice this if you look at the colored plugs and compare the number of rings on the male plugs; some have two and some have three for the different channels. When I simply run an extra wire from grey to grey it still cuts out half my speakers. The above way I outlined works awesome and gives me true 7.1 sound. Good luck!
