Where to DL the LiveConnect SDK package
Does anyone know where I can obtain the LiveConnect SDK package by Netscape? I have search Netscape's site as well as the search engines and have been unable to trace it down. All I get is documentation on how to use it! And I need the classes in order to compile some source code that I have that does a call to netscape.javascript.JSObject.
Thanx!
Lone Wolf
I can't find LiveConnect package anywhere(netscape/sun site and netscape/mozilla installed directory and so on...).
I just find the source of LiveConnect package in http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/js/src/liveconnect/.
I know it is not you find.
I need LiveConnect package too.

Where to download the J2EE SDK?
I'm dumbfounded. When I try to find the J2EE SDK for download, all I find (on the regarding download page) are Sun's App Server, the J2SE SDK, J2EE samples and the J2EE API docs. Where the heck do I get the J2EE libs? I want to write a servlet, not to install an application server.
I knew it was around last year, where did it go?since enterprise javabeans is a key part of the J2EE concept, you will need an application server to be able to run enterprise applications. That's why it's bundled with the J2EE SDK.
I don't think there is a J2EE SDK download without the application server.
The download should probably not have been called "Application server" though, since it seems to confuse a few people (including me). It should have been called something like "J2EE SDK w/ servlet, jsp, main, ejb (etc) API's and Sun Application server". -

Where is WebDBM, the web tools package?
I am looking for it. It was listed on the old SapDB site, up to version 7.4, and now I see trace of the GUI, Studio, but where is the WEBDMS for MaxDB 7.6? Thanks!
Hi Jean
Web DBM is no more available. It is only available for SAP customers for the version MaxDB 7.5 and 7.6. In this case please consider corresponding notes and open an OSS ticket.
Web SQL is still available with the WebJTools package.

Where to get the BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK - Java Libraries
Hi All,
I have installed the Crystal Report Server XI R2 but where to get the java sdk that I will use in my client j2ee web application?
These are the folders in my CR Server directory.
/BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5
/Business Objects/common/3.5/java/lib
It seems that I will get the jar from this folder but what are those jars?
/Business Objects/common/3.5/java/lib
What are the list of jars that my client web application used?
Basically in doing my POC work I need these library imports
<%@ page import="com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.*"%>
<%@ page import="com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework.*"%>
<%@ page import="com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.infostore.*"%>
<%@ page import="com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.managedreports.*"%>
Thanks in advance.

From the packages that you have included ,it seems that you are using managed RAS SDK for the functionality that you want to implement.
Here is a listing of the JAR files that you would require in your RAS application. Please note that you would require the enterprise jars and the Crystal connection jars.

For pure AS3 development do we still need to overlay the FLEX SDK?
Hi Guys
I've found this whole SDK overlay business a mess and very confusing. I've found this document
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/ane-android-devices.html
which states
"The distribution of the AIR SDK with ASC 2.0 is for pure ActionScript development only. It should not be combined with an existing Flex SDK.
To support Flex application development with newer versions of the AIR SDK, an AIR SDK overlay distribution that does not include ASC 2.0 needs to be overlaid over the Flex SDK bundled with Flash Builder 4.7."
So if we are doing pure AS3 development there is no longer any need to do any 'overlaying' of one SDK Folder onto another. We just need to get the latest AIR SDK with complier ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html )
We should then update the AIR SDK if using Flash Builder via ( http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder. html ) (Note it still uses the term 'overlay' but you are not really overlaying but replacing).
Is this conclusion correct. Do we just need the SDK with the new compilier and nothing else ?
Can someone from Adobe confirm please ?
Thanks
PS - I've asked this question on the Flash Builder Forom but there's been no response.Yes, that's correct, for pure AS3 development you need not use the Flex SDK overlay. For this you should use asc2 compiler available at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html . Also below are step to overlay your AIR SDK with Flash builder 4.7
1. Exit Flash Builder.
2. Back up the AIR SDK availabe at Application/FB4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/ by copying the entire directory and rename it to something AIRSDKversion. Now, you have two folder AIRSDK(default one) and AIRSDKversion(copied one).
3. Download the appropriate AIR SDK file for your operating system e.g. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html unzip and save it on your MAC OS X.
4. On Terminal, run the below command
sudo ditto /path/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac /Applications/Adobe\ Flash\ Builder\ 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK
/path/air3-8_sdk_sa_mac -> path where you downloaded the AIR SDK
/Applications/Adobe\ Flash\ Builder\ 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK -> path where you overlay the new AIR SDK
5. (Optional) To access the new AIR 3.8 APIs, update your application descriptor file to the 3.8 namespace.
To update the namespace, change the xmlns attribute in your application descriptor to: <application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/3.8">
6. (Optional) To ensure that the output SWF file targets SWF version 21, pass an additional compiler argument: -swf-version=21.
Hope this will help.

Where are the standard java packages io,util etc found in JRE
hello,
can u guys tell me where the standard java packages io,util found in the JRE.
is it the rt.jar file??
as i need to set the path in my applicaion to it coz, my application after running generates a .java file and then compiles it and creates a .class file on the local machine every time it is run.You want the <JRE Home>\bin directory as your path if you use the JRE to run the class. Eyeball the SDK bin directory, find the same directory in the JRE structure, and set your PATH to it.

Where is the release SDK?
I downloaded the release Mosaic server and it starts fine.
However I need to install the SDK. It says it is included in the DL but the only file was the jar for starting the server.
In previous releases I always needed to install the SDK and the documentation seems to indicate this is no different.
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/enterpriseplatform/10.0/InstallDEP/WS0b373c8e7f652f14-67f2af34 1302748b0c9-8000.html
But I can't find a released SDK for DL anywhere, where is it? Should I just use the es-sdk-pkg-1.0.186 sdk from the prelease version I have?
Also I noted there is no tooling update over the 1.0.44 eclipse plugin, is that correct?
Lee BurchYou need to follow the instructions in "Installing ADEP Experience Services", specifically "5 Deploy Experience Services SDK and Samples" (well, actually 5.2 and 5.3)

Select Packages > Public > Adobe > Digital Enterprise Platform > 10.0 > product.
Click Download next to the es-sdk-pkg-1.0.XXX.zip package.
Click Download next to the es-samples-pkg-1.0.XXX.zip package.
5.3
Go to http://[host]:[port] and click Packages. The Package Manager screen opens.
Click Install next to the downloaded es-sdk-pkg-1.0.XXX.zip package.
Click Install on the confirmation screen. When the installation is complete, a message is displayed in the Activity Log pane.
Go back to the Package Manager screen and click Install next to the downloaded es-sdk-pkg-1.0.XXX.zip package.
Click Install on the confirmation screen.

Where do I get the Gateway SDK for developing custom Filters?
Hi,
Where do I get the gateway SDK for developing custom Filters?
Regards,
Earnest A ThomasHi,
There is not actual SDK to download, its in your installation already. The JavaDoc of all classes are in \doc.11122\javadoc in the ZipFile, http://download.oracle.com/docs/cds/E50612_01.zip (From page: Oracle Enterprise Gateway). There is an online documentation including a tutorial at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E39820_01/doc.11121/gateway_docs/content/general_filter.html
There should be some simple pre-made filters with source code somewhere but I think you might need to contact support to get your hands on those as I can't find them.
Cheers,
