HT2703 Where to download Bonjour for Windows?

In an attempt to end the many Bonjour errors I'm getting on my Windows 7 PC I followed Apple's instructions to uninstall & reinstall. But now I can't find where to download the s/w. All I can find is Bonjour Print Services for Windows. That's not what it was called on my PC & the s/w I uninstalled was at release 3, not 2 which is what Print Services is at. Thanks for any help.

Hi There,
In order to download / install Captivate 8 32 bit, you have to download 2 files ( .7z and .exe ) at same location/ folder.
Once both files downloaded completely then you have to run .exe file and it will extract .7z file first and then it will initialize the installer. You do not have to open .7z file.
Let me provide you the download links of Captivate 8 32 bit :-
Open the link mention below in any Web Browser say Internet Explorer

Sign in with your Adobe id and Password, then you will be redirected to download Web Page of Captivate 8.
Do not click on Download. Kindly let that window open as it is.
Now Copy and paste the link mention below in the new tab/window of the same Web Browser in which you have opened the above link.

Then Save the file.
Do the same for the link mention below and save this .exe file as well.

NOTE: Wait for both the files to finish download and then run the .exe file.
Once you run the .exe, it will start extracting the .7z file and will provide Captivate 8 folder on your desktop which will contain setup.exe. Run this setup.exe to install Captivate 8.

I'm going to be doing an online class where students will need to have QuickTime on their computers to view movies I'll be playing in the class. I found the page on the Apple site for people to download the current version of QuickTime if they are Mac users, but where is the page for Windows users? I need to post this on my web site for them to access this program if they do not already have it.

Actually, the link is exactly the same. If you are on a PC and you go to that URL then it will offer you the windows version. Somehow it detects what OS you are running and then offers the correct version to you.

Bonjour for Windows download location

Hello.
I would like to download Bonjour for Windows. The target machine is Windows XP.
When I follow the link http://www.apple.com/bonjour I get redirected to the Mac OS X product page. I have downloaded the small Bonjour package (ReadMe, DLL and .EXE) but would like to have the complete set of files, which creates the icon and wizard on the Program folders.

And yes, over the last 3-4 yrs the structure, knowledge base, how to find recent technical notes, the "disappearance" of or lack of new Developer Notes, and harder to search and find articles. There does seem to be a new structure and "notes" that look like.... HyperCard Notes! for tech notes.

Hello, I downloaded Bonjour for windows from apple downloads, but there is just the update in the website. I'm using windows xp (laptop) desktop (G4 digital audio). Where I can get Bonjour? besides the update.

You can get it from versiontracker, but I think they're all the same. I know the Apple site says "update", but I believe it includes the entire package and not just updated files. So, I don't think it expects you to already have Bonjour, it doesn't build on anything.
There are several places that you can download Bonjour for windows from the Apple site. I usually just type in "Bonjour for Windows" in the search window on the Apple/Downloads page. Here are the ones that I know about:

I've downloaded all of these and the files are all the same. You might just download the file and try to install it. I don't think you'll have a problem. At least I didn't when I did the same thing.

Uninstalling and then reinstalling iTunes should also reinstall Bonjour.
For the reinstall, use an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

If you'd prefer not to uninstall iTunes, try the following procedure.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Go into the folder and doubleclick the Bonjour.msi (or Bonjour64.msi) to do a standalone Bonjour install.

Battery gauge error running Power Manager for Windows XP version 5.20

Last week on my R61 (8932-CTO), Update Retriever and System Update requested that I download and install ThinkPad Power Manager for Windows XP version 5.20. After rebooting, I immediately received an error box with the following message:
An exception occurred while trying to run"C:\Progra~1\ThinkPad\UTILIT~1\PWRMGRTR.DLL,PwrMgrBkGndMonitor"
As a result of this error, the battery gauge no longer displays correctly. The space where it used to be is blank, but clicking the empty space still gives you the option of starting Power Manager.
What is puzzling about this is that version 5.20 is not available in either in the Driver Matrix, nor on the Downloads and Drivers web page. The version of the software that is presented there is version 5.13.

Another interesting point, is that this version of the driver has, as yet, not been presented to me on my R500 (2714CTO), although both machine types are listed as supported models.
Why are Update Retriever and System Update downloading software that apparently has not been officially released yet? Why is this only happening on my R61 and not on my R500?
And last of all, why has his software been released when it seems to have an obvious problem?
Any explanations would be appreciated.

I afraid you will not be able to use the scanner with Windows 8.1, it is not compatible with the OS.
Regarding VueScan, I afraid it would not be an option as well, the application only support your scanners if there are drivers for the OS:
If there isn't an HP scanner driver at www.hp.com for your operating system, then unfortunately VueScan won't work with this scanner.
You may try using the Vista drivers by running the drivers using the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter as listed below.. select Not Listed from the programs list and browse to the installation file for Vista:

Spotify 64 bit download link for windows 7

I can't find the download link for spotify 64-bit - I remember being asked what version of spotify to download, 32 or 64 bit, and i idiotically chose 32 bit. So I uninstalled it to install the 64 bit but it didn't ask me this time and went staright to download the 32 bit...again. Could somebody post the link for specific spotify 64 bit? Thx.

I just double checked on Mac and it seems within the last few versions they added a 64 bit version. So it's very likely there is a 64 bit version for Windows too

Bonjour for Windows installation issue

When running the installer/setup application for Bonjour for Windows on my PC laptop, the installer quits and gives me the error message: "Explorerplugin.dll failed to register."
How do I resolve this problem?

I'm having a very frustrating experience installing Bonjour. It seems to start the installation fine and then it stops and say it was interrupted. It gets to the point where it is Publishing Product Information and quits.
good gracious. i'm most familiar with that one from older versions of iTunes and QuickTime installers that were based on InstallShield technology ...
is the Bonjour Installer InstallShield-based? if so, perhaps try checking through the following document:
iTunes for Windows installation quits with 1607 error, while publishing product information, or is interrupted
(on the whole, this is much easier to deal with on XP Pro, rather than Home, if it is what is afoot.)
