Can anyone tell me or have a link where i can down load microft for mac Lync 2011. Ive been to the microsoft linkhttp://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads but I cannot locate the download anywhere. If I could get a direct safe link it would be appeciated.

but just like AH said above, you can tap+hold/delete and find the files if they are there.
with the PDF Reader Pro: once I download and view a file, it will always show in that reader until I delete it.
when I download and open a pdf, it gives me the option to open it with a list of the products that I have installed that can view them.

Can't Download Microsoft for Mac?!

I have a brand new MacBook Pro and i was trying to download microsoft office with the disc and everything I got at best buy... Long story short... it says i have to "Quit the following software to continue downloading" Well i have tried closing all the safari windows completely and trying, with no luck, so i do the same AND shut off wifi on top of that... NO LUCK!!! HELP!

if you're trying to install office 2011 via cd/dvd and having a hard time - try this - go to microsoft and download office 2011 from there and install it once the download is done and type in your product code when it ask for it..
also if you're running mountain lion - go here - system preferences - privacy and security - general - allow applications downloaded from - put a dot on anywhere...

Where to download Safari for Mac

I had to delete Safari as it refused to work after I dropped my computer. Now I can't find it on the website. Only the version for Windows.
I can't believe it's not there.
Does anyone where can I download it?

Just a positive message: Like a lot of people I suffered from Safari crashes (No input managers, No SIMBL, or add-on modules.)
The only simple way I found to revert to a previous version (of Safari) is to download safari from rapidshare, unzip en replace Safari in /Applications. (I zipped the current version before to be safe.)
Installing from Apple's download, extracting with Pacifist, etc. is too complicated. Just download from rapidshare, extract, backup your current copy of Safari and replace it with the downloaded version.
Like someone wrote, it might not be the most legal way to acquire Safari, but I consider this a major mess created by Apple, and downloading an older version to patch it and continue working is an acceptable workaround.
This is the easiest way to get back to a working Safari on PPC 10.4.11.

Serial numbers for older versions do not work across platforms.
At one time, when the product was current, you could get Adobe to switch you to the other platform, but I don't know whether Adobe will do that for old versions. I do know it's not going to work if you try to use your Windows license for a Mac installation.

Do you have a backup. If so you should be able to restore it from that. Otherwise you can reinstall OS X. See Carolyn's post in I accidentally deleted iBooks on my Macbook Pro (late 2011) running on OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite. Will iBooks be reinstalled if I install the next OS X major update once it is out?

Where is the 'firefox for mac' download button?

I've read the mozilla article on downloading firefox for mac, and it shows a download firefox for mac button. As suggested I went to http://mozilla.org/firefox , but there is no such button there, nor was there any indication that the promised 'detecting the right firefox version for your computer' took place. Do I just go ahead with the install or do I need to look elsewhere on the mozilla site for that firefox for mac button?

You have four options that I know of.
1) Use an external DVD drive that will work on the MBA. (Apple's external Superdrive for MBA)
2) Use a remote disk connection, using another Mac with a DVD drive, and sharing the drive with the MBA.
3) Download Office from Microsoft's website, and then use only the registration code that came with your DVD purchase to authorize the registration.
4) Copy the contents of the Office DVD to a USB flash drive, using another computer. Then install from that flash drive.
Maybe someone else has an idea, if none of the above will woek for you.

SInce you seem to be asking everybody, I don't recommend any particular one over the other. I have both installed on this computer along with VirusBarrier X5 and MacScan. Numbers is a joke compared to Excel. If I were you I would find a class/tutorial first, find out what they use (and it won't be Numbers) and see if you need the Mac or Windows version of Excel. Note that Excel is not sold as a seperate product from the Microsoft Office suites.

HT1338 I have Microsoft for Mac 2011 on my OSX Lion. I want to take advantage of Word Art and be able to flip text to print on fabric. Can't seem to find how to do this... Help, please!

I need to make t shirts for a family reunion. I cannot reverse the text (so the letter will print on a T shirt correctly). I have tried everything including u-tube videos. I could swear I have seen graphics (such as various banners on Word Art as shown on u tube videos) on one of my toolbars but cannot locate them now (would like to use them also).
Is anyone familiar with Microsoft for Mac 2011? I also have an HP Photosmart printer that should be able to reverse print but that too is defeating me but I don't give up...

For any object (photo, WordArt, etc.), right click on the object and choose Format Shape. Choose 3-D Rotation in the left column. In the X field, type 180 and press tab. Click OK to accept the change. Here, I reversed some WordArt text.
