Where to find a new flash plug-in (not Adobe product)?

I suppose that Adobe could stop plug-in support. It not work at all - why to continue?
Is there any other producer that could product flash plug-ins? It looks that many pages have features that need that plug-in but I don't trust Adobe anymore - it is like Microsoft: products that work ... if them work . If them work them works very slowly ... like pdf reader. Use google and try to find better pdf reader... I use one of them ... when Adobe need 10-50 sec to load it starts immediately even if document is big or even huge. Flash plug-in not work ... it had been problems already several months but made full stop with Opera today. As I read - it is not problem only with Opera ... massive problems made by Adobe. OK - it is not surprise ... I wait this already few years ...

In famous products like AfterEffects or Director, No way to

Since several Adobe products such as After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator use the same text engine you might want to try copy-pasting Arabic text from the Photoshop CS4 template provided in this blog post to After Effects CS4 and see if it works. AFAIK Director uses a different text engine from PS, AI and AE.

Flash Plug In not working

Hello. I have been having some serious trouble playing videos
on Youtube and Video Google. I don't know if something got messed
up on my computer or what. I had trouble watching anime on my new
system. (Youtube and Google video used to work fine before this).
So I downloaded Gspot to tell me which codecs I needed. It said
Xvid. I read on some sites like vidoehelp.com what other common
codex I should install so I installed Xvid, FFDShow, and divX. My
anime didn't work. I uninstalled all of them. I tried a K-lite
codec pack since that worked on my old system, anime still didn't
work. So I uninstalled that one. My youtube and google video audio
from this point on has not worked. I deleted the remnants of the
folders of Xvid, ffdshow, and divX after I uninstalled them,
reinstalled them, and for some reason, my anime worked. (I also
installed WMP 10 insted of WMP 11 since I didn't like WMP 11). I
uninstalled my flash plug in with the uninstall_flash_player.exe,
rebooted, and re-installed it. I reinstalled my realtek audio hd
driver (I have the Abit AW8D mobo). I still do not have any audio
on these streaming websites which I am guessing use the flash
plug-in. Any advice? Thanks!

If your device is a Galaxy Tab 3 10.0 then you have an Intel Android device. Adobe never released an Intel versions of Adobe Flash Player. In addition Adobe has stopped releasing new versions of Flash.
You would need an ARM based Android device to play Flash content. In addition Google removed key bit of code that allowed Flash to work as of Android 4.4. Adobe Flash on Android does not have a future.

Adobe Flash plug-in not working in Safari

I was trying to use s broadcasting stations player, and it asked for installation of a newer version of Flash. I have downloaded and installed the newest V 16 of Flash but it does not work on the broadcaster's player. However I can play back the content perfectly on Chrome. This therefore seems to be a Safari problem. I have Safari version 8.0.3 (10600.33.18) installed on an iMac 27" Retina 5K running Mac OS X 10.10.2.
Can anyone help?

Are Plug-ins allowed?
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
If that is not the problem,
    Uninstall Flash

Flash plug-in not listed in the Safari installed plug-ins page

I'm running Mac OS 10.5.8 on a Intel Imac and I'm facing the same problem since the first time I wanted to upgrade the version 10 of the Flash plug-in.
I have different accounts and various internet browsers (Safari, FireFox, Opera, Chrome) only Safari, on my main account (admin), causes problems. Actually the plug-in (10.3) is properly installed in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/, so common to all accounts (the users' Internet Plug-Ins folders are empty) and it is visible from the System Preferences application.

But Safari doesn't lists the flash plug-in in the installed plug-ins page and returns a missing plug-in error message as I visit any website containing a flash movie. When I replace the current plug-in with version 10.0.r2 it works fine.
Before installing any upgrade I first run the uninstaller, restart the computer and then install the newest version. I tried many things to fixe this very annoying problem without success. I'm not going to list all of them but I mainly cleared Safari and Flash Player preferences, Safari Cache.db, removed all other plug-ins (to check for conflicts). I also used some tools as Apple Disk utily and OnyX to repair disk permissions and fix other possible problems.
I would be very grateful if you could help me!

I have uninstall Flash Player Debugger and the Flash Plugin
removed all plug-ins from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Replaced all previous versions of Flash player by the latest version (10.3r183)
I ran all OnyX maintenance scripts and repaired disk permissions
After restarting the computer I installed the plug-in and replaced all previous plug-in version everywhere
e.g. : /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash Player/Flash Player.plugin
Restarted again and then launched Safari. The plugin is well in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, but not listed in installed plug-ins list
I repeated this "procedure" several time, from different accounts, I also removed the admin rights on the problematic account and perform the installation from a new admin account without success!
I can drop any plug-in in the Internet Plug-Ins folder and I only have to refresh the the Installed Plug-ins page in order that Safari takes it into account. All, but the flash plug-in!
I really do no understand why Safari can't "see" newer plug-ins than the 10.0 version.
I'm lost and ran out of ideas!

New Laptop, Plugged in not charging issue

On the very first boot after purchasing, a message was shown that your battery needs to be replaced, when i set up the window the battery icon was saying "Plugged in, not charging". I have tried so many things suggested but nothing worked out... Things that i have tried to fix the issue are following:1. Battery check and calibration using hp software, did not worked2. New X1 carbon (2014) - NOT a productivity tool any more

I was a big fan of thinkpad X-serie and owned 8 or 9 of them.
Purchases nx1c and thought that it'll be my baby for next two years, but now I am thinking to return it since I buy it for work, not to use as an iPad.
Below are some pain points, and hopefully the New New X1 carbon will get right on them.
1. Adaptive keyboard seems to be fancy idea, but works horrible
(1) Delay introduced by switching keyboard layouts to perform some common tasks
- e.g. F2 to rename/F5 to refresh/Alt+F4 to close/...
- e.g. F5/F7/F9/F10/F11/F12 in coding with visual studio
- e.g. Snipping tool is only available in browser mode, but I need it somewhere else
(2) Delay introduced by the easiness to misclick
- e.g. during debugging, need frequently click F10/F11/etc.. Without looking down, I can't make sure I clicked the right key, and I have to be carefully not swiped over the next key which sometimes mean I have to do the whole thing over
(3) No way to program or delete certain layouts
- I am not a meeting guy, may I remove the web conference layout for fast-switching between modes?
- Snipping tool is really too limited, and I want program it call original PrintScreen, but there's NO way
- Some features are there just for being "fancy", like swiping before webcam to go prev/next page, really wish I can replace them but again, NO way
2. An epic fail in the keyboard change.
I am okay to put some time to get use to some minor changes, but big changes (HOME/END at left), removing some commonly used keys (PrintScreen, Break, Insert), that's too much.
3. TrackPoint without physical buttons are far less convenient. When using TrackPoint, single tap on touchpad to click doesn't work, seems by design - but a bad one.
4. Touchpad: tap with the side of thumb will easily move the mouse cursor upwards and away from the original target position.
5. Windows8 displays horribly in high dpi
6. The power adapter for old thinkpads doesn't work with nx1c, but no adapter tips are available
7. 9 hours? I got slightly over 5 hours max.
In short, the designer goes too far to make nx1c slim and fancy, and now it is not a productivity tool anymore.

I can't really share any of the complaints.
Compared to my T430s this is just the machine I was looking for. Although I tweaked the T430s into a dual SSD machine (getting rid of a useless CD/DVD combo) I was looking for something slimmer and lighter. The X1 Carbon has a wopping 500G SSD (more than the dual I had) has a far better screen (the T430s has horrible viewing angles and colarization due to the TFT) the IPS is so much better. I don't see any bleed on the side of the screen either.
The X1 shaves off 500g, and is much tinner (but has less ports). The one thing I liked, very much, on the T430 are the connection at the back instead of front, but I think I can live with the power plug sticking out at the left side, although that is were my mouse is.

Explicit History Code Plug-in for Adobe Products?

Hello, my name is Matthew Reeves, a graduate student at the University of Utah School of Architecture in Salt Lake City, UT. I hope you are doing well this summer.
I am currently completing my final semester of architecture school, and have been learning several softwares to assist in design. I encountered an idea that could greatly aid Adobe products.
21st Century architecture accomplishes most of its designs in Rhinoceros, and develops them in Revit, from Autodesk. Rhinoceros offers great freedom in form, all the while computing the information as exact geometries that can be easily exported to documentation software (i.e. Revit or AutoCAD).
Rhinoceros has developed a code plug-in known as Grasshopper, which controls the history of command functions in the software and permits modifying each sequential action made, at any point in time. The process is known as "explicit history."
The image below depicts a typical Rhino geometry with a Grasshopper code depicting every command made along the way, from left to right--such as "rotate," "crv," and "loft"-- with toggles that can modify each command:
Is there any way an explicit history plug-in can be developed for Adobe products?
Please let me know if I can clarify the suggestion. I am eager to see this happen, and would use it frequently.

P500-st6844 DVD drive broke where to find a new one?

I have a satellite p500-st6844 and its out of warranty. The DVD drive is broken and I have searched for days now and can't find a replacement drive. I'm a computer engineering major and am not worried about replacing it once I get the drive I just can't find one. Any help would be appreciated

My new flash drive will not show up on my macbook pro?

It's really strange because I know my usb ports are working, the flash drive works perfectly fine on the mac desktops at my school and if I open up system profile it shows that it's plugged in! But it won't show up anywhere for me to actually access it! Not on my desktop, not in my finder, I've tried searching for it and checked to make sure I have my finder settings checked to show external drives on the desktop and in the sidebar in finder windows. I checked on one of the desktops and it is formated as...FAT 32 bit I think? something like that. I've also restarted a couple times already and plugged and unplugged it a few times to try and get it to work. The last time I plugged in someone else' flash it showed up too so I don't know why this one won't show up, I've looked everywhere to figure out why it might not be working, but I need it to work so I can get my school work off my school computer before the end of the semester!
If anyone can give me some suggestions or help I would really appreciate it!

Press the Repair Disk button. If it doesn't find any issues or repairs those it finds, press Mount.
If it finds issues that it can't fix, run a more powerful utility such as DiskWarrior or a data recovery product on it.

Flash plug-in not recognized in Firefox

I wasn't sure where to put this. I'll be putting it on the Mozilla site as well.
I've installed the Flash 10 plug-in about half a dozen times on my Macbook and I cannot get the web content to work. It appears to install properly, i restart the site and/or reboot the PC and everytime the flash content should come up, it prompts me to install Flash again. It keeps acting like i don't have it installed.
Any help? If this isn't the right discussion, let me know.

Try this one more time. Uninstall FlashPlayer. Install the newest version here.
Repair permissions after the update.

Safari says Flash plug-in not installed, but it is. Same page works in Fox.

If I go to a page that has a Flash movie that sniffs to see if I have the correct Flash player, it says that I don't have the plug-in, but I do. If I open the same page in FireFox, the Flash movie plays fine.
Flash movies that are embedded without the sniffer work fine in Safari.

I do have plug-ins enabled. If I go to a Flash movie that doesn't sniff, it plays just fine. All of those Google ads embedded in various Web sites work fine, for example.
