Where to find AK Developer Region?

In the Oracle Work flow, I can see a node which displays a page( Confirmation page), which I need to change.
For this I guess I need to find the AK Developer Region.
-How to get this page?
-How to add a diff/modified page instead?
I am using Oracle Apps version:11.5.10
Could someone pls help?

1. Actually I had considered the option of using the method of extending the controller. Could you please elaborate on the part of using personalization to replace the old controller with your new one?( Since substitution works only for server side componnets)
- Your new controller is going to extend the old controller and override one or both of processRequest and processFormRequest methods based on your requirement. You call super and write your logic, use personalization to change the old one with new one. Since you are extending the old controller all the logic will be inherited as well as your code will be executed. You can happily live ever after :).
Also, Is there a way of doing the same activity on the Cancellation page (that appears whenever the trasnaction is canceleld)?
- Same way as mentioned above
2. We are fine with removing the entire chrome (but would prefer the first option). Please let me know.
- You just need to specify an additional parameter when you forward to the confirmation page, OA_PAGELAYOUT_RENDER_STYLE=PAGELAYOUT_NO_HEADER this will remove the entire chrome.

    Hi Neetu,
    Do you wish that at all customer site all concern involved in implemtation do the same work ?
    I believe ERP is meant for single entry system, and it should be true for implementation also, why to invest man hours for the same task ?
    I expect it standard reports should be released by SAP, so that speed of implementation improve, we have more nos. of satisfied customers.
    customised reports is all together different and it is understood that it is needed to be developed after study the exact requirement.

  • Where to find the best application for cleaning out my MacBook Air with OS X 10.7.5? I've been using MacKeeper but believe it's slowing down my laptop considerable.

    where to find the best application for cleaning out my MacBook Air with OS X 10.7.5? I've been using MacKeeper but believe it's slowing down my laptop considerable. Thank you.

    How to maintain a Mac
    1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
    2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
    3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this stuff is useless, or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
    The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
    As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Use your computer; don't fuss with it.
    Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction.  Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
    Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until sometime in 2011, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
    There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
    Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
    In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
    Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
    5. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem. While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage consumption and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
    If storage space is running low, use a tool such as the free application OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move rarely-used large files to secondary storage.
    6. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
    The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

    where to find out with serial number to verify whether my dslr is genuine or not?

    Hey guys!
    The following information can be found at https://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/gray_market
    Information on Parallel or "Gray Market" Products
    Canon sells and supports Canon-brand consumer and professional products in the U.S. through Canon U.S.A., which distributes these products through its authorized dealers and distributors. Canon U.S.A. is the only authorized importer of these products in the U.S., and provides industry-leading customer service and support for them. Products distributed by Canon U.S.A. are "localized" to meet the needs of customers in the U.S. market and are engineered to comply with local safety regulations and governmental requirements. As such, these products come with different accessories, manuals, and warranties than the versions intended for sale in other global regions such as Asia. Any Canon-brand products which are imported and sold other than by this method are referred to as "parallel," or "Gray Market," products (collectively, "Gray Market Products").
    Hazards and Difficulties Associated with "Gray Market" Products
    Customers in the U.S. may find that Gray Market Products do not meet their expectations because they were not intended by Canon for sale in the U.S. In some cases, sellers of Gray Market Products may attempt to localize the products themselves by adding, changing or removing certain accessories from the products, which may result in the following:
    including in product packaging illegal or counterfeit accessories, such as batteries, chargers, and ink tanks, which can cause injury and seriously damage your Canon product;
    an incorrect power cord or adapter which was not provided, or quality checked, by Canon;
    incorrect software or illegal copies of software which may not function;
    poor photocopies of the original manual;
    a fake Canon U.S. warranty, a warranty provided by a third party, or no warranty at all; and
    a device with a serial number which cannot be registered with Canon in the U.S.
    Customers should also be aware that Gray Market Products may not be eligible for:
    coverage under a U.S. warranty;
    U.S. promotions, including mail-in and instant rebates; and
    technical support
    If you are in doubt about a seller, or whether the products it sells are intended for the U.S., please visit http://usa.canon.com/authorizeddealers for a list of Canon U.S.A.'s Authorized Dealers. New and genuine Canon products intended for sale in the U.S. can only be purchased from Canon Authorized Dealers in the U.S. or from Canon U.S.A. directly.

  • How to find the AK Region name from JSP

    I have the requirement to hide some of the fields/regions in Oracle Sales Online.
    To do that from AK Developer Region Name/Code and Region Item is required. How to find this Region Code.

    When you are on the webpage, right click and select "VIEW SOURCE". When the notepad opens up, find the string "TOP REGION". This will give the top region for that page. Query for this page in the AK Developer resp with "Define Regions". Then click on "Region Items". This will give all the Attribute Names and Nested Regions within the TOP REGION. You just have to dig into each one of 'em to find the one you need.

    If you are using Mozilla Firefox as your development browser then there is an excellent tool(add-on) for finding out such things - [url https://getfirebug.com/]firebug
    My findings about openModal are:
    <ul>
    <li>If you check the page source of the page 50 in the Customer Tracker Packaged Application, in the head section of the page you will find a script included :
    <script src="/i/themes/apps/js/4_1.js"></script></li>

    var gBackground;
    var gLightbox;
    function initLightbox() {
    jQuery('body').append('<div id="modalBackground"></div>')
    gBackground = jQuery('#modalBackground')
    gBackground.click(function(){
    gBackground.fadeOut(100);
    closeModal()
    function closeModal()
    if (gLightbox)
    gLightbox.removeClass("modalOn").hide();
    gLightbox = '';
    gBackground.fadeOut(100)
    function openModal(p_div_id)
    gBackground.fadeIn(100);
    gLightbox = jQuery('#' + p_div_id);
    gLightbox.addClass('modalOn').fadeIn(100);

  • Where to find screen and field definitions?

    Dear All,
    I need to be able to find all the screen and field definitions that exist in the SAP Repository for an application I am developing.  Can anybody tell me where to find them?  I specifically need to know which field types are defined for each screen (GuiTextField, GuiComboBox, GuiTableControl, etc.) as well as their IDs as they appear in the SAP GUI.
    Can anybody help with this?  I've looked all over and haven't been able to find out where this information is stored in the data dictionary.
    Thanks very much in advance!!

    Paul foto which operating system are you using?  You will want to open the applications in the method which is typical of your operating system.  You can find more details at Launch CC apps after install - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/launch-creative-cloud-apps.html.

  • Where to find deployed application?

    Hello, I am new to SAP Portal.
    I installed a complete test environment, EP Portal 6 SP6.
    Added also PDK 6.0.6. This one seems to run.
    I used Netweaver Developer Studio to create and deploy
    a very simple Portal application.
    It says deployment on server was successful, but I cannot find the application in the portal.
    I logged in as Super Admin and expected the application
    in Content-Administration/ Portal-Content section
    but I cannot recognize how to add the application to
    the portal. Could someone please give me a hint
    - how to do this or
    - describe where to find a description of this
    - if I need additional roles to do this
    - if I did something wrong
    thanks a lot

    Hans,
    if the deployment was successful, this means, that the PAR file could be successfully uploaded to the portal server and stored there.
    In the portal content, you will only find "real" content objects: iviews, pages, roles and the like. In order to make your component appear there, you will have to create a new iView based on your PAR file. Simply right click in the portal content studio and select "new --> from portal archive". Then select the corrent archive (it's named just like the par file you created in NW Developer Studio without the suffix ".par").
    Alternatively, use the Component Starter in the Java Development role. This will list all deployed components (read: "PAR files") and allow you to start them immediately for testing without having to create iViews for them.
    Regards,
    Dominik

  • Where i find push notification which is disappeared after a while?

    where i find push notification which is disappeared after a while?

    In Windows Phone 8.1 you haev the notification center.
    In Windows 8 you have nothing like that.
    The good news is Windows 10 Preview has a notification center similar to the one available in Windows Phone 8.1.
    In alternative you have the application tile which will present the number of notifications you have not tapped (with some extra development you can get this tile to display the information you have on the image above).
    Cheers,
    Sam.
