This link has nothing to do with Collaxa's samples.
It does not tell how Collaxe's samples are related to each other.
For example: LoanFlow Example
In Collaxa's document there are very well mentioned that the whole sample
concists of multiple small samples. Those samples have their own tasks
and they must be executed in certain order. Otherwise the LoanFlow Sample does not work, or should I say StarLoanUI (.NET consle app) does not work.
I don't understand your attitute which is that software developer's should have a group of samples BUT without any information how they are executed (order, relationships etc.) I thing you have this document, and of course you have
read it when Collaxe was not part of Oracle. So, it does not bother you.
But It bothers new users of BPEL.

Yes, you are right with NetUI tags. I can find documents for NetUI on beehive site. However, the <render> tag is part of Portal Framework Rendering, its URI is "http://www.bea.com/servers/portal/tags/netuix/render".

Where to find help with SQL Developer installation?

I just want to try out SQL Developer and compare its capabilities to TOAD's. Unfortunately, I am not PC software savvy and now am stuck with a SQL Developer (sqldeveloper-1.2.2998) installation problem. When I clicked on the .exe file, I got a blank SQL Developer screen - there is nothing in the screen except a heading that reads 'Oracle SQL Developer'...
Does anyone know of a blog or a site that I can get some help with problems like mine?

Where can I find document link ?

Hello,
we have to migrate QM-Notifications, which have documents attached with the services for object-button. The migration of the Notifications is not a problem. However we don't find where the attached documents physically are stored. I searched these forums for 2 days and I tried a lot, but still I only find ID's of all kind. Which function gives me the path to my attached document ? I want to migrate the path if possible, not retrieve the document itself.
Can you please help me as soon as possible ?

I have had to deal with a similar problem. Here is my understanding of the addresses. There is a field in the sales order partner table (VBPA-ADRNR) that links the partner to an address. When you create an order, the address number is copied from the customer master. If you change the address on the order, then VBPA-ADRNR is given a new number to store the new address that you just created.
When you create with reference, the address number in VBPA-ADRNR is copied from the reference order to the new order. If that number is different than what is in the customer master and you change the address on the new order, then the reference order will also be changed because they are tied to the same address number (ADRNR).
The solution is to change copy control. In copy control you can exclude copying the address number when creating with reference. If you do that, then the address in the new order will be the same as the customer master. However, you can then change it without affecting the referenced order. Keep in mind, that if you do this, you won't be able to copy the changed address in the reference order to the new order.

11i 에서 AR_TRANSACTION_PUB 을 이용하여 Single Transaction을 생성하려고 하나 Error 가 발생한다.
Explanation
AR_TRANSACTION_PUB 은 11.0.3 Version에서 사용되던 것으로 11i에서는 Supported API 가 아님을 유의 해야 한다.
11i에서는 AR_TRANSACTION_PUB 대신 AR_INVOICE_API_PUB (ARXPINVB.pls , ARXPINVS.pls) 이 제공 되고 있다.
해당 API 는 2개의 publick procedures 를 포함 하고 있으며 하나는 batch mode 로 multiple invoices를 생성하도록 하고 다른 하나는 single invoice 를 생성하도록 한다.
- CREATE_INVOICE procedure 는 multiple invoices 를 생성하기 위한 precedure 로 batch_id 를 out parameter 로 return한다.
- CREATE_SINGLE_INVOICE procedure 는 single invoice 를 생성하기위한 precudure 로 customer_trx_id 를 out parameter로 return한다.

MBST finds document in VBFA and accesses LIKP for previous year document

Hi all,
I don't know if this is the right place to post. As an ABAP developer, I'll put my query here :
Scenario : In MBST, for a particular document type and year 2012, it displays error and says "No Authorization for shipping point X", though the document is posted againt another plant/shipping point Y. This material was posted for X in 2011. And we are not able to determine why MBST is picking up 2011 record.
Analsysis :
On debugging, we found -
There is an FM "WS_FIND_ORIGINATE_DOCUMENT" called in program LMBDFU01.
This FM is called on pressing enter on the initial screen in MBST i,e before we press Save.
Here there is a query to where it finds the document in VBFA :
SELECT * FROM VBFA APPENDING TABLE XVBFA
                         WHERE     VBELN   = MBVBFA-MBLNR
                         AND     ( VBTYP_V = 'J' OR VBTYP_V = 'T' )
                         AND       ERDAT LIKE BELJAHR
                         AND       VBTYP_N = 'i'.
Here it doesnt find document for 2012, so it searches for 2011 (subtracts 1 from the year passed in MBST).
It finds a document for 2011 in VBFA and picks up the corresponding VBELV and passes it into VBELN in LIKP and hence fetches the previous year record and plant and authorizes the user against it.
In ideal condition, there is no document fetched for any year from VBFA and no LIKP is accessed. Any idea on why there could be a document present in VBFA for this document ? And how I can prevent from selecting this record as this is standard.

But my client is to close books of accounts so it is having the said requirement of vendor to vendor transffer,kindly suggest me other alternative

Do you wish that at all customer site all concern involved in implemtation do the same work ?
I believe ERP is meant for single entry system, and it should be true for implementation also, why to invest man hours for the same task ?
I expect it standard reports should be released by SAP, so that speed of implementation improve, we have more nos. of satisfied customers.
customised reports is all together different and it is understood that it is needed to be developed after study the exact requirement.

How to find Document flow / Relationships to a support message

Hi Friends,
I am new to Solution manager. I would like to know how to find Document flow of a Support message.
For example I have a Support message, there are few Change requests and tasks linked to it. This can be viewed from CRMD_ORDER transaction (Where used list button / Document flow), preceding documents and related documents.
Is there any function module or table where I find the link between these different transaction types or atleast any report!

Problem with Versions - where can I Download Oracle BPEL PM 10.1.3

Dear Experts,
I have to develop my Oracle BPEL Process in JDeveloper 10.1.3 & I couldn't see corresponding Oracle BPEL PM server 10.1.3 instead I am having 10.1.3.1. Is it right way of use. Or please suggest me from where I can download Oracle BPEL PM 10.1.3.0 or 10.1.3.
Note: Strictly my requirement is to develop bpel process with 10.1.3 standards.

We understand your requirement abut BPEL 10.1.3 standards. For this you can either download a BPEL standalone or 10.1.3.1.0 SOA Suite from http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/index.html.
Please note that SOA 10.1.3.1.0 is the base release where you have al the required BPEL standards you are looking for. Then, you might want to upgrade to 10.1.3.4 patchset and download the 10.1.3.4 JDeveloper to develop your BPEL processes.

How to maintain a Mac
1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this stuff is useless, or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Use your computer; don't fuss with it.
Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction. Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until sometime in 2011, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
5. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem. While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage consumption and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
If storage space is running low, use a tool such as the free application OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move rarely-used large files to secondary storage.
6. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

I now where to find the "Character Map" on a mac and all that..., - but how to type in a hidden character on the keyboard... ?

You need to enable Unicode Hex Input in the Language & Text Input Sources preference pane. Also, check the box that shows the input menu in the menu bar.
After selecting Unicode Hex Input, you can hold down the option key while keying in 00AD and you get the character.
The other option is the Edit > Special Characters menu item. If you select the gear drop-down in the upper left corner of this panel, you can customize the left panel contents, including addition of Unicode Characters. Once you have that panel item added, you can select the Unicode character, and by double-clicking the Font Variation, it will appear at the current cursor position in your document.
