The app hasn't been updated in almost a year, so it may not be compatible with iOS 5 or 5.1. They have next to no support information on their web site, so you may need to email them:

The normal route for a single app that won't launch is to remove and reinstall it, but that would probably lose all your information unless you have it synched to a computer. I'd suggest contacting the developer.
Update: their Twitter feed says that they've had to do a number of updates for iOS 5.1 to fix an issue that was crashing all their apps under 5.1, and have submitted them to Apple. So stay tuned for a while and look for an update.

Finder - Folder Info and Resize Slider

Hi,
I couldn't find this in any other discussions and hopefully it is a stupid question with an easy answer...
I'm not a big fan of the new simplified finder.
As I work with images and do a lot of resizing, renaming and select certain images from a folder I used to find the info at the bottom of the finder windo which told me how many files were in the folder and also had the thumbnail size adjustment slider as well. Where have these gone???
Only now they have gone do I realise how much I need them.

Ahh yes... For anyone else with this stupid problem.
Finder --> View --> Show Status Bar
Then close and reopen the finder and it will be there.

IWeb Hints and Tips

How about hearing your Hints and Tips for iWeb?
Here's one to get the ball rolling.....
Most of my attempts at graphics have been done in Keynote due to the extra features that iWeb will hopefully inherit some day. (Apple please take note!)
The navigation buttons were made in iWeb and are a bit of a pain to do every time. Here's a tip on how to save them in a file for dropping into other web pages. I discovered this by accident when I was poking around the iDisk files to see what happened to my web pages after I hit the publish button.
Make up a page of your graphics and publish it. Then open up your local iDisk and go to Web/Sites/iWeb/Website/PageName_files and there you will find your graphics listed as shapeimage_1( 2 3 4....).png. Drag these out and drop them into your newly created Web Graphics folder. Drag and drop them onto iWeb pages as required.

I keep all my graphics in an iweb images folder as the original .key files. This way, if I ever want to make a change to just the stroke or fill or the included text without redoing the image, I can.
Here's an added tip for Keynoters. If you bring over grouped shapes, iWeb will not allow you to add a drop shadow to them. To enable this, copy the group, open Preview, do a command-N, then copy the image from there. It'll get pasted into iWeb as a PDF and you'll then be able to add a shadow.

Where to find after "Archive and Install"

Hi everyone. I recently installed Leopard onto my Macbook. During the process, I used the archive and install feature to save all of my old data and files. Right now everything is located in the "Previous System" folder on my hard drive. I am trying to find my iCal information, but don't know where it's located. Does anyone know?
I didn't backup any of my calendars. I didn't think I would have to since all the information should already be saved.

If you actually accomplished an Archive and Install, you should be able to open iCal and the previous calendar information will populate your upgraded iCal. What calendar information is displayed in iCal when you open the application?
If your old calendars are not displayed you should be able to find your previous information in folders named something like 4A1DC586-14EC-4D42-B659-BEBA31968385.calendar in the Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources Folder of your previous system folder. There will be as many of these folders as you had calendars on the previous system, but they will have different alpha numeric names on your computer than the example which I just gave you.
Open these oddly named folders and you will find the corestorage.ics files containing your former calendars.
Use iCal to import the corestorage files by using the iCal>File>Import... menu command to navigate to and import the appropriate corestorage.ics file for each of your calendars.
Did you ever use .Mac? If so, you may also have calendar information that can be retrieved from that service.

Can U Think of Any Situation Where U Find VENDOR Info. Populated for a STO?

Can you think of any situation where you will find VENDOR information populated for a STO moving stock from a Plant to Store under the same company code?
I got an error ("Enter goods for vendor XXXX only") and this was triggered by the fact that one STO had vendor information in the delivery document. The outcome of this was that every STO beneath this STO could not be GR, but every STO before and including the STO were GR without any issues....

I am not sure exactly what you mean when you say "Vendor information populated for an STO". Is this a UB STO?
Tell me exactly what transaction you are performing, and the data you are entering, when you get the GR error.
Generally, when you set up master data for a STO, you have to assign a vendor to the plant. It is possible that somehow the source plant has become un-assigned from the vendor. WB03, clik past any warnings, enter the plant. In the upper right corner, there should be a vendor. If nothing is there, then you have to re-assign the vendor to the source plant. MK02 enter the vendor you wish to assign to the plant, and the purch org you should use for the STOs. Execute. Select extras > addl purch data. enter the plant. Save.

There is no PLL directories or OLB directories. Just copy these files in one of the folder defined in the FORMS_PATH variable.

Just finished setting up the printer. Hooray it was easier than I thought. But now I have a print out that said I need to create an account. I already have an account so I signed in. But I cannot find the Devices tab or where to enter the printer's claim code. Could someone from HP or another user assist me. I would greatly appreciate the assistance and I wish to thank you in advance.

[MAYBE SOLVED :) ] Awesome - where to find reliable info

I tried Awesome yesterday and does pretty much what I was looking for. The problem for me as a Awesome-n00b is the quite radical changes to code between versions. Even from 3 to 3.1 there are a lot of changes, so many that I haven't been able to figure out how to make the simplest working widget yet... a very humbling experience!
I don't even know whether the copy of rc.lua I got (installed yesterday, version 3.1.2-1) is up to date because not even the already included parameter to let for example Gimp be floating work. To begin with:
- either a good reliable link to guides that are up-to-date (the Awesome Wiki is confusing since it more or less expect you to be familiar with the ongoing development and hence understand where to adjust accordingly; other guides end with edits like "sorry this is already outdated because version 3.1 makes 3.0 configurations... bla bla bla...")
- or a simple tip to why this default doesn't work:

I suppose I have to struggle with the widgets in my future attempts to master Awesome. Otherwise it's one of the most responsive WMs I've tested, combined with a fairly friendly default configuration.

Maybe you missed that it was a joke about awful? Think about the names of the libraries used in Awesome (sometimes it boring to add a smiley to every other joke). Nevertheless Awesome is a challenge since you've got a information which concern different versions of Awesome, something that isn't obvious for a new user of Awesome. No need to be defensive, because Awesome is awesome and I suppose the main focus at the moment is its constantly progressing, and hence changing, code.
That said let me explain some of my issues (and remember that I like Awesome so no need to defend it; I'm only interested in constructive suggestions not a debate about pros and cons):
Eject
Awesome doesn't handle auto mounting at all and hence it's not an Awesome issue, and I didn't explicitly say it is, but it's one of those things you'll have to make a choice about. Thunar's volman is one option and since I already have XFCE4 installed I'm content using it instead of adding lvman to the mix.
However I can't get it to play nicely, or it does until I choose to eject through thunar, something that leads to errors like Device to unmount is not in /media/.hal-mtab so it is not mounted by HAL. This has nothing to do with Awesome, but it's a new problem I don't have if starting a XFCE4 session. Simple as that, but I don't really need it to work since I mainly use the keyboard.
Cursor theme
This isn't an Awesome issue as well since Awesome doesn't include any such configuration option. There are several options here; I have used the same line in ~/.xinitrc as suggested by Nezmer (thanks for your suggestion!), another one is to redirect by a index.theme or create a ~/.icons/default directory with the theme of choice. You might be right that it doesn't totally work in an environment as Awesome (I notice that the cursor theme goes back to default as outside of application boarders, and likewise disappear within windows of none GTK applications). I just wanted to test it since it's a suggestion in the Awesome wiki. Probably I could get it to work better if a had more knowledge.
A .gtkrc.mine file plus some is a way of getting the icon and/or panel theme of choice for GTK applications (see Awesome wiki). It works as well as a way to change fonts or cursor theme, but it's isolated to GTK applications.
I hope the too wordy reply cleared any cause for misunderstanding.

MVC: Where to find the model and the table select in standard BSP apps?

We are going to use MSS with the appraisal-application
which is written in BSP and 'e-recruiting'. Both applications use the MVC-design pattern. We are going to do some modifications, but are struggling a bit since MVC is a new topic for us. How is the best way to get an overview of the controllers and views and call sequences in an existing application? We have done this by debugging, but are there other ways to find the 'starting controller', etc. ?
Where can we find the model-code which reads the table-values into the internal table?
We have read a lot about how nice MVC is - how the design gives you a better overview of the application. But without any docuemtation of the design we are quite lost. What are others experiences on this?

let's see if I can answer your questions (at least partially).
The main controller is the one you normally call directly in your browser (or after some introduction pages like login etc.). It's typically called start.do or main.do (but can differ). So if you call in the browser:

just call se80, choose the application myappl and double-click on start.do. There you can get the name of the controller class (just double-click on the class name).
The standard model class is called CL_BSP_MODEL. The model classes from the application inherit from this class.

(Urgent) Where can find the code and documentations for ATG mobile ?

We have a customer (Gome) which is implementing ATG products and ATG solution needs to support iPhone app as well. Due to the tight schedule, we are looking to have some reference modules to jump start our mobile module development and help us staying on the course of ATG best practices.
Before we can find some open source ATG mobile code available on community.atg.com site as part of ATG program. However they can not find it now because community.atg.com was closed.
Can anyone help on this ?

The iPhone, Android, and mobile web solutions were previously provided via the ATG Catalyst program. As of the acquisition by Oracle a year ago, those offerings were withdrawn and are no longer available. Oracle has not provided any guidance as to whether they might be made available again, and if so, when and under what licensing guidelines.
I'm afraid that you're on your own. Sorry!

IPhone: Where to find good Documentation and Samples for Auto-Rotate?

So I'm starting to get into the auto rotation features for my iPhone apps. I've spent a couple hours looking for some apple documentation and searching online, but I'm not finding any "definitive" guide to discuss the process. Any recommendations would be great!
Specifically, I'm trying to learn about the following:
- I have already implemented auto-rotation, but how do I setup my view so when rotated, it adjust the UI to take advantage of landscape mode. (i.e. I want to add extra features, and re-position some things)
- I also would like to the option within a couple views, that when rotated, goes to an entirely new view.

I generally find that vector drawing programs are better for drawing toolbar icons and the like, as vector drawings are easier to tweak and adjust later. I've had great success with VectorDesigner in my own apps; it has a shallow learning curve and a solid basic feature set, although it can be quirky at times. (It also doesn't play all that well with certain development tools: don't try to add VectorDesigner files to Xcode projects, and make sure you zip them before you add them to a Subversion or CVS repository. VectorDesigner files are packages--like application bundles--and those tools don't play well with packages.)
If you want to go a little higher end, Illustrator is the Photoshop of vector drawing, but like Photoshop you'll probably find it very difficult to start out with.
You'll also need a raster graphics editor to tweak exported images. I use Pixelmator for this, but Photoshop will work just as well.
