Where to find photo backup

I deleted a photo it should be backedup on itunes how to I get it, does it replace the backup file with a new one everytime it sync.

iTunes updates (replaces) the backup file everytime you sync, unless it is a backup saved when you restore the phone (which is timestamped and not overwritten).

The Camera Roll is part of the iPhone backup. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4946 for the location of the backup. You cannot see them in the backup, however.
You should be transferring them regularly to your computer, as you would with any digital camera. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083

Hi,
Need help. I did a OS update to iOS 6 today.
Before the update I did backup my phone on my PC.
But since that backup there was a new back up that created automatically when I connected my phone back to the PC. Now with some issues I want to rollback to previous backup. But this backup file is not visible in the restore from backup list. Is there anyway I can manually find this file and try to restore from it.
In the backup folder I can see a few files with previous backup time stamp but not sure how I can use these files and which file to use..

Where to find photo shutter speed, F stop etc. in iPhoto

When I download Nikon photos to iPhoto library I was unable to find camera information such as camera shutter speed using Get Info button from the photo I clicked. But when I export the same photo out of iPhoto to Desktop and use the Get Info dialogue, I found the shutter speed information there, so the iPhoto must have store such info somewhere.
Question: is there an easy way to get shutter speed, F stop etc. directly from the iPhoto app without exporting the photo out of the iPhoto library?

in iPhoto select the photo and under the photo menu ==> show extended photo info

Where to find Photo Jpeg compression?

Hello guys,
I am trying to convert HDV video to Photo Jpeg. I am wondering what would be the best way to do that, achieving the best results?
All I can think of is to choose:
QuickTime/Uncompressed 10-bit
and then go to inspector's Encoder:
choose video settings/Compression type-photo Jpeg
Is this correct? Or is there any other way of doing this.

well working through Compressor usually give you the most control. The results are subjective and will be made different by whatever you adjust.
Just pick one of the standard video presets that matches your system: NTSC, PAL, etc. Finding a 10-bit compressor isn't relevant because you're actually choosing Photo Jpeg. Pick something similar in size to your output, adjust the video compressor, and save it as a new custom preset

I can't find my backup through itunes

hi I work mainly on a PC. I back up periodically my iphone on my computer. I know where to find my backups. Recently my phone crashed and needed restoring, I go to choose my backup and the one I want is not there. I know where to find the backups on my computer went into the file and I see the backup I want but when I go to choose it through itunes it is not showing up. Help....

It is my understanding the you did a recovery back to factory. If you did a full factory recovery, it would have reformatted the drive, recreated the partitions and reinstalled the software back to factory. That means all data on the hard drive would be gone.
You can do a Google search for data recovery. You may be able to locate data recovery software that would allow you to retrieve your photos.

Where can I find my backup photos?

I want to find my photos backup file.
I usually just copy and paste my photos to my computer.
The itunes always backup, i can find the backup file but with no photos!

The photos are blob objects in a SQLite database. You need a backup extractor application for your computer to retrieve them. Why don't you just copy the photos from your Camera Roll by using any photo management app on your computer, as described in the 3rd section here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236

Did you do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) to copy your iTunes purchases over to your computer's iTunes prior to updating ? iTunes downloads (apps, ringtones, music, films, tv shows, ibooks) aren't included in a backup, only the contents and settings of third-party apps.
You should be able to re-download apps and, depending upon what country that you are in, potentially music : re-downloading. Ringtones are a one-time only download, so if they aren't on your computer nor on a backup then you will need to try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Thank you for your reply. I have been backing up my entire computer and when I follow anything having to do with Lightroom I am not finding actual photos. The iPhoto library should be in your user folder/Pictures unless it was moved.

Since you seem to be using a new disk for Lion, Time Machine will consider previous backups to be for a "different" computer. Try doing a control-click or click-and-hold on the Time Machine icon in the Dock, then choose "Browse Other Time Machine Disks". This should allow Time Machine to see the previous backups.
In the worst case you should be able to open those Time Machine backups and copy your documents from there to your home folder.
By the way, you've been misled by poor field labeling on this forum into typing a large part of your message into the field intended for the subject. In the future just type a short summary of your post into that field and type the whole message into the field below that.

Restored from backup where r my photos

I just restore my backup to my ipad2 after upgrading. All of my apps are there but where r my photos? My movies are gone but my music is all there.

Your stuff should be on the computer you normally sync with. Did you sync after the restore?
