Where to find PSE Notes in Lightroom?

Until recently, I used Photoshop Elements (PSE) to scan family pictures and save them as TIFFS. All the information I found handwritten on the back of the photos, I copied onto the "Notes" field in PSE's "Properties - General". I have done some tests and confirmed that this information is actually written in the file.
Now, I'm using Lightroom - and very happy with it - but I can't find these Notes in the same files. I've looked everywhere in Metadata, but just can't find them.
I'm assuming that information added in PSE should be visible in Lightroom, so any idea on where they could be?

I've had a look at your sample file and the easiest way to do this will be with Exiftool . Download a copy of EXIF tool - for simplicity I suggest the OS specific package rather than the native perl version - and you will be able to use one of the following commands to move the metadata from the PSE specific location to one Lightroom can access.
The following commands have some common elements:
-P to preserve the current dates/times on your image files
-r to process all matching files in the current directory and all of its sub-directories
-overwrite_original_in_place to modify the existing file without creating a backup
*.tif to process all tif files, and combined with the -r this will match tif files in the current and sub-directories
Feel free to remove any of those arguments or change the target (*.tif) file specifier to something that better reflects your environment.
You only need to run one of the following commands. I've included these two options depending upon which destination field seems most appropriate for your catalog. For these commands to work you will need to use the PSE browser to write all metadata to file first. EXIF tool only works with the metadata in the file and can't access your PSE catalog directly.
exiftool -P -r -overwrite_original_in_place "-XMP-album:Notes>IPTC:Caption-Abstract" *.tif
The command above copies the Notes information into the Caption field visible in most of the Lightroom metadata tagsets.
exiftool -P -r -overwrite_original_in_place "-XMP-album:Notes>IPTC:SpecialInstructions" *.tif
The command above copies the Notes information into the Instructions field visible in the Lightroom IPTC and All metadata tagsets.
I had thought about adding this to the plugin but given it is a fairly uncommon requirement it will probably just confuse people. So I've changed my mind on that front.
Let me know if you have any troubles with following the instructions above.

Changelogs are considered confidential information by Nokia. You'll not see an official document reporting the changes made. What you might see is leaked documents on some websites, and you have to take those with a pinch of salt.

Ok to clarify you don't NEED mountain lion.
I will say its functionality with notes and other iOS functions is greatly improved in Mountain Lion (notification centre as another example).

If you have Lion, your notes should appear in the Mail App. If my memory serves me correct they appear in your inbox like an email. Go to system preferences, then "mail, contacts & calenders", select your icloud account from the list and it should tell you which things you have switched on or off, ensure Notes is ticked to on

People who have Photoshop, but don't have Lightroom, need ACR so that they can use Raw files. Without ACR they could do nothing with those (they may also like having ACR so that they can work on other kinds of image using the same kinds of adjustments and techniques, as are used with Raw files).
People who have Lightroom, can get access to Raw files regardless whether ACR is present or not. They can use Lightroom on other kinds of image also, using the same methods. LR can pass images directly into Photoshop without passing via ACR (or else does so transparently, which amounts to substantially the same thing).
ACR does not, strictly speaking, even need to be installed for this external editing to happen. In fact, not even PS needs to be - since a different image editor can be used instead, while still retaining the Adobe Raw conversion etc.
Lightroom "subcontracts out" specialised external tasks, in this workflow, but is still your "main contractor": the image is otherwise located, viewed, managed, adjusted/presented and output entirely using LR.
So IMO we can divide image processing into:
operations that involve pixels and layers and layer masks and adjustment layers etc (of the kind done inside Photoshop)
operations that involve parametric edits (of the kind done in ACR where you are not using a Lightroom based workflow; otherwise, done inside Lightroom)
When PS is called in, that's because those tasks are impossible or unsuitable to do in Lightroom. But those tasks can't be done in ACR either - by definition, since LR and ACR have exactly the same image processing "feature set".
Lightroom is irrelevant to the Bridge + ACR + PS workflow. This workflow requires both your PS and your ACR to be current enough, to support your Raw format etc.
ACR and Bridge are irrelevant to the LR + (image editor) workflow. It is in this case, only LR which needs to be current enough to support your Raw format etc.

Adobe Creative cloud applications do not have any serial numbers. They are activated through your adobe id.

It's in your Keychain on the computer you usually use to connect to your network - the "kind" will be "AirPort Network Password".
Your Keychain can be opened by using the Keychain Access program. It is in your Utilities Folder.
Open Keychain Access, and type airport in the search field. You will see a number of entries. Choose the one with the name of your wireless network, open it, and check the box next to "show password". Before it reveals itself you will be asked for your login password - the one you use to log in to your MacBook.
The network password will appear in the box.
Quit Keychain Access.

If your contacts are synced to your computer then they are in the supported app you are syncing with.

Sounds like it is hanging when you exit and later try to restart Firefox.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
