Where to find response file (Suse Linux)?

Hi,
I would like to do a Silent and Non-active Installation of OBI on Linux. Following the instructions on http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14504_01/dl/core/install/appdx_d.htm there should be a stage/Response directory. However there is nothing like this in the file system I downloaded from oracle.
I have downloaded the following file from oracle: biee_linux_x86_SUSE_101341.zip
Could you please help me finding a response file for the installation.
Thanks a lot in advance
Evgeny

As explained on the link you posted the response files are in the "Oracle Developer Suite" CD/DVD, not in the OBIEE installation file. Download Oracle Developer Suite and check there.

  • Where 2 find java file that implements the subscription email notification?

    Hello KMC Gurus,
    I saw a reply of Patricio linking to an article relating to "How to customize mail notifications?".
    In that article I was able to see how to change the XML & XSL files and their locations.
    Can anybody tell me where to find this java/class file relating to this mail notifications?

    I've just installed JAVA into my computer.
    Then I found a folder called "Java 1.4.2 SDK" or
    something like that. but in the folder there wasn't
    any .exe file to run JAVA, os i would like to know how
    do i run JAVA after i installed it?
    Also i am runnung Java in Windows XP with SP1
    I think those information might help.Follow this link and do what it says. Generally, you do not need an IDE to run java, just a text editor and a DOS prompt :)

  • Where are the response files going?

    Hello.
    I know someone who created a form in Acrobat software and has chosen to distribute the software in acrobat.com. What she did was the sent out emails where people has open access to the file and but once the form has been completed, she sometimes received the response in her response PDF file in her desktop but most of the time she doesn't. People who submitted the form has been informed that their "response has been submitted" but she doesn't receive a response. Is there anyway to retreive all the response files that are shared through acrobat.com individually? Where in acrobat.com are the responses stored and how can she retreive them?
    Many thanks and more power to acrobat.com development team.

    Hello,
    Thank you for your post. Any chance you could have your friend send us some additional information? We'd need to know her acrobat.com account name as well as what document is causing the trouble...
    Kind Regards,
    Michelle

  • Configuring Oracle Payments Sample Servlet-where to find configuration file

    Hi,
    We are using Oracle EBS R12.1.3. We are configuring Oracle Payments Sample Servlet as per below mentioned steps
    1. Add the alias statement to the configuration file of the servlet zone you wish the sample servlet to run as specified in the orion-web.xml file which is in the following directory:
    $ORA_CONFIG_HOME/10.1.3/j2ee/oacore/application-deployments/oacore/html/
    Alias statement->
    servlet.oramipp_lop.code=oracle.apps.iby.bep.loop.LoopBackServlet
    Note: This line should already be in the properties file after you
    have installed Oracle Payments. You only need to verify that it
    exists.
    2. In the same configuration file, provide the following servlet zone-wide parameters listed in the table below, which are set by a statement of the form servlet.default.initArgs=.
    Zone-Wide Parameters
    Parameter Example Value Description
    errorfile tmp/error.log Debug file used to write errors and stack traces.
    debugfile tmp/debug.log Log file used to write debugging messages.
    debug true, false Turns debugging on or off.
    Where can I find configuration file and properties file to make change?
    Regards
    Deepak Gupta

    Thanks Kris!
    I messed with the wrong file to put JDK in Path :)
    I Post here just in case someone may need it:
    As root user:
    gedit /etc/bash.bashrc
    at the end of the file insert (eg. /opt is where JDK directory is installed):
    JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk1.5.0_06
    CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME/lib/tools.jar
    PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH
    export JAVA_HOME CLASSPATH PATH

  • Where to find .jar files so I can implement import java.util.logging

    I'm trying to figure out how to take an application built for Websphere and port it to WebLogic. I've come across this blog entry http://blogs.sun.com/fkieviet/entry/using_java.util.logging_in_bea_weblogic and would like to try creating and using the startup class.
    I have not been able to find the correct jar files.
    import weblogic.common.T3ServicesDef;
    import weblogic.common.T3StartupDef;
    import weblogic.logging.LoggingHelper;
    In reading the documentation on using the NonCatalogLogger APIs at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/i18n/writing.html I also see some code calling for the following imports
    import weblogic.jndi.Environment;
    import weblogic.logging.NonCatalogLogger;
    1. Does anyone know where I can grab these?
    2. There must be a strategy for finding these .jars that people use. If so, what is it?

    I thought I understood you, but the more I look at what you've set here, I'll just be honest and admit that the I don't know what you are saying here:
    'You should be able to add the "weblogic.jar" in the WebLogic distribution to your classpath.' - What doe this mean?
    1. Go to my xxxWeb app Dynamic Web Project and right-click and select Build Path / Configure Build Bath / Libraries - Select Add external JARS and navigate to the weblogic.jar
    2. Go to my xxxWeb app Dynamic Web Project and right-click and select Build Path / Configure Build Bath / Libraries - Select Add Library and try to go from there?
    3. Go to my xxxWeb app Dynamic Web Project and right-click and select Build Path / Configure Build Bath / Libraries - Select Add Variable and try to go from there?
    4. Go to my xxxWeb app Dynamic Web Project and right-click and select Build Path / Configure Build Bath and do something else?
    5. Something else?
    Also, I don't know what you mean here:
    'You don't need to (and you shouldn't) copy that jar file, just have it in your compilation classpath. It will be present automatically at runtime.'
    Sorry for being so simple here but I've been trouble shooting why I can't follow what look like pretty simple steps to implement over-riding the ApplicationLifecycleListener Class to use existing java.util.logging.Logger code by adding the following to the the weblogic-application.xml:
    <wls:listener>
         <wls:listener-class>com.qualcomm.weblogic.log.listener.UtilLogWrapper</wls:listener-class>
    </wls:listener>
    And including as a referenced jar file, a simple POJO class instance of com.qualcomm.weblogic.log.listener.UtilLogWrapper.
    My resrouces for this are:
    1. http://blogs.sun.com/fkieviet/entry/using_java.util.logging_in_bea_weblogic.
    2. http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/drolet-ant.html.
    Maybe my weblogic.jar is at the root of the problem.
    I hope you can 'dumb this down' for me with a simple explanation of steps to do what you outlined above.

  • Where to find video files in Time Machine?

    I'm still not figuring all of this out apparently. Hours later I have backed up my computer onto an external HD via Time Machine.  I wanted to check & be sure my videos are on there before I delete some from my hard drive & when I use finder to open Time Machine (the external HD), I cannot find anywhere in there that there are video files or even all of my (1000+) photos from Iphoto... where would these be listed? I don't see titles of the programs or folders called video or photo or pictures or anything along those lines. I even did a search of the drive for .mov and got nothing....
    Help!

    You should never, NEVER use Finder to view or manage files on a Time Machine back-up.
    With the Time Machine drive mounted, click the Time Machine icon at the top menu bar. Amongst the choices that come up is, "Enter Time Machine". A "Finder-like" set of windows hovering in outer space will open with your back-ups layered by date of the backup (shown below). Once you navigate to (using the big silver arrows), find the date you want, click on the folder icon in the window that will navigate your way to the file(s) you want to see, or restore.
    At that point you can "see" whether the files you wanted to check on are there. You can also restore any files you wish to do so, by highlighting (clicking a file or folder), then hit the "Restore" button at the bottom right of the window.

    Now I can find its map name.
    Thanks.

    Hello!
    I found the answer myself now.
    The XLST files are part of the static web content of the MI project Visiprise.
    In the SAP MII workbench go to the project Visiprise
    Then under the tab Web the static contecnt can be found under the folder WEB/XSLT/..

  • Where to find IPSW file on Windows 7

    Where on my windows 7 laptop, I can locate IPSW files. I have downloaded firmware on D drive. I have iPad 3 with iOS 5.1.1 version.
    Thanks

    Connect the iPad to the PC, open iTunes on the PC, right click the name of the iPad in the iTunes' devices list and chose update. In the resulting pop up window, browse to where you downloaded the ISPW file on the D drive and choose it. ITunes will then handle the rest of the process.

  • Where to find the file controlling the password manager?

    Looking to find out if there is a similar file in firefox 4 beta 9 to the file nsLoginManager.js from firefox 3.5. I want to allow password manager to save passwords to all sites.

    It still uses the same file, but it is contained within the omni.jar archive. omni.jar appears to use non-standard methods when compressing the file, so making changes to files inside it may lead to unexpected results and may cause problems with Firefox.
    There are alternative methods to get around passwords not being remembered, for details see http://kb.mozillazine.org/User_name_and_password_not_remembered

  • Knowing service_name of my database; where to find parameter file.

    To All,
    I have Oracle 9i. How can I find the service_name (inorder to specify it in the tnsnames.ora) of my database..?
    Also Is it possible that the name of my parameter file in the location 'H:\orawin95\admin\thomas\pfile\' be init.ora ....? ie, without the instance name as a suffix to the filename after init. Or is the parameter file in some other location...?
    my oracle_home is 'H:\orawin95'
    db_name is : 'thomas'
    instance name is : 'toms'
    thanks in advance
    [email protected]

    service name is nothing but your tnsname or the string you connect to the database from a client machine. Look into your tnsnames.ora file or to create one, use network configuration assistant.
    You can have init file with suffixing its instance name, but, it would be good for administration purpose in the multi-instance, spefically, oracle. You can also keep the init.ora file in any directory that you need, the only thing is that you need to specify the file location when starting your database with pfile parameter with startup command.

  • Where to find WSDL files in CRMOD R18

    I am having trouble finding the WSDL downloads in the latest version of CRMOD (R18) In the past they were available by clicking Admin and then they were in the bottom left corner. The docs say they should be there as well: https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/docs/1.12.0.1220.0.00/enu/help/index.htm?toc.htm?webservinteghelp.html
    could this be because my account is a demo account (as far as i know it is, the top links along the right say demo support):
    * Demo Support
    * Admin
    * My Setup
    * Deleted Items
    * Help
    * Sign Out

    Possible because it is a Demo account. I am looking at R18 now and they are still in the same place

  • Where to find files on my ipad

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I FIND MY FILES ON MY IPAD?,,I JUST GOT IT AND HAVE NEVER USED A MAC BEFORE,,ALSO HOW TO KEEP THE LIGHTS ON AT THE BOTTOM AND FIND THE HISTORY? AND ALL DOWNLOADED PROGRAMS?,,
    THANKS ,,
    < Edited By Host >

    If you mean you just got your iPad and you have not set it up, you should see a picture on the screen of a USB cable and the words iTunes.  This is telling you need to connect the iPad to your computer via the supplied USB cable and your computer needs to have the latest version of iTunes.  Connect your iPad, open iTunes and iTunes will walk you through the set up.  Then you can download Apps, sync music, pictures etc.
    Open the following link to get started:  http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/

  • Re-installed itunes; now how do I tell the program where to find music on my external?

    I just uninstalled and reinstalled itunes. I keep my files on an external hard drive--but in 2 different folders on the same hard drive. Problems: 1. Itunes does not know where to find the files. I get a little exclamation point next to all the songs. 2. Only songs from one of the two locations show up at all.
    Less important, though still of interest to me: Only some of my playlists are showing up as well. I think I had two different itunes library .xml files before. And it is looking at the older of the two. Is that possible?
    Thanks

    Try restarting AppleTV by unpowering as well as restarting computer/iTunes and router.

  • C++ - JNI on a SuSe Linux - Can't seem to find my Java files

    Hi all,
    I have been playing around with the JNI for a bit now on my windows box and got it working fine and all :) Now, however, I need to port my stuff to a SuSe linux, and I have started out really basic - just trying to start the JVM too see how that went... badly, would be the answer to that question, in case you were wondering.
    I made a really simple textbook example (alot of those, when searching this forum - and searched, I have) to just create myself a JVM. I am not even daring to actually try and find any classes, call methods or anything as bold as that yet.
    My example compiles fine, but when I run the program I get this error message:
    "Can't find class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError. Invalid class path ?"
    Now, please note, this is not the actual NoClassDefFoundError exception being thrown here, but looks to me as if the system wanted to throw that exception object, but couldn't even find the object to throw at me ;-)
    This leads me to believe that there's is something really basic wrong with my Java setup here. I can run "java" just fine from the commandline, but it occurs to me, that the JVM, when invoked via the JNI, can't find it's own stuff.
    Any suggestion what needs to be done here?
    I can post code if that helps, but I doubt that is the problem - as it is really textbook stuff and I can get this stuff to work on Windows. I think the problem is "external" to my code, as it happens before I even try to use the JVM. Maybe some env vars needs to be set? I have manually tried to export a CLASSPATH variable, just to see if that helped - I even tried adding full path to core.jar in my "-Djava.class.path" property ;-)
    I have tried removing and adding the Java RPM's again (Java version 1.4.1 FYI) to no avail aswell.

    Hi,
    As you hv started working on JNI. You must know the following things.
    1. If you want to work on Windows they must hv to hv a .dll file of your c/C++ program while on linux you should have .so file. i.e. shared object file.
    2. On Linux you should set LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to your the path where you have stored your .so file.
    Let me know if you do have above things and still getting error.
    - Uday
    P.S. You will find help on internet abt How to make dll's and .so file?
