Where to find system reboot error message
I saw some error message associated with dbora when I reboot the linux system. But the message disappears very fast. Where is the system reboot error message stored? Or what command that I can use to view the error message?
Thanks!
/var/log
If you can not find logs there, ask your Linux administrator for the location.

Where I can find the XML error messages repository?
Hi guys,
I don't know where I can find the XML error messages repository? (SXMB_MONI)
I found a structure SXMSMSGDSP! But this is only a structure... I need a table or something like a program who can handle this structure.
I think, this structure is used to shown an ALV, but first, a method read from memory and handle these data to ALV functions.
There is a simple table or a kind of way to access this data (error messages) and manipulate it?
Thanks in advance,
Ricardo.Hi,
U can check Table <b>SXMSPERROR</b> in in SE11....

IDOCS - Finding the first error message when reprocess has been done 17000 times
I was hoping for some assistance. We have an automated reprocessing of our iDocs in one interface. I would like to find the first error message at status 51 in order to see the failure messge. Since the idocs have been reprocessed so many times, it cannot be found in the iDoc handler. Please advise if you have tips.
This message looks like homemade. And the message will not change, no matter how often you repost the same IDOC without having changed anything.
So you should at least see the message number to this message in the EDIDS table
You can search SCN using this number, you can search for OSS notes with this number, or you get active yourself in SAP and check the where used list from SE91 transaction to know in which program this error is triggered and under what circumstances -

I frequently get the "Firefox can't find the server" error message. Refreshing the page normally causes the page to load, although sometimes it takes more than one try.
I have checked my connection settings. Where can I find what the error messages of Time Machine means?
Checking my System Log Queries I found the following:
Could not back up OS X Recovery to /Volumes/Backup2/Backups.backupdb: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-10 "Could not create com.apple.Boot.plist for recovery set" (kCFURLUnknownError / dsMacsBugInstalled: ) UserInfo=0x7fed8b312100 {NSLocalizedDescription=Could not create com.apple.Boot.plist for recovery set}
Can anyone explain what this means, and is it "fatal" in such a way that the backup made is useless for restoring? Where can I find documentation for such messages?
HansI reinstalled OS X just as you recommended. It seems that the error message concerning the Recovery set changed:

Where I can find the "complete error message"
Hi, All
I'm reading the J2EE 5 tutorial on JSF. It mentioned "See section 2.4.5 of the JavaServer Faces specification, version 1.2, for a complete list of error messages" in http://java.sun.com/javaee/5/docs/tutorial/doc/bnast.html . I cannot find out where it is.
Pls help.

System Exec error message help
I have a piece of code as shown in the attached jpg. And I have it deployed just as shown, without the error cluster being wired. I use this piece of code to ping a server to see if it's there, meaning to see if it responds with a correct ping response. If so, I then move forward with writing a data file to that server that I write every half hour for days or weeks at a time. If the ping response is not correct, I simply go on and return one half hour later with even a larger (appended) data file to write. My main intent is to not have my code sit and wait, trying to write a file to a server that might not be there...
I've used this same code and technique for years without fail. Until recently. When it did finally fail, I got the worst of all possible outcomes where the ping command itself caused my code to hang with error messages I will provide shortly. And I'm hoping someone can tell me what would even cause a message like those below in the first place... The entire goal of using this ping of the server was to avoid having the "write file" command get held hostage by the server not being there... But if the ping command itself causes the code to put up error messages (and no one is there to monitor this typically) then that constitutes a situation where my cure became my problem.
See in the jpg where I use
ping -w 200 -n 1
followed by the name or IP address of the server. (that's what comes out of the "ping" control you see in the jpg).
The -w 200 modifier is a 200 ms timeout to wait.
The -n 1 is the number (1) of echo requests to send.
When this code fails, it puts up, in sequence, four messages like the one below. Note that this code is running from an executable that would be found on this Windows XP machine at
C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxuser\My Documents\my_executables\
The first of the four messages, each of which you have to click OK to to see the next one, is as follows.
The file C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxuser\My Documents\my_executables\-w could not be opened. No application was found to open that type of file
The second message is identical to the above except the "-w" is replaced by "200" (without the quotes).
Same with the third message except the "200" is now replaced by "1" (without the quotes).
Same again with the fourth message except the "1" is now replaced by the full name of the server, eg., "myserver.abc.com" (without the quotes).
Clearly the System Exec.vi (see that in jpg) is parsing up the ping command, but skipping over the "-n" component(???), and it thinks it's supposed to try to open some non-existent file at the same file location as the executable that is executing my code.
I get this result rarely so it's hard to figure out what's going on. Anyone have any ideas what might cause such an error and any hints on how to prevent this show stopping error from occurring??? Do I perhaps just need to practice better programming and wire the error cluster on System Exec.vi???
Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated... thanks.. bob..

ping pic.jpg 19 KBIt appears to me that your ping command is getting mangled on its way to the command shell, like something is interrupting it or trying to run at the same time.
When it says the executable cannot be opened, I believe that is because it's trying to process that character or string as its own separate command, instead of as a flag of your ping command.
I don't know why that would happen or what outside program could be interfering with your call to the command shell.
I do think that Wart's suggestion is a good one: the cmd /c part should send the command through a slightly different channel that may preven this interference.

"unsupported system version error" Message
I just loaded Mavericks, upgrading from snow leopard server. Everything uploaded great except I keep getting an error message that keeps popping up saying "unsupported system version error." It tells me that I need some version of Mac OSX 10.6 to 10.8 to run this application. What application is it talking about? Everytime that I click "OK" to close the error box, it popps right back open immediately all over again. Annoying! I can't get rid of it.
My question is what app is doing this? It doesn't tell me. How do I delete it off my system to stop this annoyance? When I mouse over the icon in the dock it says "Quay Menu" I have no idea what this is or what I should do? Any help woud be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,

How to find Jolt client error message
We are using Java Servlet/Jolt to talk with our Tux services.
We got two kinds of error messages like following:
Error message:TPESVCERR - server error while handling request
Error number:10
Error number:
and
Error message:TPETIME - timeout occured
Error number:13
Error number:
Could anyone to point where we can find more detailed information
about Jolt error 10 and 13.
Thank you in advanceTux 71,
The error messages are not Jolt but Tuxedo.
Extracts from the Tuxedo documentation (6.5) :-
TPESVCERR
A service routine encountered an error either in tpreturn(3c) or tpforward(3c)
(for example, bad arguments were passed). No reply data is returned when this
error occurs (that is, neither odata, its contents, nor olen is changed). If
the service request was made on behalf of the caller's transaction (that is, TPNOTRAN
was not set), then the transaction is marked abort-only. Note that so long as
the transaction has not timed out, further communication may be performed before
aborting the transaction and that any work performed on behalf of the caller's
transaction will be aborted upon transaction completion (that is, for subsequent
communication to have any lasting effect, it should be done with TPNOTRAN set).
If either SVCTIMEOUT in the ubbconfig file or TA_SVCTIMEOUT in the TM_MIB is non-zero,
TPESVCERR is returned when a service timeout occurs.
TPETIME
A timeout occurred. If the caller is in transaction mode, then a transaction timeout
occurred and the transaction is marked abort-only; otherwise, a blocking timeout
occurred and neither TPNOBLOCK nor TPNOTIME was specified. In either case, neither
odata, its contents, nor olen is changed. If a transaction timeout occurred,
then with one exception, any attempts to send new requests or receive outstanding
replies will fail with TPETIME until the transaction has been aborted. The exception
is a request that does not block, expects no reply, and is not sent on behalf
of the caller's transaction (that is, tpacall with TPNOTRAN, TPNOBLOCK, and TPNOREPLY
set).

"Hmm we're having trouble finding that page" error message
Hi all,
There is a known issue where many pages are returning a "Hmm we're having trouble finding that page"
Our team is working on this issue right now. When we know, I will update this thread.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
JoeI've been catching up on The Office online through my xfinity streampicks subscription, but now I get an error message saying "Hmmm, we're having trouble watching that page." I just watched an episode yesterday, and the last season JUST ended at the beginning of the summer. Is it really gone from streampicks??

(unplug, wait, replug, turn on, repeat/repeat...)
I have removed all of the ink cartridges, I have removed the printhead...
None of these are ameliorating the problem. The printer was working fine
until I replaced a cartridge. This ALWAYS happens when I install
fresh ink. But after 20 times of turning it off/on again it usually kicks in and
decides to print.
Not this time. It is not budging. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! I can't even get it to clean
the printhead for this roadblock.
Please...help? Thank you...
This little printer is otherwise a workhorse for me.Hi @LC60
I am happy to hear this printer has been such a work horse for you, but I am afraid to say, this may be the end of the road for this little horse.
You can try the steps in the following document (most of which I think you have probably done), but if the issue persists, it may be time to consider a newer model; 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' 'Ink System Failure,' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error M...
Thanks for reaching out to the HP Forums. If it comes to a point that you decide on a newer model, you could call us. We may be able to offer you a discount on a newer printer If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.

Cannot find tnsnames.ora error message
We are using oracle 10.2.0.1 via Toad. I get a cannot find tnsnames.ora file error message and see only a tnsnames.ora file in the sample file under the c:\ORACLE\product\10.2.0.1\NETWORK\ADMIN\ directory.
Do I need to create this file, and if so how do I do this?
Thanks in advance for your help

Can I just use direct connect and the sqlnet editor?YES! -
"Cannot Find Server" Constant Error Message
I've been having this problem for quite some time. I will attempt to connect to a website only to wait forever and then get a "Cannot find server" error message. It's not just with one site, it happens with many.
It's also random. Sometimes everything connects fine and fast, and then inexplicably I get "Cant' find server" for sites like Facebook, Amazon, even Apple. It can start working again for a few minutes and then in an instant I'm getting error messages again.
However, my email always works fine.
And this is NOT a Safari problem. I also get the same trouble when I switch to Firefox or Explorer. My ISP says it's an Airport / Mac issue since it all works fine if I direct connect to the laptop and because my email is also working.
In addition, when I'm having this problem, my iPhone also cannot connect to the WWW but can get email.
I've tried powercycling the modem and the airport numerous times. It's really becoming a pain.
Any thoughts?Me too I tried everything. I am an Apple fan with 2 computers,3 iPods. I have no idea what the problem is. I had to re-run the disk each time to find the internet. Finally tried a Linksys Grouter worked first time-laptop anywhere in the house strong signal. I have had similar problems with an Airport Express-never got it to work-so tried the Extreme. I returned it-I didn't want to but I just could not get it to work.

I was asked if I wished to download the latest version of iTunes to my computer. I have failed to do so. Error message : 'Apple Mobile Device failed to start'. Verify that you have sufficient privilages to start system services. I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it and continue to receive this message. I have untl now had no previous problems downloading iTunes.. any help would be greatly appreicated.
I tried and don't have that.
Doublechecking. Do you mean you you don't have the QTMovieWin.dll?
Did you proceed with the measures after that? (In the second box?)
