Find which user has "Personal Greeting"
Dear NetPro gurus,
Is there any tools that can help my customer to view at a glance which user has used Personal Greeting, and which are just using System Default greeting??
One of my customers has over 1,000 users and I was wondering whether such tool exist rather than having me to click on each user mailbox one-by-one.
I did tried to export using Bulk Administration Tool as well as using User Dump Tool but neither allows me to see who has used Personal Greeting on their mailbox.
I have spent a lot of time research on this already. Would greatly appreciated if anyone can shed some light on this.
Cheers,
HuntYou had a previous post on this in which I provided the following:
When you run the Subscriber Information Dump for Unity, you have the option to pull the WAV file info for greetings as well as data for which greeting(s) are enabled. When you do that, you would be able to see the following:
Greeting WAV file – standard. This will include the WAV file name of the standard greeting for a subscriber. The WAV file itself is copied into the same directory where you select the CSV File to be written to so be sure to pick a directory that has enough space to store all the greeting files. The file will be named with the alias of the subscriber followed by “_GREETING_STANDARD.WAV”. If there is no standard greeting recorded for the subscriber, the column will be empty. If there is a standard greeting it will be copied to the output directory as noted and the file name used will be written in the column.
I haven't looked at this data for the purpose you intend but the standard (and alternate) greetings are the most commonly used. When you set up your mailbox, it asks you to record a personal greeting (this would be the Standard greeting). If you do not record a personal greeting then the system default would be used. So, if I have a personal greeting then the applicable Greeting WAV file output in the subscriber dump should be populated. Otherwise, it would be blank. Should be easy for you to test and verify if this is the case.
I think this will give you what you need. Did you take a look at this data yet?

Finding which condition has changed in ME12
Hi All,
I have a requirement that on change on a condition in Info record(ME12), i have to trigger a workflow. I am able to trigger a workflow based on CDO INFOSATZ.
Now i need to send only that condition type for approval which has changed.
Assume 4 condtions in info record, then on change and save of a particular Condition type in ME12, i need to send only that changed condtion for approval to resp approver depending on condition type.
I am not able to track how system will determine which condition has changed.
I have thought of below approaches
1) Create a custom Change document object for Condition tables
2) Enable logging using SCU3
How does SAP update conditions in ME12? On Change, does it update all conditions again or only data which has changed?
Thanks for your help

How to find which user has access to Discoverer Reports?
I need to find users having access to Discovered reports using a script. How can I do that?
Hi,
You need to give more details...
Are you using oracle applications? are the users database users?
If you use oracle application you can use the following:
SELECT DISTINCT Disco_Docs.Doc_Name "Discoverer Workbook"
,Trunc(Disco_Docs.Doc_Created_Date) "Workbook Create Date"
,CASE
WHEN Instr(Disco_Docs.Doc_Created_By

How to find which Port has the highest traffic (both in/out) in switch
Hello,
I have a 3550 switch with 48 port having 12.1 code.
Need to know which port is causing the highest traffic , i mean to track which user is downloading/uploading the most.
I was able to track this in CATOS with the command sh top and that will tell the port, but in IOS based switches i was not able to find
Can some one help. You can try with the following command:
show interfaces summary
Output shows the traffic for all ports instead of the top one only, but you can find the top from this output. Or you can install an MRTG or Cacti for monitor the used bandwith.

How to find which component has a partial trigger to a specific component
Hi,
Not sure if this question has been posted earlier. Apology for repeating, but I need to know how to do this and could not find the answer by searching the forum.
I want to know if there is a way to find out what all components that use a specific component in its partial trigger. So lets say I have two selectoneChoice.
<af:selectOneChoice id="soc1" autoSubmit="true"
value="parent"
/>
<af:selectOneChoice id="soc2" autoSubmit="true"
value="child1" partialTriggers="soc1"
/>
<af:selectOneChoice id="soc3" autoSubmit="true"
value="child2" partialTriggers="soc1"
/>
There is the soc2.getPartialTriggers() method that gives on the partialtriggers on soc2. However, I want to know how can soc1 know who all are using it as their partialTriggers.
Appreciate any clues and help.because i want to add a common valuechange listener method in my backing bean on the parent component that will update all its child components with a specific same value.

Where to find a VGA DE-15 to DVI-I connector/adapter ?
Well, I receive my new Mac Pro (Apple Mac Pro Desktop 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Quad) When I tried to hook up my Samsung SyncMaster 910T
the connectors don't match.
Mine has 15 pins (3 row of 5, with the middle one out of sync with the two others. I found out it is called a VGA Male connector DE-15
It look like this : (the male connector on the right)
http://pinouts.ru/Video/VGA15_pinout.shtml
My computer has a DVI-I (dual link) port (3 row of 8 in a perfect rectangle. (24 pins)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigitalVisualInterface (under connector second drawing)
Here is what the Samsung manual says:
Input Signal, Terminated
RGB Analog , DVI (Digital Visual Interface) Compliant Digital RGB
0.7Vp-p Positive at 75 ohms
Separate H/V sync, Composite sync, SOG, TTL level positive or negative.
15pin-to-15pin D-sub cable, detachable
DVI-D to DVI-D connector, detachable
Where can I find a cable, male to male, that has the VGA Male connector DE-15 on one end and the DVI-I connector at the other end ?
Or perhaps an adapter ?LCD does not mean digital, right?
LCDs use digital internally but some will accept analog input.
I thought that a CRT monitor (remember those?) is analog and a LCD is digital.
Yes but some LCDs (not Apple's) will accept analog.
When I turn on my Monitor from sleep it shows Analog then digital then analog.
It has both analog and digital inputs. It is trying to find which input has a video signal.
When I shut it then turn it on it shows Analog. What does that mean ? It's a flat LCD monitor not a CRT is it still analog?
It is digital, but also has analog input, and will convert it to digital internally.
I believe it's digital, so why does it say Analog?
In addition to digital, it has analog input so it can be used with computers that don't jave digital.>
Now, I guess it says so about the connection ( I use the VGA connection).
I can imagine people here shaking their head (blush, shame) but I never felt the need to think about this.
Now I believe that a LCD monitor in general is analog (and I guess some digital ?)
Some LCDs have only analog input. (Rare now, but was common when most computers were only analog video output.)
Some LCDs, such as Apple's, are digital only. This saves money when it will be used only with computers that have digital video output.
Some LCDs have both digital and analog video inputs, so they can be used with any computer. This costs a bit more to make, but they have to make only one model to work with any computer.
So what is a digital monitor?
A LCD with digital input.
As I said before my monitor came with 2 cables
15pin-to-15pin D-sub cable, (VGA Male/Male DE-15) and a
DVI-D to DVI-D connector.
My monitor has 2 socket/port one digital , one analog. I can use any of them?
Yes, but digital may give a slightly sharper picture.
If my monitor is not digital how come it has a digital port?
It is digital.
I read here (in the middle of the article, below the drawing of the Color coded female DVI connector)
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigitalVisualInterface>
"The long flat pin.....It is possible, however, to connect a male DVI-D cable to a female DVI-I connector. Many flat panel LCD monitors have only the DVI-D connection so that a DVI-D male to DVI-D male cable will suffice when connecting the monitor to a computer's DVI-I female connector."
Although DVI-D stands for Digital only. Me confused !
I put this DVI-D Male to Male cable into the DVI-I port of my new computer and it fit. I was about to put the other end into the monitor but stopped because I don't want to connect if I'm not supposed to do so. I don't want to damage anything. So before I connect, I like to ask here :
is it safe? is it OK?
Yes. Yes. Apple computers use DVI-I which has both analog and digital video signals. You can use a DVI-D cable for digital video, or use the DVI to VGA adapter that came with the computer, and a VGA cable for analog video. Digital should give a shaper picture. There shout be a switch or setting on the display to select which input is used. If possible, set it to use just the digital input. -

How to find which sub-vi is running in highlight execution mode?
Hi there,
It sometimes happens that while debugging you program you open a lot of sub-vis put probes in many places turn on highlight execution in dirrerent sub-vis and then forget to turn it off.
You close all sub-vis and run software and it runs SLOOOOW. Then you need to go and find that sub-vi that runs in highlight execution mode.
I was just wondering if there is an easy/automatic way find which vi has highlight execution mode turned on?
Solved!
Go to Solution. Here is a small utility to switch off Execution Highlight mode off all opened subvis. Drop it into the Project subfolder in the LabVIEW application folder, then restart LabVIEW. A new item "Stop Highlight mode..." will appear in the Tools menu. Enjoy !
