I have been looking for an iPad Safari developers forum, where there will be some Safari gurus who can answer a question I have about the "webkit-user-select: none" CSS setting and its effect, if any, upon the touch-event-to-mouse-event mappings in iPad-Safari. Can anyone here point me to a site where Safari programmers discuss the inner workings of the Safari browser?

Working on a MAC with a Kobo. ADE won't let me read DRM books - 4.0 crashes when opening library books (EVERY. SINGLE. TIME) so I installed 3.0 and now I get an "activation error". The szenario is, I've got a Java application and I want to connect to a SAP System. For this I want to use SSO. In the documentation of JCO I found this phrase:
For SSO specify the user to be $MYSAPSSO2$ and pass the base64 encoded ticket as as the passwd parameter.
Well... Now my question... Where to get this base64 ticket from? The problem is, I'm NOT using WebDynpro, it's a custom application running on client side. Now how to get the needed information? (PSE?)

How can I get someone to answer the phone? I'm ready to give VERIZON my business. I sat on the phone for over 20 minutes only to be transferred to "Sales." I then sat on the phone for another 15 minutes!!!! I finally hung up.
It takes an enormous amount of patience and time to get through to a qualified person.
My Samsung S5 was locked out and needed a factory reset. Including attempts to achieve this locally, it took over an hour before my problem was even addressed.
You may be interested in my journey to a very good technical support person.
First I called the local sales person who had given me his personal business card with the friendly advice to call me with any questions. No answer at about 8:30 am when the business was open. His voice mailbox was full.
Then I called the local store where I had purchased the phone. The person who answered the phone had learned all the proper stock phrases, but was not familiar with the issue, stated that there were no customers in the store, and I should go there in about an hour when there would be more staff. He suggested dialing *411 from my phone (which was locked). Then he gave me a number to call Verizon, which he had to look up, and it took a minute or so. The number was (removed). That is an internal number for employees and contractors and requires a code to access, obviously not designed for customers' use. He finally cut me off by stating that there were a number of customers in line waiting for his attention!
After researching all my papers I found 800-922-0204 on my bill. The automated message suggested a hold time of 5 minutes, it took 20 minutes for a Customer Service Representative to pick up, and then I was referred to technical assistance. The hold time was announced to take 5 minutes, after 12 minutes I finally was connected.
Fortunately I had my computer set up for Skype on a loudspeaker, and was able to do some other paperwork while waiting.
Persistence was rewarded by having the good fortune to be connected to a very experienced, qualified and patient technical support staff with the name of Thomas (removed). He solved my problem, answered my questions during the process of resetting the phone, and gave an example of courteous and kind customer service that I had never experienced before when dealing with any major internet company.

TRYING TO ACTIVATE A trial version of photoshop elements 7.0 disc worked till in the middle got an erroe fur and animalskin file missing checked dvd and it had a scratch so 3 times i downloaded a trial version of photoshop elements 7.0 from adobe.com but when try to activate get invalid serial number the website said have your serial number ready to activate which i do because i am getting it right from the dvd case it is registered i am signed in and chat just keeps telling me it is too old try the forums which i have many times with no resolution but they mark it as assumed resolved premeir elements 7.0 from the same dvd case is on why can't i activate trial version of photoshop elements 7.0 my computer crashed and i had to restore then i am now trying to put the programs
maybe i can buy or exchange the dvd of photoshop elements 7.0 without because my serial number is good so i maybe just need a new disc being this disc is scratched i've got 40 to 50 hours into this 1 trial version of photoshop elements 7.0 more than i have in the whole computer restore and all the other programs i have restored have windows xp service pack 3 or 3.5 and net framework 4.0 and all the important and required updates i also have an open case which i am getting no where either case #213952591 which i responded to within 4 days as not resolved but i am still getting no help activating this trial version of photoshop elements 7.0

I have an iphone 2g unlocked for tmobile. For the past 2 years it has worked fine then out of no where I get this message "your selected cellular network is no longer available" and the service cuts in and out all day. It can't find tmobile on my phone for some reason but for 2 years previous it could no problem? tmobile says it is a problem with my phone and not their service.
Any ideas what to do?I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.

You will be given the option to restore to that backup at the end of the restore process. Your messages are stored in the backup so restoring to the backup will return the messages to your phone. If you have a credit card on file on top of your gift card then it is asking you to confirm the security code for the card, which for a Visa or MasterCard is 3 digits located on the back, or AMEX has 4 digits on the front. This happens just to ensure that you are the account holder, and would happen from time to time whether it was a free or paid app, even if you have a credit through your gift card. This doesn't mean that your credit card will be charged.

Why can't I get a straight answer re: Multi Room DVR and HD Boxes
A rep that I spoke w/ on the phone and the website tells me that the HD set top boxes are not compatiable w/ the Multi Room DVR. But they are working on it. A rep I chatted w/ today told me they definitely WILL work together. Why can't I get a straight answer?? And what IS the correct answer? I want to switch to FIOS and I really like the Multi Room DVR option, but I don't want my 1 of my 2 main TVs to be w/o HD. And since the Multi Room Box is HD why wouldn't it be compatiable w/ the HD boxes??

And that info is out of date, whether it is on Verizon's website or not. If you have the latest level of the IMG (1.6), then, as confirmed one post above yours, that the HD STB is now supported, and works. This has been posted in multiple posts on multiple forums, so I believe that it is accurate. But I do not have the 1.6 level so I cannot confirm that personally, I can only repeat what other posters in this and other forums have said. For example:

Is there anyone or anywhere you can get a straight answer from openreach on when a cabinet wil be connected?
I think I know whats going on. They are connecting exchanges to meet targets but not bothering with cabinets. Exchange connected = Fibre in area but the reality is very different.
I know this isnt an openreach forum but this seems to full of knowledgeable and helpful people. Maybe somone can find out when we can expect a power cable to be plugged into our cabinet. Seems to be most of our town that despite being 'enabled' cant get connectedHi Huwflet,

Solution Manager does not get service definitions from SAP in self diagnosi

In our production solution manager transaction solution_manager, self diagnosis we are getting a warning message on our development solution manager.
Solution Manager XXX does not get service definitions from SAP.
The production Solution Manager is the master in SDCCN for the test Solution Manager. In the test Solution Manager, the scheduled task REFRESH SERVICE DEFINITIONS has task System ID of O01. It is pointed to RFC destination SDCC_OSS, not the production Solution Manager system.
It gives the same warning if I point the task to the production Solution Manager system.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas?

i guess have you activated SDCCN from your solution manager system too?
if not please activate. since that setup helps solman retrive the service definitions used in SDCCN from SAP (SAPOSS).so this ultimately allows you to set solution manager system as Master, so all the satellite system get the service definition from solman and do not need a direct SAPOSS connection.
