Where to get detail information of OLE2 parameters?

I need to use ole2 to call Words and Excel from Forms 6i, however, I found that it is difficult to found detail parameters about OLE in Words and Excel, even sample code too....
Can anyone teach me where can I find the sample codes and parameters of Forms 6i call Words and Excel....

Where can I get detailed information on using new 2.2 features/upgrades?

For example, the new Return to Home feature in Safari. I don't get this one at all. Pushing the Home button while browsing in Safari takes me to the regular Home (menu) page like it always did. Since I can't find any instructions or detailed information for this feature I don't have a clue as to what I'm supposed to do/see. One would think that every new feature/upgrade in version 2.2 would be adequately explained somewhere. ??

I guess I should explain it better. I know that if I'm in a app and hit the Home button it will take me make to the Main Menu screen. What's happening is that if I on, say, page 3 of a website and hit the Home button, it takes me all the way back to the Main Menu screen. I expected, based on what I've read about this new feature, that if I was a page 3 of a website and hit the Home button that it would take me to the first page of the website. I'm just really confused about this new feature as it doesn't seem to do anything that I'm noticing.

there are lot of API functions in tsapicvi.h,some of them I can get the description in teststand help file,for example, if I want to know TS_EngineGetUIMessage, I search the "GetUIMessage" in teststand help file,it will get the description.but some API I can not get description in help file,for example ,TS_EngineGetStationOptions,TS_StationOptionsSetTracingEnabled......, why? where I can find all function's description?thanks.

Basically these are set of trainings arranged by SAP. You will have to enroll for trainings where you will also be provided all relavent documents of the course you attended.

with your key word search this is your first lookout for any kind of materials on SAP technologies. ( You have to help your self by doing searching.)

There is limited curriculum and train the trainer material on experts.
However, your best bet may be going to OTN and downloading some of the experts as an example. Take a look at what's there
Look up tcl material at http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.5/TclCmd/contents.htm and use this in conjunction with the examples.
If you have specific questions on how to accomplish something, ask them on this forum.

SAP_WAPI_GET_OBJECTS: How to get detailed values

Hi experts,
I am using BAPI SAP_WAPI_GET_OBJECTS to get container information within my Java Web Dynpro Application. This RFC (BAPI) contains some information about the used Business Object with the given Import-Parameter and some other general values (in TABLE Output Objects and Objects2) but I also need the dependent values from this Business Object. For example, I use BUS1001with a material number as input in order to get detailed information like material group and other values in that container.
How can I retrieve that in BAPIs (RFC) in order to use it in Web Dynpro? Are there some other existing BAPIs, I can use to get these information?

Hi,
If you need just few attributes from the business object(s), it might be easier to just bind them from the business object to the task container. Then you can read the container with SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER.
If you want to really instantiate the business objects, you need to develop your own RFC enabled function. And even then it might be finally easier (inside your custom function) to get your needed business data by using some other BAPIs or even direct SELECTs from database with your key fields.

The flashback is not enabled. But archive log list shows archive destination is specified to use_db_recovery_file_dest. And I checked the log_archive_dest_10 still empty

You need to download the JCE 1.2.1 that is available on the http://java.sun.com website. Once you download the software, you need to make the jar files available. It is easiest to place the JCE jar files in the extension mechanism folder since permission has already been granted, by default, to any code in that folder. That folder is JAVA_HOME\lib\ext on Windows. JAVA_HOME is where the Java Runtime Environment is installed.
When using JarSafe with Java Web Start, make sure that the JCE jar files are placed in the extension mechanism folder of the JRE that Java Web Start is using.
