I lost 1 screw while upgrading RAM on my mid 2009 15" Unibody MacBook Pro. 1 small screw is missing. Any idea where can I get one?

Does anyone know the part number(s) or where I can get the screws to re-mount the stand to my iMac?

It's acting as if the temp sensor is not connected. I have it bookmarked amidst thousands of bookmarks but can't remember the name right now. There is some program out there that, in the absence of getting data from the internal sensor, will regulate the fan speed based on the SMART temp. If I think of it, I'll post back.

None of these things were happening previously. I have lots of projects that I store on Promise Pegasus drives via Thunderbolt. I only keep a few projects and the associated events open in FCPX at a time, otherwise I use Event Managaer X to keep track of them. Can anybody give me any suggestions as to why this is occurring and what I can do to remedy it? I have the latest version of FCPX as far as I can tell. This is driving me mad and costing me significant time while editing. By the way, I am doing just basic editing. Essentially trimming, cutting and adding some transitions and a few title screens. Thanks in advance for your help.

These apperarances of the spinning wheel tend to be related to some io operation that takes too long. Maybe the finder is trying to reach a network server that became unavailable.
I would try clearing caches and do an overall maintenance with an utility like OnyX.
Also, trashing preferences does no harm and is often the first troubleshooting measure when FCP X misbehaves.

Where can I go to in Apple to get my RAM upgraded?

I'm still under AppleCare, and I have 4GB of RAM already.
It's a bit laggy, and I was thinking of upgrading to an SSD hdd and more RAM.
Is that something worth doing?
Will I void my AppleCare? Else, where do I go to upgrade and yet still keep my AppleCare?

I understand that you can do the ram upgrade yourself. this is considered a user option and will not affect warranty provided you take the usual precautions of disconnecting power and if the battery is removable do this also. Then make sure that you touch the case of the MBP before handling the ram - to discharge any possible static on your body. Don't touch the pins of the chips as this can damage the chips.
I'm not sure whether replacing the hdd with solid state comes in the realm of user replaceable. If it fits in the same mount & uses the same connectors I guess it might.
The advantage of solid state is that it is very fast and unlikely to fail as there are no moving parts.

Lost power while downloading Software Updates...

Hi,
I would like to get some guidance in the following situation. I was using the Software Update utility in OSX Lion to download some updates for my computer. Everything was working fine until my home lost power while the computer was in the middle of downloading one of the patches. Since my Mac is a MacBook Pro the computer stayed on during the brief outage (lasting less than a minute), but software update showed a warning message indicating that some downloads could not be finished due to a lost of connectivity. I clicked the "OK" button and was returned to the SU downloads list. When the connection was reestablished I clicked again the install button. The dowloads continued and the computer then restarted to install them.
Since the update download was interrupted and then the item continued to download from where it let off; are there any chances of data curruption? or the software update has some redundancies to detect the corrupted update data?

Perfect, so I won't need to wipe my drive and reinstall Lion again. So far it seems that all updates are running OK, I am not seeing any indications of errors in Console at the time indicating some type of corruption.

While I remove the customizations I get the complete seeded o/p but as and when I start extending and substituting HeaderVO and LinesVO the error comes.

A jsp page can not read view obects, because in a jsp how would u get AM refrence.The only way to use view object in a jsp is to create a standalone AM and then create dynamic VOs, but this is not at all recommeneded approach and i doubt user would have followed it.Secondly if this is Oracle html quoting, this should not be a oaf page.
Because user is talking in terms of VO, it looks like some oaf page, if this oaf page, then getting error stack would only be possible through FND:Diagnostics

I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.

I am getting the below error while executing a unix script which connect to DB and returns a value. Why we get such issues/ anything wrong in the setup ?

I tried to move my PE6 install and catalog to a new computer. It was on a Dell Windows XP machine, and I moved it to a Toshiba Windows 7 (64 bit) machine. I have always kept my photo files on an external hard drive. My photo library is 50GB, 10,000 files. Here is what I did.
Copied the original PE6 install file to the Toshiba. Installed but didn’t activate it.
Copied the entire My Catalog folder to the proper Windows 7 location.
Plugged the external drive into the Toshiba. Made sure the same drive letter as before (E).
Fired up PE6 on Toshiba. Looked good in Organizer. Everything seemed to be there, but I didn't try to make changes at that point.
Deactivated PE6 on the Dell. Activated on the Toshiba.
Then I realized that it is not right. I can edit Keywords and Rating stars on the pics, but not dates, captions or notes. I get “An error occurred while reading files or writing files to disc. The disc may be full or there may be problems with the source media.”
Only a fraction of the external drive is in use.
I can access the files on the external drive with another app (Windows Photo Viewer).
I tried Reconnect All Missing Files. Somewhat ambiguously, it says “There are no files to reconnect.”
In the properties in the Organizer for each picture are the proper file names and paths. Folder view works fine in Organizer.
I can put new files in the same external drive directories, import them into PE6, then edit them normally.
What is the easiest way to get Organizer properly connected to my files? I suppose I could reimport all the pics on the new machine, but I assume I'd lose some of my metadata. So that is out of the question.

Are you sure that file paths are correct? I say this because under XP they would have originally pointed to Documents & Settings/My Pictures whereas on W7 it will be User/Pictures, albeit you are using an external hd.
Take a look at this knowledge base note on the correct procedure for back-up and restore.
I think writing metadata to files for such a large catalog will be a thankless task.
