Where to get web server 6.0 SP10?

It appears a service pack 10 for Web Server 6.0 was released recently. Any ideas where to dowload this?

Hi
It seems that it is in the process of being released. Also, they are expecting this to be released some time in next week.

    I am trying to get web server path (currently it has been hard coded)
    in ASP we have something like,
    Server.Mappath()
    do we have any command in Java to do that?
    Thanks in advance

    thanks.
    but getRealPath() will work only with servlets.
    i have a case where i shud get the path in applets,
    and individual classes.
    i know, we can pass params from Servlet to this individual classes, but
    is there any other way to get the server path directly?

  • Problems getting Web server to connect with LDAP server.

    Have 4.1.8 iplanet Web and 4.13 LDAP running on Win2000 sp2. Both are working fine separately, i.e. 'have good anonymous LDAP://URL responses, and 'have working application CGI responses from web server. 'Have previously had same setup running on another server. However, with this install on win2000 cannot get Global settings LDAP feature to work ~ getting " An error occured while contacting th LDAP server. A connection to the the directory server could not be opened. Have checked DNS settings, etc. All seems to be in order. Any suggetions?

    Hi,
    What edition of Win 2K are you using (Pro/Server/Ad Server). The problem could be your DNS settings only.Ensure which machine is your DNS Server is running,is it on NT? if so change it to win 2K server.
    Delete your LDAP machines A record from DNS server and add it again. This will solve your problem.

  • Can't get Web Server 7 listener to run on port 80

    I'm replacing our older web server v6 servers with newer servers running web server 7u8. I can't get the listener to run on port 80 as a non-root user. I've run the usermod -K basic,net_privaddr command, and verified it in /etc/user_attr. When I try to start the instance, however, I get the following error "HTTP3127: http-listener-1: http://sun197d1z2.pseg.com:80: Error creating socket (No access rights)". If I change the listener to run on port 8080 the instance starts. Any ideas, what am I missing.
    Thanks

    Is it necessary to run as a non-root user. If you start up webserver as root, the core processes will run as root, but the virtual server will run as a different user for security. Usually on Linux, that would be the user "nobody". You can also specify the user each virtual server should run as.
    Hope that helps.

  • Where to get Web-Dynpro plugins for Eclipse?

    I've downloaded the trail version of "SAP NetWeaver Development Studio" which contains the Web Dynpro. The NWDS is in the fact Eclipse with Web Dynpro Plugins. But I find the version of the eclipse used in NWDS is quite old.
    I want to use the latest version of Eclipse and the Web Dynpro plugins. Who knows where can I get the Web-Dynpro plugins?

    Wei, I don't think that it is possible to do what you want to do.
    As you've noticed, NDS is built on an old version of Eclipse. It is possible to add some plugins that were written for the old version of Eclipse but you won't be able to use most of the new plugins.
    SAP has a new version of Studio coming out soon (in rampup now I believe) that is based on Eclipse 3.*. It is supposed to be easier to use plugins with that version of Studio (at least based on what I've read).
    I think this forum is where they discuss that.

  • EA6300 Cannot get web server to work

    Hi,
    I have a Linksys AE6300 router.
    I have a webserver set up with IIS to use port 780 for an HTTP site.
    It works when I use the internal IP http://192.168.1.150:780
    But, not when I use the external one.
    This is a new router so, I never had this working on this particular router before. (but, my old router worked fine - was able to view website using external IP).
    I tried using both the Single and Port Range forwarding. (My old router used port range).
    Here is my Single Port forwarding setup...
    And my Basic Firewall settings
    I also re-booted the router. But, still cannot view website. (unavailable).
    What more should I be doing? Or what am I doing wrong?

    Thank you for the information.
    1 - I unchecked 'Filter Anonymous Internet Requests'
    2 - I did the following in port range forwarding.
    3 - I did a full powercycle
    4 - I tried to access the external IP address using port 780 --  xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx:780
    Still got 'Webpage is not available'
    Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED
    I went to the site http://www.whatsmyip.org/port-scanner/server/
    And noticed that port 80 is closed. (as apposed to 'Timeout (Blocked)'
    Port 780 is open.
    after trying access the webpage (using port 780) ... this is all that was in my linksys log :

  • Sun Web Server 6.1 Insert into Oracle Database problem

    Hello there,
    I'm using Sun Java Studio Creator 2004Q2 Update 7, and trying to deploy to Sun ONE Web Server 6.1 SP3 without much luck.
    I am trying to use ojdbc14.jar and have included it in a lib directory added to Native Lib Path Prefix.
    DataSource Classname oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource
    URL jdbc:oracle:thin:@myserver:1521:myinstance
    JNDI Name jdbc/HBC
    In the constructor I have:
            // <editor-fold defaultstate="collapsed" desc="Creator-managed Component Initialization">
            try {
                abcRowSet.setDataSourceName("java:comp/env/jdbc/HBC");
                abcRowSet.setCommand("SELECT ALL ABC.TT.XX, ABC.TT.YY, ABC.TT.ZZ FROM ABC.TT");
                abcRowSet.setConcurrency(java.sql.ResultSet.CONCUR_UPDATABLE);
            } catch (Exception e) {
                log("TestEntry Initialization Failure", e);
                throw e instanceof javax.faces.FacesException ? (FacesException) e: new FacesException(e);
            // </editor-fold>
            // Additional user provided initialization code
             try {
                 abcRowSet.execute();
                 abcRowSet.next();
             } catch (Exception ex) {
    Then in the submit button action I have:
            try {
              abcRowSet.moveToInsertRow();
              abcRowSet.updateString("XX",fieldXX.getValue().toString());
              abcRowSet.updateString("YY",fieldYY.getValue().toString());
              abcRowSet.updateString("ZZ",fieldZZ.getValue().toString());
              abcRowSet.insertRow();
              abcRowSet.moveToCurrentRow();
              abcRowSet.commit();
            } catch (SQLException se) {
                error("ERROR SQLException: " + se);
                log("LOG SQLException: " + se);
                try {
                    abcRowSet.rollback();
                } catch (SQLException se2) {
                    log("ROLLBACK SQLException: " + se2);
    When I run this I get:
            [25/Apr/2005:20:32:41] info ( 2652): for host 127.0.0.1 trying to POST /hbc/faces/TestEntry.jsp,
            service-j2ee reports: WEB2798: [/hbc] ServletContext.log(): LOG SQLException:
            java.sql.SQLException: Invalid operation for read only resultset: moveToInsertRowAlternatively (1) I have tried to have automatically generated rave connection pool / jdbc resources and copying over the driveradapter.jar but as we know that version is locked for embedded applications only (since Creator only includes the AppServer PE's driveradapter which cannot be deployed on WebServers).
    Alternatively (2) I have tried manually setting up the connection pool / jdbc resources and copying over the smutil.jar / smoracle.jar / smbase.jar but it complains about java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.sql.jdbc.oracle.OracleDriver
    Is there a pain-free way to get Creator to play with Web Server 6.1 nicely? I seem to either run into Oracle THIN JDBC problems (main code above) or otherwise running into situations where Creator and Web Server 6.1 doesn't like each other (alternative 1 and 2).
    Thanks for your input

  • Where to get plugins?

    Please let me know where to get SQL Server 2000 plugin?? I spent an hour trying to find it to no avail.
    I appreciate your help.

    Hi,
    The SQL Server 2000 plugin, along with all our other plugins, can be downloaded from OTN in the same location as the core Oracle Migration Workbench download:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/migration/workbench/index.html
    Please refer to step 3 - Download the Plug-in for the Database You Want to Migrate, and select the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Plug-in download link to begin downloading the plugin.
    I hope this helps.

    * You may have to create a soft links for sh (most probably only for Web Server 7 onwards)
    # cd java-home
    # ln -s bin sh
    # cd jre
    # ln -s bin sh* You may have to fix soft links in your JDK (especially links which point to /usr/java5/jre/bin) if your JDK is not installed on your local machine and you have copied that directory to another machine : for instance <JAVA-HOME>/bin/java should point to ../jre/bin/java rather than /usr/java5/jre/bin

    o Go to [http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/security/50/#sdkpol|http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/security/50/#sdkpol]
    o Click on "IBM SDK Policy files" link i.e. [https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/preLogin.do?source=jcesdk|https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/preLogin.do?source=jcesdk]

    o Unzip unrestrict142.zip file and replace the two jars (US_export_policy.jar and local_policy.jar) in appropriate places in JDK.
    Same steps for JDK 6.

    Thank you to the entire product team for another great release!
    On Behalf of WS Team!

    I did not understand very well what you told me.
    The directory server is on another machine ex(m1).
    I have other web server on another machine ex(m2). This web server working properly (solaris 10). And when I access to application, ldap error does not appear.
    This web server (windows, SP11), is installed on my PC.
    The ldap configuration on this instance is the same as another web instance (dbswitch.conf):
    directory default ldap://m1:port/<base dn>
    default:binddn <bind dn>
    default:encoded bindpw <passwd>
    From my PC I can communicate well with the server ldap, I used a ldap administration program, and users and groups tab of my web server (windows).
    I open a browser on my PC, and if I access the other web server works fine.
    if I access to my web server, the ldap error appear...
    There are commands to diagnose problems with ldap, something about the character encoding windows-unix?
    Thanks in advance

  • My iPhone gets a "web server proxy error" connecting to wifi @ home

    Ever since installing Comcast Xfinity with Motorola SB6121 and Apple Extreme 5th generation, my iPhone 4 gets a web server proxy error or similar message for any apps seeking to go online.  My iPod Touch 3rd generation works as does my MacBook Pro.
    I've reset the router, harangued Comcast (no help - it's your phone, sir), rebooted the iPhone, checked all my settings (VPN - what's that? it's not connected), Proxy in the VPN settings is set to off. The phone will show the signal and it will check Apple Mail but Safari, Google APP anything needing web access will either hang or give the proxy error message.  Apple Customer Care said call Comcast, Comcast said call Apple & I'm surprised to find little help on the web.
    Here's what I found to work on a MacForum sight from 2 years ago.
    1.
    Settings->WiFi->under choose a network, click the blue arrow (on the right of the network nameyou use)->DHCP
         *now check the IP address with the one on your iPod Touch or computer to see if they are in sequence
         *scroll down to HTTP Proxy & make sure it is off
         -> renew lease may work
    It was the making sure the IP address was correct/in sequence which I moved to the STATIC tab and input all the same information (use a screen shot to remember it - home button and on/off button at the same time, it will store in your pictures folder) and give that a shot.
    The problem appears to be where multiple machines or devices are using the same router. The iPhone 3GS assigned an IP Address in order of preference, therefore 192.175.1.1 and then 192.175.1.2 etc. The iPhone 4 will assign a strange IP address which the router will not accept. You therefore need to look at the other devices linked and see what number is next in the sequence. Then go to static on the top tab and type in the IP adress manually followed by the Subnet mask, router and DNS details. Once you have completed the info press the DHCP button and HTTP Proxy as off - this is important.
    2.
    This is how i fixed the wifi problem...(i used my mac)
    So basicly I created a new WiFi hotspot on my iMac, then I connected my iphone to it and it WORKS!
    1. open System Preferences (Apple -> System Preferences) and click Sharing.
    2. select Internet Sharing at the left side.
    3. Then check off AirPort.
    4. Then creat a newtwork name, and password
    5. VOILA! look at the Wifi connections on your iPhone and it should be there!
    (IF YOU HAD ANY PROBLEMS GO TO THIS LINK..
    http://maketecheasier.com/create-wif...s-x/2009/10/20
    THIS SITE SHOWS YOU HOW TO SET IT UP)
    3.
    reset Network
    Same problem, but none of the above worked for me. Finally went to Settings/ General/ Reset/ Reset network settings. Saw this in a different thread.
    Hope these help.
    Cheers,
    cs

    This has solved loads of people who have this issue and have used an alternate DNS setting.  Below are instructions for both iPhone OTA and on you Mac
    If you are getting the error message "Unable to check for update" when you try an OTA (over the air update)
    Change DNS Servers
    Settings -> Wi-Fi
    Click the blue arrow on your connected network
    Delete everything in DNS and replace it with 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
    Try again
    If this works, you will probably want to remove the WiFi network using "Forget This Network" and then reconnect to it to get your original DNS servers back. Alternatively, make a note of the original DNS servers before deleting them and replace it after you are done.
    If you are getting the error message "Unable to check for update" when you try through iTunes
    On your Mac
    Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Network.
    Select the network connection service you want to use (such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, unless you named it something else) from the list, and then click Advanced.
    Click DNS, and then click Add at the bottom of the DNS Servers list. Enter the IPv4 address for the DNS server.
    You can use OpenDNS
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    or
    You can Google Public DNS if you want
    8.8.8.8
    8.8.4.4
    I have actually repointed my routers DNS so all my devices now point to OpenDNS servers

  • How do you get Sun One Web Server to read white spacing in a url

    Hi guys,
    I am currently using Sun One Web Server and this is the problem that i am currently facing.
    The url which is i am trying to read from the Sun One Web Server is http://test:8000/test/Testing%20A%20B
    The error which i am getting is java.lang.RuntimeException: java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character in path
    The reason why this is happening is because the original url is http://test:8000/test/Testing A B It has spacing in between the url. I cannot get rid of the spacing thru the code where its bound to a Content Management System. So the only way is to get the Sun One Web Server to be able to read this kind of url. There are about 300 to 400 of this types of url as they are dynamically generated.
    I was looking at the obj.conf and magnum.conf file to see whether i can manipulate this url to work for this situation. But with no luck.
    Can anyone please let me know if they have came across this problem.
    Thanks.

  • Where is "Web Server Instance Location" for SWSE installation in HP-UX?

    Hi there,
    We are using Siebel CRM SIA 8.1.1, our database version is Oracle 10g 10.2.0.2.
    For Siebel Web Server Installation in HP-UX, it will asked where is the location for "Web Server Instance Location" in HP-UX.
    Previously we also having problem for SUN Solaris, but there's a metalink on this (someone else raised it) and we manage to solve it.
    For HP-UX, we are using HP Web Server. According to bookshelf, we should use HP Apache Web Server?
    Kindly advice where is the location for "Web Server Instance Location" as per question in the installation.
    I believe our Web Server is installed in /opt/hpws.
    Regards,
    Rizwan

    Issues solved.
    Basically the location will /opt/hpws/apache32
    Currently Siebel 8.1.1 is only support apache32 bit.
    Things that need to consider, make sure you installing the same user as the user in apache32 folder.
    Means if you install apache32 as root, then you need to install SWSE as root.
    In my case, even thought i install as root, the apache32 folder will belong to BIN user. Not sure why.
    Then we had to install SWSE as bin user, then we manage to get the execution successfull msg.l
