my home button is broken on my ipod and i have assistive touch. but i am getting an iphone soon and would like to sell my ipod. how can i fix it or were can i get it fixed and for how much?

Since you dropped the phone in the toilet, this would be an out of warranty exchange as water damage is not covered.

ive had this ipod touch for a long time n the first time, i got it to turn on, cause it didnt want to work b4.
so i restored it n updateded it.
n the home buttom didnt work....
couple of hours later i got it to work n it was very sensitive; you had to press it a certian way ( had to press it soft.. but if u press it hard it would mess up.. too hard n it wont work..

I suggest it...that you should try recalibrating it ?
go any official apple app and hold down the power button, until the slide to power off appears then release it & hold down the home button for few seconds, this will automatically close your app and your home button will be recalibrated.

When you click on Submit, the feedback appears with the message to click anywhere or press Y. Is that what you are talking about? If you are talking about a real double-click, something must be wrong in your file. And which version are you using?

Any ideas on how to get my home button to work like it should?

I have the third generation iPad and have been having intermittent problems with the home button. The iPad seems to work just fine,
but sometimes the home button doesn't do anything. If I am in Safari and want to change to Mail, for example, the only way to get that done
is to turn the iPad off, let it rest a short time, turn it back on and then go to the screen I want. I can navigate within an app, but can't change apps
without going through the above...a real hassle! I had an appointment with the Genius Bar (Have Apple Care), but then the Home button started

How do I get the home button in Firefox 18.0.1 to open the home pages in existing tabs instead of new tabs? I have tried some add on with no luck.

I have tried the following Add on - Tab Utilities and Tab Mix Plus.
Basically on start up of Mozilla, I have five tabs that load. After surfing/working a bit online, I would like to reload the five original tabs back to the original home page/load settings. If I click on the home button, five more tabs load, giving me ten tabs instead of the five original that I desire.
Are there any other add on that would fix this. I tried the two above but either they do not offer it or I don't know what settings to choose.

The best way to keep your home page in the tab is to open other links in a new tab with a middle-click.<br />
Clicking the home page always open a new set, so you would have to close the current tabs first to prevent getting multiple home page sets.<br />
I don't know if there is still an extension that can open the home pages and replace the current set.

What can you do if your home button, lock button and assistive touch button no longer work?

My lock button stopped working so i activated the assisted touch, then all of a sudden my assisted touch stopped working and so did my home button. The screenshot and gestures works on the assisted touch but if i press for it to lock or go back to home it does not work. hold the HomeButton and the PowerButton pressed at the same time, keep holding, ignore everything on the screen, keep holding, when you see the white Apple logo let go and wait until the iPhone has started completely.
