Where to make suggestions or requests of Apple

I'm in a rather involved app that uses iTunes, and I'm coming up a bit short on a few features that I'd like to be able to script. Is there a place to make such suggestions to Apple?

I made another post about this but in iTunes, I need to be able to change the sort order of the lists showing in the window (either by artist, album, album by artist.)
I'm able to write the code that drills down to the UI element for the various list headings, but when "clicking" on the Albums header, all it does is swap ascending/descending instead of going album, album by artist, album by year... There's a weird split in the header button that shows in the UI Inspectors but I can't seem to click one side or the other like when using the mouse.
Also, even if I could click on that, I can't read the contents of the header to determine which sort I'm actually using.

Hey well I currently have an iBook G4 (12") for uni work and well I was thinking that I would love to see a MacBook (i thought of a name for it hehehe "MacBook Mini"? hehe) equivalent... Such as the much more desk space friendly size. In class i see everyone else with their 17" LCD laptops and no deskspace at all and it makes me lol... Well im not exactly sure how you'd go about it but i'm sure it can be done and i'm sure there would be a market out there for such products. I would get one if they were availible for the right price. So yeah umm i guess discuss? like your thoughts on the idea etc.

Is there any good place to offer suggestions on improving iTunes? I have a few.
#1: when a Genius song is playing, there should be a Buy button right next to it. Do yourselves a favor, and us!

Wondering if there is a place that we can make suggestions to apple?

I was just wondering if there was a way that we can make suggestions to apple about things we would like to see on IOS software.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place that the engineers would check, maybe they will come up with some good ideas.
Here's mine.
Since most people carry there phone with them every where they go, but might not carry there ID. Wouldn't it be nice if you could push the home button, even on a locked phone and be able to see an overlay on the picture that we chose that would have emergency information.
My locked screen has the earth planet that comes with the phone, I think its pretty. I want to be able to see that, and also the date and time. But I would also like to be able to have emergency information on the phone in case I am in an accident while riding my bike or walking.

Where do I make a feature request for tethering and A2DP

I would very much like to switch from Windows Mobile to an iPhone but:
1. It does not support tethering which is very useful for emergency situations that require internet for work on my laptop while travelling
2. It does not support A2DP which I think is a great innovation for music listening.
I understand that feature requests cannot be made on this forum, so could somebody please tell me where I can officially voice these requests to Apple?

In the US, it's unlikely that ATT will allow tethering without an additional tethering plan.
2. It does not support A2DP which I think is a great innovation for music listening.
There is an adapter you can buy if you want to use stereo bt headphones.

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user forum. Feedback to Apple goes HERE, and click on the appropriate subject. Check, but I know there are longer cables available from Apple. I have a longer one, just cannot remember the exact length.

Where can I make a feature request?

I have a feature request for the Chat feature of Thunderbird. My request is simple, when double-clicking on a user in an IRC channel, I think it should open up the "conversation" associated with that private message and give it the focus. Currently, it simply crates another "conversation", but leaves is in the background. Where is the current place to make such a request?

Actually you can have them off for low temp..at least for mine.
I am actually using an LED strip in the case fan 2 plug
I have the Z97 Gaming 5.. and in the bios I have the smart fan setup once it hits 40 it lights the led, but then min is 50% (I wish it could be less!) then as the temp increases, it gets brighter.
At idle, the led is off...
would be really nice if the case fans had the option for 20% like the cpu..
So have you looked at the bios fan settings?

I've tried that several times. It will not reset. The screen just stays black. I've never had this problem before. It usually resets the first time.

Where do I find movie bundles on Apple TV?

While searching on my laptop for movies in iTunes I notice several movie bundle options, but I can't find them on my Apple TV. I prefer to download movies to my Apple TV to save hard drive space on my laptop. I know one option is to download movie bundles in iTunes and then sync my computer with the Apple TV. I prefer not to do that. Does anyone know where I can find movie bundles on Apple TV?

OK, question has been answered.
First, movie bundles are a group of movies ranging from 2-4 that can be bought for the price of one. For example you can buy all four Lethal Weapons movies in a movie bundle for $19.99 ($4.99 a movie). This feature can only be purchased through iTunes. Once iTunes syncs with the Apple TV, then I can view them from Apple TV.
Second, I didn’t understand the purpose of Apple TV. After speaking with Apple and reading discussions, I want my Apple TV to sync with iTunes. If my Apple TV looses it’s data, I have a way to restore any data that has been lost. Now to learn how to have my library store on an external hard drive.
FYI - I submitted a couple of suggestions to Apple. First offer a monthly rental subscription to be competitive with RedBox or NetFlix. Second, partner with hulu or offer something similar to hulu with the option to purchase episodes. These two features only being offered to Apple TV owners. If you agree, make sure to submit the feedback to Apple.

No not bothered about sycing apps etc it is all about calendars and maybe notes. IN terms of how its done I just want it the easiest way and preferably so that if an entry is made on one calendar then it populates the other.
Thgius is beacuse I have my work diary on outlok, which I then link with my ical. I want to make sure that information is then shared with her.

How do I make suggestions for new features or improvements in LR?
The stacking function, IMO, needs to be improved. The time between shots does not take into account the length of exposure. For example if my exposure is 5 seconds the stacking exposure will not add the two exposures together in the time setting < 4 seconds.
Ideally I would like to see an HDR stacking function, looks at time between exposures (taking into account the length of exposure) and changes in exposure.
ideally there would be similar options for pans and focus stacking.

How to send a request to Apple?

Would someone please point me in the right direction to send and/or make a request to Apple. In particular, I would like to make a request to have Graphics card/energy saver selection for my MBP. It was a selection in Leopard, but not in SL. I could choose between one Graphics card for energy savings and another for higher performance, but now I do not have the ability to choose. I've searched under customer service, customer requests, etc, but I just can't seem to remember the term that has been used in this forum.

Better is to send a bug report or an enhancement request to Apple via its Bug Reporter system. To do this, join the Apple Developer Connection (ADC)—it's free and available for all Mac users and gets you a look at some development software. Since you already have an Apple username/ID, use that. Once a member, go to Apple BugReporter and file your bug report or enhancement request. The nice thing with this procedure over submitting feedback is that you get a response and a follow-up number; thus, starting a dialog with engineering.

Where is the Premiere 'Feature Requests' forum?

I would like to suggest that Adobe add the ability to do a name and/or parameter search from the Media Browser in Premiere. I've found feature request forums for many other apps, but not premiere. Where should I post this request?

HT6055 Request to Apple: restore support for older codecs

I used Quicktime extensively for my research before upgrading to Mavericks, and now that these older codecs have been removed, none of my experimental videos taken over the past 5 years will play in Quicktime. This is extremely disappointing.
I'd like to gather as much user support as possible to request that Apple restore support for these older codecs.
PLEASE RESPOND ON THIS THREAD BY ADDING YOUR REQUEST FOR APPLE TO RESTORE SUPPORT FOR OLDER CODECS.
FYI, my video files were .avi format, recorded by a Nikon D300s and a Zeiss EVO 55 scanning electron microscope.

Some things can be converted without transforming the data. I have data in Excel spreadsheets that is identical to the data in the Lotus Symphony spreadsheets in which I entered the data in 1986. Converting video does involve data transformation which is undesirable unless it comes to a point where it is unavoidable. Speaking as a research scientist, one is obligated to try to preserve original data to a reasonable extent. In this case the video is not "dead". It can still be played. It's just Apple's behavior that anything older than about 4 years is old-fashioned and to be forgotten that's mandating stepping outside Apple software to do so. Yes, it would be a good idea to convert so when future upgrades mean no old codecs will play at least the data are available to some degree. I still would not get rid of the old files since they are the original data, and if the person spends 30 seconds installing VLC player they can still view the original data for another 10 years at least (if they keep the computer that long -- my computer is 12 years old and I can still run applications on it dating from the early 1990s).
By the way, you can still buy VHS players. I agree they will not be around forever, and if it's a family video you want to play 20 years from now then you may as well convert it now, but then that's not research evidence.
Optical media are dead at Apple, but still extensively used outside Apple. I agree in 20 years it will be hard to find a DVD player but visit right now any store selling movies or music, or a public library, and optical media are still around. Apple can force the issue where their hardware is involved, especially as regards to installing Apple software, and of course by pushing online media sales (if you buy from the iTunes Store, which I don't).
