We are having both my Daughter's and Son's weddings this year. I would like to have another 'Romantic' trailer to use and iMovie has but one is there an app that has more trailers available to be used?

If you mean you purchased more iCloud storage, that doesn't expand the amount of storage on your iPhone. iCloud storage only gives you more room for backups, documents, photo sharing, etc. You will still need to remove things from your iPad to give you enough room for the update. You'll need less room if you update via iTunes on your computer than if you update directly on the iPad.

To answer your question, no you cannot add storage to the device. You have to do as suggested above, delete content from the iPad to make room.
You can download most paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID, and as long as the content is still available in the store when you want to download it again.
But you should also backup your iPad first so that you can retrieve data later if it is feasible to do so. IMO, it's still a very good idea to use iTunes so that you can transfer all of your paid content into the iTunes library and then delete it off the iPad without having to worry if it will still be available in the store when you go to download it again.

The iCloud storage is meant for your backup, you do not get more space on iPhone.
You can by connecting to computer iTunes for update then you will not have space problem

Where is the optimize video for iMovie 10??

I have HV20 HDV camcorder with bunch of older tapes. I had iMovie (8 or 9) before where I used to get specific options for importing the tapes.
For example, I could choose save location, add to or create new event, split days into new events, and optimize video.
Now under the new iMovie 10, I don't see most of the above options. And before you say use the older iMovie, I've looked under the application folder and I can't find the older iMovie folder.. Just the new version 10...
So I Need the:
1. Split days as new event
2. Optimize video option. (So that I can make sure I'm importing the maximum quality/ full/original size not a lower bit rate.) How do I know the new iMovie is importing the highest quality and not downsampling as the older iMovie had other bitrate options..
Please tell me where I can find the older iMovie 9 to download and install (again, I can't find it in my application folder), or tell me where I can find those options in the new versions.

iMHD6 was a 'real', timeline based NLE. it lacked a few of iM09's features as greenboxing and pic-in-pic, but due to an API, you were allowed to teach iM new tricks by plug-ins.

yepp, iMHD6 allowed a 'length' of clips down to 1 frame (iM09 is limited to 3frames), allthough I recommend designated tools as FrameByFrame or - bestofshow - iStopmotion (onion-skinning, stuff...).
if you like to make a bunch of drawings into a 'video', QuicktimePro offers a simple conversion of an Image Sequence to .mov..

iM09 is a from scratch new app.. just sharing the name, but totally diff. app and usage (a 'clean'n upload-tool, I like to say)

Does Quicktime Pro when installed offer more codec for iMovie Export

I have a client that wants Master quality 1080p LOSSLESS no matter what size for their presentations done in iMovie. I use QuickTime.
I know they want a true lossless codec that can be used in other edition programs. I was thinking on getting QTP7
If installed, does it have a master archival for video output that can be access from an imovie project.

QuickTime Pro does not give you more codecs, but Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro 9 will both give you more codecs. I don't use Adobe, so I don't know what they are wanting.
In iMovie, you can export in Apple Intermediate Codec or Apple Animation Codec. Both of these are full i-frame codecs.
If you have Final Cut Pro X or Logic Pro installed, you can also export from iMovie in ProRes 422, but the internal editing will not be in ProRes 422 so I am not sure that it would gain you anything.
If you had Final Cut Pro installed, you could import into FCP as ProRes 422, then import the ProRes clips into iMovie and edit it there, and then export as ProRes 422. But if you have FCPX installed, it is just as easy to edit it in FCPX.
It is possible that Apple's Compressor ($50) app would give you the ProRes codecs, but I have no way to test that.

Where is the optimization feature for iMovie 10.0.6?

In the older iMovie, when you imported a movie into your project using iMovie's File >> Import >> Movies... there was an "Optimize Video" checkbox that could be checked or unchecked. Is there a way to do this in the new iMovie? I have a snowfall over a black backdrop clip that I'm trying to lay over my movie. The idea is for just the snow to appear over the movie. The black will only disappear and act transparent if the clip is NOT optimized. Any ideas? Solutions?
