Where to put maps when using navigation software, ...

anyone with a mobile navigator for symbian, and particulary n95 8gb, where do you put the maps? my navigon navigator 6 cant find any maps, but i have a .map file in the navigon map in the mass storage of the phone, what do you do?

I have a suggestion where you can store them, but I don't think the moderators would find it as funny as I might.
Seriously, either wrap them around the case with the iPod inside, or coil them up and store them in another pocket. It's really up to you.

Adobe Acrobat V9 Professional crashes or causes PDFs to be corrupted when using Dragon software. I use Nuance Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5 to assist me when I add comments to a PDF. I also use it when making additions or changes to text. When I use the two software programs together, Acrobat constantly crashes. If it doesn't crash, an error occurs trying to save the file. I entered 988 comments into a 158-pg PDF, only to find the file was corrupted and couldn't be printed. I also could not see the list of comments (click Show Comments).
These problems do not occur if I don't use both products simultaneously.

Never overwrite a clip that is used in Pr. Give the
modified/corrected/updated clip a new name and import that into your Pr
project. Then Alt+Drag the new clip on top of the old clip in the
timeline to replace the clip instance.
If import-then-drag isn't your style, then right-clicking the original
clip in the Project panel and selecting Replace Footage will accomplish
the same thing.
This important rule applies in Encore as well.

i tried everything in this article, but still have the same problem when using Rapidweaver software. NOT with other software. I am converting my iWeb site to Rapidweaver, whenever there is a calmer period in my office. I have 16 Gb RAM on my NEW iMac and have Parallels desktop, mail, safari, iWeb and Rapidweaver running simultanious.
I never have the problem if i don't use Rapidweaver, but after i have added several pages to Rapidweaver, the problem begins. my iMac won't start up. the only thing that works is re-installing Macos OS X 10.8. i tried even whiping the completeharddrive, and reinstalling with a complete new user, the same problem.
I had it on my previous iMac also, and bought a new one because i thought the problem was in the iMac first. i hadn't noticed it only happens with using rapidweaver.
i sent my complete rapidweaver project to the programmers from rapidweaver at Realmacsoftware, but they couldnt reproduce my problem, there macs started up without any problem.
i deleted all the rapidweaver addons and extra stacks, and started a complete new project.
saterday i had the problem again, after adding about 5 new pages to my rapidweaver site.
i think i have reinstalled Macos OS X 10.8.2 20 or 30 times by now
does anyone have a sollution?

My Aperture Keeps Crashing on Importing Photos and when Using Nik software HDR Pro

My Aperture has been Crashing everytime I import any Photos from Camera and when Using Nikk Software HDR Effects Pro...Sort This Out Please!

The exact steps I am taking are:
1. Start Aperture...wait till it loads and then connect USB to Nikon D300... Go to import...name project or image info.
2. Click Import all Selected and then Aperture comes up with Crash notification.
3. Send Error Report to Apple.
4. I have tried Belkin Card Reader...does the same.
5. I have used this Camera multiple times...and also a Nkon D7000 without any issues.
6. Both Cameras use Sandisk Extreme Pro Memory Cards...one uses Compact Flash and the other uses twin SD Cards.
7. I installed Nik Softwares HDR Effects...haven't been able to run it successfully as yet.
8. Nik Software support sent me details on Duplicate Arial Fonts...removed them as well.
9. I am running a NEW model iMac with i7 3.4Ghz with 16GB Memory with 256GB SSD... With a 2TB Internal Secondary Drive as well.Running OSX Lion 10.7 and I constantly check for and do all Updates as notified......is absolutely Frustrating.....just need to find a Solution.

If you see the email message and the message is going to the recipient, my assumption is that the photos are not being attached properly for some reason. You will not see the photos only in the outbox, the entire unsent email would be in there, so that's why I'm asking if the emails do go through.
IN any event, the outbox will be in the same window of your email account where you see your inbox, sent folder, trash folder, drafts folder, etc. It should be readily visible, so if you have to ask, most likely you've never seen it because it isn't there. In some email accounts, it only appears if you have unsent emails so, if you don't see it, then you don't have any unsent emails.

Echo detected when using skype software - can anyone help?

Hi, can anyone help?
I've detected an echo when using skype software. This occurs through the computer of the person I'm speaking to, so that when they speak, an echo comes back to them half a second later. I'm wondering if the speakers and microphone on my laptop are located too close together and the microphone is retransmitting sound from the speakers? My laptop is an HP mini 110.
Is there anything I can alter through my audio settings to stop this happening?
Any advice is appreciated!

I have a Mini 110 that performs beautifully with Skype (no echo, etc). I have two other HP systems that don't do anywhere near as well. I did tweak the graphics card on mine, which tremendously improved the video. However...we are talking sound here, so I'll list the settings on my 110 for you to compare to yours:
I'm sure you already know how to find the settings, but...in Skype, do Tools>Audio Settings
Microphone: set at about 45% with Automatically adjust microphone settings checked
Speakers: set at about 75% with Automatically adjust speaker settings checked
Like I said, my Mini is a jewel. I wish I could say the same for my G60-535DX.

Can someone explain to me why when I use something like->
RunState.SequenceFile.Data.Seq["Test Seq"].Main["Test Step"].Result.Status
the status will never be updated if I am configured for LabVIEW Run-Time Engine (but will work for Development System).
Also why does->
RunState.Sequence.Main["Test Step"].Result.Status
update for both LabVIEW Run-Time Engine and Development?
I fixed my problem by using RunState.Sequence.Main["Test Step"].Result.Status but I still am curious why the other way doesn't work??? Can someone please give me a sanity check?

RunState.SequenceFile.Data.Seq contains the edit time copy of the sequences. These copies are not used at all at runtime. At runtime a separate copy is made (and is accessible from RunState.Sequence) and only that runtime copy is updated. These runtime copies are made for several reasons such as the following:
1) To make it so that modifications made to the sequence at runtime, do not affect the original edit time version of the file (you don't want modifying the status to be an edit to the sequence file right?).
2) To support recursion, recursive calls into the same sequence each have their own copy of the sequence so that the state for a call isn't overwritten by a recursively made call to the same sequence.
There are probably other reasons as well, but these are probably the biggest ones.

Why "Please sign in" when using navigation?

I have bought regular and legal Nokia E72 from Telecom and my navigation/GPS has been working perfectly, of course without any connection to the internet. Recently, I decided to update my maps, and now when I want to use my navigation I must sign in to Nokia web site, i.e. when I try to start my navigation, next sentence pops up "Please sign in".
How come? Why? I do not want to use my navigation using expensive internet and roaming connection(s).
So, if I do not SIGN IN, I can not use navigation, and if I SIGN IN, the internet/telecom tariff starts ticking...
Where did I go wrong? What can I do in order to "get back" my navigation which I used previously by connecting "directly to the satellites". I do not want to sign anywhere, I'd like to use my free of charge navigation and I paid for that 350 euro.

Hi scoobyman, the "square" is NOT marked, so "Sign in automatically" is already on - "NO".
This is very strange and very expensive: I have just checked out my E72 and I realized that E72 connects "itself" to the internet every "here and there" (very often, let's say every 15 seconds) and stays connected to the internet for next 15 seconds, even though my Options - Settings - Internet - Connection is OFFLINE. I also tried to put Network destination to "Multimedia msg", but I gained nothing: cell phone keeps on connecting to the internet very often and stays connected for next 15 seconds (but ONLY OVI Maps, "Garmin" - which I also installed - does NOT try to connect "itself" to the internet).
I have also tried to have Positioning methods - Assisted GPS and Network based - turned OFF, but E72 keeps on connecting to the internet.
How come? What is to be done.
I need to emphasize that something like this has never happened while I was using original OVI Maps application, but after I had updated OVI Maps, I have gotten this problem, as well as little phrase on the top "Please sign in". I do not want to sign in.
All this makes no sense. I have heard that Nokia is the best, but taking into account that this is my first Nokia and after my Sony-Ericssons and HTCs, I have decided not to go with Nokia ever again.
So, who can help me resolve my two problems, just two the most important, among all other problems related to E72 that I have not mentioned?

Where to put files in using runtime.exec(run.exe)?

I try to use the following program in EJB to call my EXE program in the J2EE server:
runtime.exec("c:\\j2ee\\public\\exe\\run.exe temp.txt");
In the execution of mill_turn.exe, it will open several files for read and write.
So where to put the file temp.txt and other files the run.exe need to read?
Looks like the J2EE server can not find them?

Process proc = rt.exec(cmd,null,dir);Use above codes, I really got the right output from my external program for the first time. But , after that, the output keeps same when I change the filename in the following code:
cmd="c:\\..\\run.exe temp.prt"
to
cmd="c:\\..\\run.exe Abc1.prt" , which must have different output.
The codes for calling external program are implemented in the SessionBean of J2EE.

How do I get rid of various lines around text boxes when using navigation panes

How can I get rid of these various lines that are displaying sporatically around different text boxes . . . but only when the navigation panel is displaying? I previously had the issue and changed the text box properties to no fill. It fixed the problem in the document with no navigation panel, but once the navigation panel is displayed the lines appear. And yes, I fixed the text box properties before creating the bookmarks for the navigation panel.

Every device, browser and browser version has its idiosyncrasies.
Just using a stroke and a drop shadow should not have been enough to require Muse to convert the page fill to an image. Were/are there also other effects on the page? Are the page corners slightly rounded?
Bevel and Inner Glow definitely require an image to be created. Most other effects/properties do not.

Project Owner not mapping when using Create Project in Ideation Custom list

I have a custom ideation list in Project Online used for project proposals. When using the Create Project function in the ribbon, I select the mapping from my Project Owner people picker field to map to Project Owner ID. The Project is then created successfully,
however the Project Owner is listed as the person who clicked the Create Project button in the ribbon, not the name in the Project Owner field. This also occurs when running from SPD workflow. I know in on-premise situation this works as I expect ... is this
a bug in Project Online?

Just wanted to say that, I was able to reproduce your issue. It works as expected on-prem, but not as online. I will update once I have more info on any posisble resolution.

Licence error message when using automation software

Error message when using Rational Functional Tester 7.0.1.1
to record a Flex application. The message seemed to come from the
Flex application.
I can record a fiew step in the application, then I have the
message : "Licence are not present. Eith the trial version only
limited record are allowed". But, my license of my Rational
Functional Tester application is activated.
I am using a Flex builder 3 trial version and the trial is
not over.
Is there any problem to get the license in the File compiler
with "D:\apps\IBM\SDP70\FunctionalTester\bin\rft.swc"? That RFT
file is supposed to be included in the flex application once
compile

How to map when using mail adapter

I'm doing a test with mail adapter in XI. The scenario is I put an XML representation content based on the outbound interface used by sender mail adapter directly in inbox mail content and send it. At the other side, I want to using receiver file adapter sotre the content as a file in file system. But some mapping is needed.
What I have already done is to define one outbound interface(IF_Mail) which is used by sender mail adapter.IF_Mail using the structure like
<MT_Mail>
<mail>
</mail>
</MT_Mail>
I also defined an inbound interface(IF_File). IF_File is using the structure like
<MT_File>
<file>
</file>
</MT_File>
I want to map the value of <mail> in mail to <file> in file. I did structure mapping between two message types in IR and all of the configuration in XI.
I put the below content
<MT_Mail>
<a> test
</a>
</MT_Mail>
as inbox mail content and send it. But when I monitor the XI message. It always says something is wrong with mapping.

copy the payload of incoming message (SXMB_MONI) to your desctop and test the mapping inside the IB Repository (Test Modus of IF-Mapping or Message Mapping), switch the trace to "all".

Issue when using Navigation attributes for filtering in BEX

Hello,
We are encountering an issue when applying filter on Navigation attributes in BEx query built on top of a BW HANA Virtual Provider.
The interface is as below :
HANA Calculation View -> SAP BW 7.4 Virtual InfoCube -> Multiprovider -> BEx Query.
We have directly mapped the base Infoobject from HANA View to BW Virtual Provider and using this in BEx query free characteristics. We also have used the navigational attribute of this Infoobject in our Report variable screen as well as an Auth relevant object.
Eg if ZMATERIAL is the base infoobject and ZMATERIAL__ZXYZ navigational attribute is used in the report variable screen and as Authorization variable.
This is causing the query to fail.
The query also fails if I apply any filter values on any Navigational attribute with error message :
"Termination message sent ERROR DBMAN (305): Error reading the data of InfoProvider"
Using the navigational attribute with authorization variable fails with below :
"Termination message sent ERROR DBMAN (099): Invalid query;Failed to find attribute ZMATERIAL__ZXYZ [...]"
Appreciate any inputs on this issue and how this can be fixed.

Based on the OSS note , it says to import BW7.4 SP7. We are already on BW7.4 SP7
We get error "Termination message sent ERROR DBMAN (099): Invalid query;Failed to find attribute
ZMATERIAL__ZXYZ" whenever we try to apply filters on any of the navigational attribute.
